Trip to Crewe / Sandbach 08-08-2026

Today we decided to re-visit Crewe. We stayed fairly local as theres some work that needs doing on the car. Research for the trip consisted at looking at the football fixtures and checking the weather. The weather was for warm weather with some sunshine. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 10:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After getting ready we set off around 12:00. We got in the car and we ran through Blurton along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. We continued Northwards up the A500 through Etruria and Longport and we passed YMCA DK70 BVR and white minibus LK16 BCZ going the other way. We went under the M6 and we continued along the A500. We crosed over the West coact main line before we turned right onto the B5071. We stopped at the YMCA and went into the cafe. Matthew had a full English Breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. Afterwards Matthew went to the toilet. We got in the car and we continued up the B5071. We carried on over the A534 onto Mill Street and we ran around the outside of Crewe on Vernon Way. We turned left onto West Street and we parked up by the shops. We said goodbye to mum and we walked through the shopping centre past the mini golf course onto Victoria Street. We entered the bus station and we had a look around at what we might catch. We saw First Potteries 63360 on a #103 to Hanley.

We walked to the other end of the bus station and we waited for something going towards Sandbach. A short time later we saw a ubs come on stand. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 5205 on a #38 to Macclesfield.

We got on the bus and we booked a D&G Network Day ticket for £7.50 before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and we turned left onto Delamere Street. We followed the road around to the right onto Chester Bridge and we crossed the railway line and onto Edleston Road. At the end of the long straight road we turned left onto the A534 and we ran past the railway station ans past B&Q. We traveled Eastwards along Crewe Road. We went through Haslington and Winterley and further North through Wheelock Heath. We got up and got off here to go to the pub. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 5205 as it continued towards Macclesfield.

Once off the bus we headed into the pub. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we had a glass of Coke. When we had finshed our drinks we headed outside and we waited for another bus. We decided to go on towards Sandbach. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 577 on a #37 to Northwich. We got on the bus and we place the D&G Network Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off thriugh Wheelock Heath and we crossed the A534 and we ran through Wheelock. We ran over the canal and into Sandbach town center past Sandbach School. When we got to the Commons and we ran onto the other side of the triangle where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 577 before it continued towards Northwich.

Once off the bus we headed into the market. We visited the sweet shop and Matthew bought some spearmint chews. We carried on through onto the High Street and we went into the bakery. We bought a millionaire's shortbread and a bottle of Coke. We walked back to through Warm Walls and we sat in the shade near to the bus stop. Matthew ate his millionair's shortbread. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6016 on a #38 to Crewe,

We got on the bus and placed the D&G Network Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the common and we went Westwards out of the town onto Crewe Road and through Wheelock. We crossed the A534 and we ran through Wheelock Heath and Winterly, passed the pond. We continued into Haslington and turned left onto Crewe Road and we re-joined the B5077 towards Crewe Green. We crossed over the roundabout onto the Westbound A534 and we ran towards Crewe railway station. We past the railway station. We continued for around 1/2 mile before turning right into Edlestone Road. We ran into town crossing over the railway line and forwards onto Chester Bridge. We followed the road around onto Delamere Street and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. As we got into the bus station we saw D&G Bus 6014. Matthew went to the toilet and and when he came back there appeared to be a swap of buses on the #8. We looked on stand and we saw ancient Enviro200 D&G Bus 35 on a #8 to Sydney.

We got on the bus and we placed the D&G Network Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and we turned left onto Delamere Street. We ran forwards onto Market Square and we turned right onto Market Street. We turned left onto Chester Street amd left onto Prince Albert Street. We turned right onto Earle Street and we crossed over the railway line and passed the retail park. We continued along the A532 for a few hundred yards and we turned left onto Laurestone Avenue. We turned left onto Wordsworth Drive and we turned right onto Coleridge Way. We continued onto Lansdowne Road and we turned left onto Sydney Road. I hadn't seen anywhere where we could get off and do something interesting, so I decided we should just go back to Crewe. We continued along Sydney Road and we crossed over the railway line. We continued forwards onto Remer Street and we turned left onto Wheatley Road. We turned right onto Lime Tree Avenue and we turned left onto Elm Drive. We ran to the roundabout and we did a u-turn back up Elm Drive. We turned left onto Remer Street and we continued Westwards. We turned left onto Middlewich Street and we headed Southwards. We turned left under the railway bridge and we turned left onto Vernon Way. We turned right onto the A532 and we turned left onto High Town. We turned left onto Victoria Street and we entered the bus station. We let the bus empty and Matthew took a picture inside of D&G Bus 35 before we got off the bus.

