Trip to Newcastle / Trentham 28-04-2026

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus later. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to Newcastle. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. We waited for a bus to Hanley. On the way we saw First Potteries 67153 on a #101 to Hanley. We stood at the bus stop and we waited for a first but to Hanley. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was D&G Bus 6010 on a #1A to Audley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw Autocabs Y5 EFX. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Matthew went to the toilet and went back to the bus station to wait for a bus to Hanley. Once off the bus we set off onto Hassell Street and we turned left onto High Street and we visited Poundland. Matthew brought a can of Coke. We continued along High Street and we turned right onto Hassell Street and we continued onwards to the bus station and we waited for a bus to Fenton. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 63174 on a #101 to Hanley.

Eventually the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63117 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on the bus and we booked to Trentham Garden before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we ran down through Trent Vale and into Hanford and we continued down through to Trentham. Near to the old entrance to the gardens we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went to across the road the road and into Trentham Gardens. we walked around the North end of the lake and we went to Totally delicious. After finishing eating Matthew went to the toilet. Once we had finished eating we walked back through the main gate and onto the A34 opposite the A5035. We turned left and walked along the A34 to the old Gardens entrance where the bus stop is situated. We waited for a bus back towards Hanley. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63345 on a #101 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off Northwards through Trentham. We continued North through Hanford and Trent Vale and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle. We turned right onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station from the South end. We got up and got off the bus. We continued up Castle Walk and we stopped at the Pound Bakery. We brought a sausage roll and a bottle of Coke. We turned right into Ironmarket and we walked to the gardens. We stopped in the gardens and we ate the sausage roll and drank the bottle of Coke. We set off along Ironmarket and we turned left onto castle Walk. We continued down to the bus station. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we waited for a bus towards Longton. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 63113 on a #39A to Butt Lane. A short time later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 35691 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we went upstairs and down towards. We set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We turned left at the roundabout onto the A34 and we ran South as far as the hospital where we turned left. We came out of the hospital and turned left onto Hilton Road. We ran into Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran down the hill into Stoke town centre and along Church Street. After a brief stop we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We passed the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. We ran up the hill through Shelton and we followed the road to the right onto Cleveland Road and Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road, continuing onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we ran up the hill into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew decided to go to the toilet. Matthew had a can of Fanta Orange whislet waiting for the bus. A few mninutes later the bus appeared. It was First Potteries 67173 on a #6 to Coalville.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot up Victoria Road and we went sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and back to his room. Matthew used his computer and watched television in his room. Later on and we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we crossed over onto Manor Street for We stopped at the Fenton Community Hall and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we had a drink of Coke. Matthew had a ham sandwich and sausage rolls. After we had finished we returned to the residential unit. We walked along Manor Street and we crossed over City Road and we turned right onto onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs and back into his room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 08:30 and had pancakes for breakfast washed down with orange juice. Latrer on Matthew set off on foot towards Stoke. We cut through onto City Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car MM75 XTT parked up at their garage. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was First Potteries 67153 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was D&G Bus 6005 on a #9 to Westbury Park.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto john Street and left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down through Shelton along Regent Road and College Road and we passed the railway station and we continued forwards onto the A52. We followed the road to the right under the railway line. We crossed over the A500 we entering Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We turned left onto Princes Road past the old school. Part of site was demolished to make more car parking spaces. We ran into Penkhull village. We onto Newcastle Lane and we turned right onto Hilton Road. We turned into the hospital and as we travelled through the hospital we saw MB Airport Travel DS22 KYT. We turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus. We set off on foot up Castle Walk and we visited Home Bargains. We walked up Castle Walk and we turned right into Ironmarket. We stopped at the pub and matthew went to the toilet before having a glass of Coke. Matthew also had tea. He had a burger and fries followed by a chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When we had finished we returned onto Ironmarket and we turned left onto High Street and we turned left onto Barracks Road and into the bus station. Eventually the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63354 on a #101 to Stafford.