Once off the bus we looked for something to catch. Immediately we spotted another bus in the bus station. As we got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 32 on a #85 to Nantwich.

We got on the bus and we placed the D&G Network Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Victoria Street and we ran past the former pub. We turned right onto Hightown and left onto the A532. We turned right onto Frank Webb Avenue and we turned left onto Rolls Avenue. We ran around Chassagne Square and we continued along Rolls Avenue. We turned left and we headed Southwards along Minshull New Road. We rejioned the Westbound A532 and we crossed over the railway line. We turned right onto Sunnybank Road and we turned left onto Halton Drive. We turned left onto Marchfield Avenue and we re-joined the Westbound A532. We joined the A530 and we past the site of a new Wetherspoons opening in September. We headed to the edge of nantwich and we ran forwards onto the B5334. We turned left onto the B5074 and we turned right onto Beam Street. We ran into the centre of town and we pulled into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 32.

We had a look around and we saw D&G Bus 92 on layover and we saw Mikro Coaches YJ16 DYY on layover in between runs on the #39 to Crewe.

We headed down Beam Street and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we had a glass of Coke. We sat near the front of the pub, and there was a charity auction going on. After we had finish our drinks we returned to the bus station. Few minutes after we got back there was some movement around the bus station. One of the buses did a lap of the bus station before coming on stand. We saw it was D&G Bus 100 on a #85 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we placed the D&G Network Day ticket under the scanner for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Beam Street. We turned left onto the B5074 and we turned right onto the B5334. We ran past Sainsbury's and we crossed the roundabout onto the Northbound A530. We continued Northwards for about a mile and we turned right onto the A532. We turned left onto Marshfield Avenue and we turned right onto Halton Drive. We turned right onto Sunnybank Road and we turned left to re-join the Eastbound A532. We crossed over the railway line and we turned left onto New Minshull Road. We turned right onto Rolls Avenue and we ccontinued onto Chassagne Square. We crossed the square and continued along Rolls Avenue. We turned right onto Frank Webb Avenue and we turned left to re-join the Eastbound A532. We veered left onto West Street and we turned right onto Hightown. We turned left onto Victtoria Street and we entered the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We set off through the bus station and we saw Stagecoach Merseyside 27217 on #84 to Chester.

We walked back to the car and we met up with mum. We set off onto West Street and we turned right onto Vernon Way. We turned left onto Mill Street and left onto the A534. We passed the railway station and we were passed by First Potteries 63345 on a #103 to Hanley. We turned right onto the A532 and we stopped to make an adjustment to the car. We continued to the roundabout and a car going arounnd the roundabout at speed with a trailer lost some of it's load. A pasting table slide across the roundabout! A passing driving instructor stopped to remove the pasting table from the roundabout. We turned right onto David Whitby Way past a new development site. We joined the Eastbound A500 and we saw an unidentified red and yellow foriegn coach. We went under the M6 and we continued along the A500. We saw an unidentified grey coach, 2 unidentifed Moving People coaches, Prospect Coaches (Flixbus) YS75 AYB and Cabability WA64 BRX. We came off the A500 at Sideway and we joined the Eastbound A50. We came off the A50 onto Stanley Matthews way and we saw an unidentified white coach parked up near to the Bet365 stadium. We turned left onto the A5035 and we got back around 18:30. I nipped out to get some food. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of dandelion & burdock. We edited photos and we did some of the Blog. I dropped uncle Dave back home and later on we did an e-mail. Matthew chilled out on his computer until bedtime around 01:00... Mark

Today we decided to revisit Crewe. We asked Matthew on the Friday where he would like to go and he chose Crewe. Research consisted of just checking the weather which was for a cold, mainly cloudy with some sunshine. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 10:30 and had toast and an appl and raspberry juice drink for breakfast. After getting ready we set off around 12:00. We got in the car and we ran through Blurton along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. We continued Northwards up the A500 through Etruria and Longport and we passed Tyrer's TYR 10R going the other way. We went under the M6 and we continued along the A500. We crosed over the West coact main line before we turned right onto the B5071. We stopped at the YMCA asnd went into the cafe. Matthew had a full English Breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. Afterwards Matthew went to the toilet. We got in the car and we continued up the B5071. We carried on over the A534 onto Mill Street and we ran around the outside of Crewe on Vernon Way. We entered the bus station and we had a look around at what we might catch. we saw white D&G Bus 5021 on a #85 to Newcastle.