We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over city Road and walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went back upstairs to chill out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw a bus approaching. The bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and and turned right onto College Road. Once in the bus station we got up and we got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off up Lichfield Street and across onto Tontine Street and we crossed over Tontine Square. We visited Primark and afterwards we went to the Card Factory. After we had finished we walked across Tontine Square towards TK Maxx. We cam out of the bottom of TK Maxx onto Tontine Street and onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station we saw Arriva Midlands 3233 on a #64 to Market Drayton. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67158 on a #6 to Coalville.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up and had crumpets for breakfast with orange juice. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and over the railway bridge. We had a walk around the pool and then we returned along Smithpool Road. We walked back along Smithpool Road and onto and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and back into the room. He chilled out in his room using his computer and watching buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we crossed over City Road onto Manor Street and we saw blue minibus SG72 XNC.

We turned right onto William Street and we turned left onto Victoria Road. We walked down the hill to the park. In the park Matthew had a sit down and ate a ham sandwich as well as a chocolate bar washed down with a bottle of Irn Bru. We left the park onto Beville Street and we turned left onto Victoria Road and walked up to the square and crossed over the road. We waited at the bus stop for a bus to Hanley. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was Stanton's of Stoke 579 UXR on a #50 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Victoria Road and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street past the site of the new housing development. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walkd down to the bottom of the bus station. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63117 on a #103 to Crewe.

We got on the bus and we booked to Kidsgrove before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we ran forwards onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity Street and left onto Stafford Street. We turned left onto New Hall Street and we re-joined Marsh Street. We ran forwards onto the A50 and we ran through Cobridge up to Burslem. We ran into the centre of town past the old Lloyds bank and onto Scotia Road past the Lidl. We turned left onto Williamson Street and right onto Tunstall High Street. We continued up the High Street we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over High Street and we saw D&G Bus 149 on a #9A to Hanley.

We continued down to Asda and we did some shopping. After we had done the shopping we set off foot onto Williamson Street. We walked down to the bus stop. We saw it was First Potteries 63118 on a #38A to Waterhayes.

We got on the bus bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the Williamson Street and we turned right into Scotia Road and we ran into Burslem town centre. We ran past the site of the new Kiln Gate Retail park and we continued into Cobridge and down into Hanley. We joined Hope Street and we ran forwards to Stafford Street. We ran past the taxi ranks and we continued past the Albion and the town Hall and we ran forwards onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus and Matthew used the toilet. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67144 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot up Victoria Road and we went sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and back to his room. Matthew used his computer and watched television in his room. He watched television and used his computer. We went downstairs and we got in a car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned right City Road and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentlee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We stopped at the children's centre and Matthew went to the toilet. He had a can of Coke. Once we had picked up the cake we headed back to the car. Once we had finished we got back into the car and we set off onto along Dawlish Drive and we turned right onto Beverley Drive. We turned left onto the A5272 and we ran past the First bus depot. We turned right onto Anchor Road and we ran up the hill and down into Longton. We turned left onto Market Street and we ran around Longton on the one-way and we turned right onto Commerce Street. We turned right onto the Strand and we ran forwards onto King Street. We ran trough Foley and forward into Fenton. We ran onto City Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots with gravy followed by a slice of chocolate cake. Later on he had a drink of Fanta orange and a few digestive biscuits. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home by car. We got in the car and we set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street the Queen Elizabeth II Court. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road and past the former pub where we are building a new convenience store. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew went to the toilet and we walked out of the bus station onto Castle Walk and we stopped at the Pound Bakery. Matthew brought a double chocolate cookies before continuing along Castle Walk. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 63118 on a #38 to Hanley.

At the roundabout we turned right onto the Northbound A34. We ran Northwards past the bus garage and we ran through Milehouse. We ran Northwards to the McDonald roundabout and we turned left onto Wolstanton Road. At the roundabout we turned right onto Chesterton High Street. We turned right onto Crackley Bank and we ran through Crackley and Red Street. We crossed over the A500 and we veered left onto Talke High Street and we turned right onto Monumet Road and we turned right onto Ashenough Road. We turned left onto Chester Road. We re-joined the road and we ran forwards onto Coalpit Hill. We ran forwards onto the A34 and up towards somewhere where we turned right onto the B5371. We turned right onto Mitchell Avenue and we turned left onto Lower Ash Road. We turned right onto First Avenue and we turned right onto the A50. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and then forwards through Sandyford past the retail park into Tunstall. We ran down the High Street. We continued down the High Street and we turned left onto Williamson Street. At the roundabout we turned right onto Scotia Road and we ran into Burslem town centre. We ran past the site of the new Kiln Gate Retail park and we continued into Cobridge and down into Hanley. We joined Hope Street and we ran forwards to Stafford Street. We turned right at the end past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street before entering the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We crossed over Lichfield Street and over the ring road to the chip shop. Matthew had sausage chip and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. When we had fiished we returned to the bus station. We crossed over the ring road and over Lichfield Street and into the bus station. We waited for a bus towards Fenton. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63364 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off through the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and left onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned right onto Shelton New Road and we ran down through Etruria an up into Hartshill before joining the A52. We ran into Newcastle down George Street. We joined the one way system and we turned left on the roundabout onto Barracks Road. We got to the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We set off on foot up Castle Walk and we visited Home Bargains. We walked up Castle Walk and we turned right into Ironmarket past the old RBS bank which has now The Bank Space. We turned left onto Castle Walk and Costa coffee. Matthew had a sausage oatcake. washed down with a botte of Orange Fanta. Afterwards Matthew went to the toilet. When we had finished we got back onto Castle Walk and we turned left onto barracks Road and we veered left onto Stubbs Street and into the bus station. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was dud First Potteries 63117 on a #22 to Longton.

We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road and we ran Southwards onto the A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the the grounds. We turned right onto Hilton Road and forwards onto Harpfields Road. We ran to the end and we turned left onto the Southbound A34. We ran under the A500 into Hanford and we turned left onto Church Lane. We climbed to the top of the hill and we turned right onto Wilson Road. We turned left onto New Inn Lane and we ran into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035 and we crossed over the railway line into Blurton. We passed the end of Stanley Matthew Way and we turned left onto Magdalen Road. We turned right onto Finstock Avenue and left onto Beaconsfield Drive and we ran through the estate to the other end. We turned left onto Church Road and at the the roundabout we turned left onto Blurton Road. We ran to the bottom of the hill and we turned right onto Longton Hall Road. We ran up the hill and we ran forwards onto Heathcote Street. We turned left onto the high level A50 and at the roundabout we turned right onto Baths Road. We ran past Tesco before turning right into Longton Interchange. where we got up and got off the bus. We walked over to Tesco and Matthew used the toilet. Once off we walked onto The Strand and we walked to the bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Fenton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 35940 on a #40 to Fenton. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down The Strand. We turned left into Baths Road and we entered Longton Transport Interchange. After a brief stop we ran out onto Baths Road. We crossed over the A50 and we went straight onto Foley Road. At the end of the Road we turned right on Longton Hall Road. We climbed the hill and then went down into Blurton. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we climbed up the hill into Heron Cross. We crossed the A50 and at the traffic Light we turned left onto Grove Road. We continued into Mount Pleasant and onto Wheildon Road. We turned right by The Regent onto Smithpool Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 35940 before it continued towards Hanley.

Once off the bus we walked back to the residential unit. We set off along Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. Later on we went out for tea on the bus. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked around the corner onto Campbell Place to wait for a bus to Trentham. A few minutes later we saw a bus come around the corner. It was First Potteries 67141 on a #21 to Trentham.