We decided to catch something Northbound out of Crewe. We waited for about 30 minutes and we saw a bus come on stand. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 31 on a #37 to Northwich.

We got on the bus and we booked a D&G Network Day ticket for £6.90 before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and we turned left onto Delamere Street. We followed the road around to the right onto Chester Bridge and we crossed the railway line and onto Edleston Road. We got off the bus and we headed into the market hall. We bought some spearmit chews, a Twirl and a can of pop for later. We came out of the market and we headed to the toilet. The toilet was occupied so we headed into a nearby pub and Matthew used the toilet there. Afterwards Matthew had a glass of Coke. After we finished the drink we headed outside. We just missed a #38 to Crewe. We had about 30 minutes to wait for the next Crewe service. We realised there was a #38 to Macclesfield so we crossed over the common. We looked on the bus map and we saw the bus was still in Crewe running over 30 minutes late! We crossed back over the common and we waited for the Crewe bus. A short time later we saw a bus come around the common. Asit got closer we saw it was D&G 57 on a #37 to Crewe.

We got on the bus and placed the D&G Network Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the common and we went Westwards out of the town onto Crewe Road and through Wheelock. We crossed the A534 and we ran through Wheelock Heath and Winterly, passed the pond. We continued into Haslington and turned left onto Crewe Road and we re-joined the B5077 towards Crewe Green. We crossed over the roundabout onto the Westbound A534 and we ran towards Crewe railway station. We past the railway station. We continued for around 1/2 mile before turning right into Edlestone Road. We ran into town crossing over the railway line and forwards onto Chester Bridge. We followed the road around onto Delamere Street and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. As we got into the bus station we saw a Stagecoach double decker. As we got closer we saw it was Stagecoach Merseyside 15584 on a #84 to Chester. We got on the bus and we booked to Nantwich. We went upstairs and sat down just in front of the centre stairway. The bus set off out of the bus station on onto Delamere Street. As the tiop deck was empty Matthew took a picture inside of Stagecoach Merseyside 15584.

The bus turned into Edleston Road and then right onto Nantwich Road. The bus carried on along the A534 until we reached the turn for the village of Willaston. We carried on into Willaston and then turned right onto Coppice Road and we turned left and onto the A534 and we crossed over the Nantwich by-pass and we headed into town. When we got to the bus station we got up andgot off the bus and Matthew took a picture of Stagecoach Merseyside 15584 before it continued towards Chester.

We sat in the bus station and Matthew seemed to want to catch the D&G bus that was opposite to us which was on layover. We worked out that it wasn't going to depart for a while so we decided to go to the pub. Before we went to the pub we saw D&G Bus 55 on layover in between runs on the #85 to Newcastle.

We crossed over the road and headed into the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards he had a small glass of Coke. We headed back to the bus station and whilst we waited we saw Mikro Coaches YJ16 DYY on a #39 to Crewe.

A few minutes later the bus pulled onto the stand. We saw it was D&G Bus 34 on a #53 to Leighton Hospital as expected.

We got on the bus and we placed the D&G Network Day ticket under the scanner. The bus was empty, so Matthew took a picture inside D&G Bus 34 before we sat down.

At departure time the bus set off out of the bus station and we saw D&G Bus 35 on a #52 to Audlem. We turned right onto the B5078 and past the site of redevelopment. We turned right onto Birchin Lane and we turned left onto the B5338. We crossed the roundabout ran forwards onto the A534. We turned left onto Church Lane and we headed Northwards. We turned left onto Wistatston Green Road and we ran turned the end. We turned right onto the A530 and we headed past the back of the Bentley factory before we turned left towards the hospital. We passed a new housing development and we entered the hospital area where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 34 before it did a #53 to Buerton.

Whilst we waited there were a couple of service going away from crewe. We saw D&G Bus 5001 on a #42 to Congleton. We sat at the bus stop and Matthew shared his Twirl with us. We saw D&G Bus 31 on a #31 to Northwich. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it closer we saw it was D&G Bus 575 on a #31 to Crewe.

We got on the bus and we placed the D&G Network Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the hospital and we turned left onto Bob Brown Way. We turned right onto the B5076 and we headed Southwards. We crossed over the West Coast Main Line and we turned right onto Broad Street and we crossed back over the railway line. We crossed over the A532 and we ran forwards onto Hightown. We turned left onto Victoria Street and we entered the bus station from the North end and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 575.

Another vehicle seen was D&G Bus 3011 on a #8 to Sydney.

We messaged mum and we arranged to meet her in Asda car park. Matthew used the toilet in the bus station. We walked over to Asda and we waited in the car park. A few minutes later mum appeared and we got in the car. Matthew had a can of Coke that he bought earlier. We decided to go back home as we were close to home and get chips on the way. We set off onto Victoria Street and we ran forwards onto Flag Lane. We turned left onto Wistatston Road and we ran forwards onto the A5078 past a new building on the left. We turned right onto the A5019 and left onto the A534 past the railway station passing coach. We headed Southwards down the A532 and we turned right onto David Whitby Way. At the end we joined the Southbound A500. We ran towards Barthomley and under the M6 and we continued along the A500. As we travelled Southwards we passed 3 Caledonia Travel coaches coming the other way. We travelled through Etruria and Stoke and as we got to Sideway we joined the Eastbound A50. We came off the A50 and Heron Cross and we turned right onto Blurton Road. WE stopped at the chip shop and Matthew had 2 small sausages chips and gravy and a can of Dandelion & Burdock. We drover along Blurton Road and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we got back around 19:00. We went into the house and Matthew ate his sausages chips and gravy. We did some Blog and sorted out an e-mail. Matthew had his medication and afterwards I took uncle Dave home. We continued with the Blog and Matthew had a cup of Cherry Coke. Matthew went to bed around 00:30... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to Stafford on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. We waited for a bus to Hanley. A short time later we saw a bus turn around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket on the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 and ran under the railway line. After crossing over the A500 we ran into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We followed the one-way system around onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland Street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we ran under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. After stopping briefly outside the railway station we turned right onto College Road and We turned left onto Avenue Road where we saw A1 Embassy YX17 ZZL. We turned right onto Stoke Road. We ran up through Shelton into Snow Hill and forwards onto Broad Street. We turned right onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Pall Mall. We ran forwards onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 67154 as it continued towards Trentham.

Afterwards we waited for a bus to Stafford. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 35938 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on and we booked to Stafford before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off through the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and left onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned right onto Shelton New Road and we saw Cabability minibus DG17 UYM parkd up at their depot. We ran down through Etruria an up into Hartshill before joining the A52. We ran into Newcastle down George Street. We joined the one way system and we turned left on the roundabout onto Barracks Road. As we got to the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we ran down through Trent Vale and into Hanford. We continued down through to Trentham and then we got onto the fast section of the A34. We ran through Tittensor to Darlaston and past the roundabout where the new KFC has been built. We continued down to the North end of Stone. We Veered left onto Newcastle Road and we ran into Stone town centre. After going around the one-way system and onto Stafford Road. We crossed over the A34 onto Eccleshall Road. We turned left onto Tilling Drive and we ran onto the industrial estate. We saw former Wolverhampton Council minibus WX07 DKN. We rejoined the A34 at the roundabout where the A51 goes Eastwards and we ran Southwards through the fast section on the A34 to the A513 roundabout. We ran the last couple of miles into town down the A34 onto Foregate Street and we turned right onto Chell Road where we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over Chell Road and we set off past the old Wilko now Poundland and we turned right onto Gaolgate Street. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we continued into the Guildhall market. Matthew had an English breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we set off out of the market onto Chell Road. Whilst we waited for a bus we spotted Arriva Midlands 3748 on a #5 to Telford.

A short time later the bus arrived on stand. We saw it was First Potteries 35933 on a #101 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we the Knot ticket to the driver. The bus set off along Chell Road and we ran down to the railway station past the new cafe in Victoria Park. We ran around the South end of town and over the river onto Cope Street. We ran up Eastgate and along North Walls and into the Gaol Square bus station. We left the bus station onto the A34 and we ran Northwards to the edge of town. Due to roadworks on the A34 roundabout we turned left onto the M6 link road and at the first roundabout we did a 180' turned and rejoined the A34. We continued up the fast section of the A34 to the edge of Stone and then we turned left onto the industrial estate. We ran around the estate and onto Tiling Drive. We turned right onto Eccleshall Road and we crossed the A34 onto Stafford Road. We turned left onto Crown Street and we stopped at the main stop in Stone. We ran North up Newcastle Road and we re-joined the Northbound A34. We ran Morth through Meaford and Tittensor and up into Trentham. We continued North through Hanford and Trent Vale and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle bus station. We onto Barracks Road. We crossed the roundabout onto the A53 and we went onto the one-way system on the A52. We veered left onto George Street and at the roundabout we went onto Shelton New Road. We crossed over the A500 and we ran up to Snow Hill. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. Afterwards we saw First Potteries 63118 on a #3 to Crewe. We got on the bus we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot on the road at the back of Victoria Road. We turned left onto Manor Street and we turned left onto City Road. We crossed over onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. He also ate the a bottle of Coke and a toffee Crisp. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Smithpool Road. We crossed over the railway line and we walked down to the entrance of the park. For dinner Matthew had washed down a can of Irn Bru. In the park Matthew walked up to the playground. Once we had finished in the park we walked back along Smithpool Road. We turned right onto City Road and we stopped at the kebab shop and we brought burger and fries. When we brought the food we walked back down City Road and we turned left into Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and use the computer. For tea Matthew had burger and fries followed a couple of slices of syrup sponge puddinge. Matthew also had a can of Coke. We chilled out on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to Stafford later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Temple Street church RX18 GZW parked up in the Street. we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and and turned right. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street. Once in the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went to the stop to wait for a bus to Stafford. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 65036 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on the bus bus and we booked to Stafford before We sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off through the bus station. and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and left onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned right onto Shelton New Road. We ran down through Etruria an up into Hartshill before joining the A52. We ran into Newcastle down George Street. We joined the one way system and we turned left on the roundabout onto Barracks Road. As we got to the bus station in Newcastle we saw required First Potteries 63172 on a #22 to Longton. bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we ran down through Trent Vale and into Hanford. We continued down through to Trentham and then we got onto the fast section of the A34. We ran through Tittensor to Darlaston and we continued down to the North end of Stone. We Veered left onto Newcastle Road and we ran into Stone town centre. After going around the one-way system and onto Stafford Road. We crossed over the A34 onto Eccleshall Road. We turned left onto Tilling Drive and we ran onto the industrial estate. We saw former West Lothian Council minibus SP64 KBP. We rejoined the A34 at the roundabout where the A51 goes Eastwards and we ran Southwards through the fast section on the A34 to the A513 roundabout. We ran the last couple of miles into town down the A34 onto Foregate Street and we turned right onto Chell Road where we got up and got off the bus. We set off along the path through to Broad Street and we continued onto Earl Street. We crossed the Mill Street and we continued onto Greengate Street and we visited McDonalds. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. After eating his food Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we left McDonalds and we set off along Greengate Street. We croosed Market Square and we continued onto Gaolgate Street and we turned right into the bus station. We waited for a bus back to Hanley. We saw Select 35 on a #8 to Parkside.

We waited for a bus back towards Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 65031 on a #101 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We left the bus station onto the A34 and we ran Northwards to the edge of town. We continued up the fast section of the A34 to the edge of Stone and then we turned left onto the industrial estate. We ran around the estate and onto Tiling Drive. We turned right onto Eccleshall Road and we crossed the A34 onto Stafford Road. We turned left onto Crown Street and we stopped at the main stop in Stone. We ran North up Newcastle Road and we re-joined the Northbound A34. We ran Morth through Meaford and Tittensor and up into Trentham. We continued North through Hanford and Trent Vale and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle. We turned right onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station from the South end. Once we got ot the bus station we got up and got off the bus. In the bus station we stopped at the toilet. Afterwards we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67172 on a #98 to Ball Green.

We walked up to the top end of the bus station and we took a few bus pictures. We saw Stagecoach Megabus 54263 on a M36 service to Barnstaple.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto barracks Road and we ran down onto the Southbound A34. We turned left into the hospital and we saw Roseville BV60 BAA. We ran through the grounds and onto Hilton Road. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we cut through to the residential unit. We went upstairs and chilled out in his room. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street and we onto City Road. We crossed the road and turned left onto Fountain Street. We turned right on to William Streeet and left onto Victoria Road. We walked down to the bus stop and we waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was First Potteries 63097 on a #6A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked the Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Victoria Road and towards Joiners Square. At the roundabout we went forwards onto Lichfield Street. We turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up Lichfield Street. We went forwards onto Tontine Street and we walked onto Tontine Square. Once we had finished we crossed over Stafford Street. As we travlled we saw First Potteries 63097 on a #7 to Kidsgrove. We turned left onto New Hall Street and we re-joined Marsh Street and into Katharine House – The Big Charity Shop and we brought some stuff. We returned to Marsh Street and we crossed over Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We turned left into The Parkway and we went into Hanley Park and parked in the car park. We walked over to the pavilion. Once we had finished in the park we walked down College Road. we returned to Fenton in an Intercity taxi. We set off down College Road. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road. We continued onto the A52 and we ran alongside the railway line before turning left onto City Road. We ran up the hill to Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we returned the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and chilled out in his room for a short while. For tea Matthew had burger and fries with beans followed by cake. Matthew also drank a can of Irn Bru. Matthew returned to his room to chill out. He watched television and used his computer. later on he had a bath. For supper Matthew had some toast. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 63098 on a #11 to Newcastle. Later on Matthew went downstairs to do his shopping. We set off onto City Road. After crossing over the road we turned right into Manor Street. At the end we turned left onto Victoria Road. Part way down Victoria Road we saw First Potteries 32633 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge. We turned left onto Victoria Road. and we ran down to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran forwards onto Lichfield Street. We ran up to the ring road and we ran anti-clockwise around Hanley. We turned right onto the A50 and we ran Northwards through Cobridge into Burslem. We continued up Scotia Road towards Tunstall and we continued onto the High Street and Northwards through Goldenhill. We ran down the hill to Kisgrove and we continued under the railway line and canal into Cheshire. We ran through to Rode Heath and we turned right onto the A5011. We turned left onto the A533 and we ran the last few miles into Sandbach. We followed the A533 Northwards through town and we turned right into the town centre. We parked up on the common and we saw D&G Bus 35 on a #316 to Cooksmere Lane. We walked down the High Street and we stopped at the pub for dinner. Matthew went to the toilet and after wards had dinner. He had a burger and chips washed down with a glass of Coke. For dessert Matthew had a chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When we had finished we walked back to the Common. We returned to Fenton in a lucky Seven taxi. We set off onto the A533 and we headed Southwards. We ran down to Rode Heath and we turned right onto the B5011. We turned left onto the A50 and we ran through Kidsgrove. We ran through Goldenhill and we joined the A527 towards the Chatterley Valley. We joined the Southbound A500 and we ran through Longport and Etruria. We came off the A500 at Stoke and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we and right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and back to his room to chill out. we saw white minibus VE69 KFD.

We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We waited at the bus stop by the flats for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw ABC Supreme EN14 CHF. The bus turned the corner and as it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley.

We went in the shop and Matthew brought some clothing. Once we had finished we walked down onto Stafford Street and we turned right onto Piccadilly. We turned left onto Cheapside and we continued onto Bagnall Street. We continued past the Victoria Theatre and into the bus station. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63096 on a #6 to Coalville.

We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot up Victoria Road and we went sharp right onto City Road and we turned left into Glebedale Road. Once back at the day centre we went to Longton by car. City Road and we ran forwards onto Manor Street. At the end we turned left onto Victoria Road and we headed down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran forwards onto Lichfield Street. We joined the anti-clockwise ring road and we ran around to Town Road. We headed towards Birches Head and we joined the Northbound A5272. We ran through Sneyd Green and up to Smallthorne roundabout. We continued onto High Lane and we ran to the end. We turned right onto the A527 and down the hill to Fegg Hayes. We turned right onto Chell Heath Road where we saw First Potteries 63176 on a #99 to Newcastle. and we ran through Chell Heath past Matthew's old School where they are building a new shaltered housing complex. We continued through Bradeley where we saw Stanton's of Stoke HXZ 9939. At the end of the road we turned left onto Ford Green Road and up into Norton. We turned left into Saint Nicholas Avenue and we ran into the estate. we ran to the far end and we stopped just off Barks Drive. For tea Matthew had sausages chips and gravy from the chip shop. When Matthew had finished eat he went to the toilet. We then set off back to the residential unit. We came out of the estate along St Nicholas Avenue and we turned right onto Ford Green Road. We ran to the bottom of the hill and ran up through Smallthorne to the roundabouts. We turned left onto the A5272 and we headed through Sneyd Green and to the edge of Hanley. We ran clockwise around the ring road and we turned left onto Lichfield Street. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we went across the roundabout onto Victoria Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper.