We got on the bus and we booked to Trentham before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Campbell Place and forwards onto London Road. We continued through Oakhill and past the former Oakhill pub. We ran into Trent Vale and we turned left onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw RR Travel MM72 ZMY. We went into the pub and Matthew found a seat where he could see out of the window. Matthew had Sausage, egg beans and chips with bacon and 2 oatcakes washed down with a glass of Coke. for dessert Matthew had toffee sponge pudding and custard. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included First Potteries 63347 on a #101 to Stafford and Allinson Travel YP69 VRN heading Northwards. When he had finished eat Matthew set off onto the A34 and around the corner onto London Road to wait for the bus back towards Stoke. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67154 on a #21 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along London Road and we ran through Oak Hill past the former Oak Hill pub. We continued through the the West End before running into Stoke Town centre and Campbell Place. There was nothing of interest parked up in City cabs and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off along London Road. We turned right into Church Street to wait for a First bus back up to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 110 on a #1 to Meir.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus and going to visit uncle Dave later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre. Matthew got ready to go to Newcastle. Whilst getting ready we saw Travel Express SM65 DMY heading towards Stoke. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Newcastle. We stood at the bus stop and we waited for a first but to Hanley. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 67146 on a #11X to Newcastle.

The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road where we ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We turned left onto Hassell Street and we returned to the bus station. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 35943 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we went upstairs. When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We turned left at the roundabout onto the A34. we ran South as far as the hospital where we turned left. As we travelled through the hospital we saw Travel Express YJ69 EHW. We came out of the hospital and turned left onto Hilton Road. We ran into Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran down the hill into Stoke town centre and along Church Street. After a brief stop we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 and we ran past the railway station to joiners Square. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off down John Street and we turned right onto Bethesda Street. We stopped on the corner of Bethesda Street and we walked up John Street and into bus station. In the bus station we saw First Potteries 63117 on a #7A to Biddulph. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67146 on a #11X to Newcastle.

We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 35691 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. We turned right onto Bambury Street and we ran to the end we turned left onto Galsworthy Road and left onto Heathcote Street. We turned right onto Longley Road and left onto Ashwood. We turned right onto Anchor Road and we ran under the railway line. We turned left onto Markets Street and we followed the one-way system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We set off on foot up Hassell Street and we turned left onto the High Street and we went into Cash Converters. Afterwards we walked back on High Street and we walked through to Clarks. We continued along High Street. We turned right onto Ironmarket and past the former Malik's store which Titanic Brewers want to open up as a Bod. We turned right onto Castle Walk. We stopped at Greggs and brought a sausage roll. We continued onwards to the bus staion Matthew ate his sausage bap a can of Irn Bru. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67146 on a #11 to Hanley.

We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. We ran past the site of the new Burger King and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We stopped outside the old job centre as the #11 no longer calls in the Interchange. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Beverley Drive. At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 and we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Road and we turned right onto John Street. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Afterwards Matthew visited the shop and brought a egg sandwich and bottle of Coke. We waited for the next #23 back to Fenton. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Newstead.

After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked back to to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we walked back into Temple Street and into the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to the room and went on his computer and drank his bottle of Coke. Later on Matthew went out to the pub by car. We went downstairs and we got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned onto Christchurch street. We ran on to Manor Street and at the end we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we crossed over the roundabout onto Lichfield Street. We ran up the hill to Hanley and we joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned onto Town Road and we ran towards Birches Head. We ran forwards onto the A5272 and we ran through Sneyd Green and due to a diversion we turned left onto the A53. We turned right onto North Street and right onto Sandbach Road. we continued onto Sneyd Hill and we turned left onto Smallthorne. At the roundabout we turned right onto Ford Green Road. We ran town the hill to the bottom and we turned left into Chell Heath Road. We turned right into Hayes Road and we ran forwards onto Stratheden Road and to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a drink of Coke. Once Matthew had finished his drink we returned to Fenton by car. We got in the car and we set off onto Stratheden Road. We ran forwards onto Hayes Street and we turned right onto Chell Heath Road. We turned right onto Ford Green Road and we we ran up Smallthorne Bank. At the roundabouts we turned left onto the A5272 and we ran through Sneyd Green into Birches Head. We ran forwards onto Town Road and and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran towards the railway station. We ran alongside the the railway line and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road and we turned right onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots with gravy followed by a slice of chocolate cake. Later on he had a drink of Fanta orange and a few digestive biscuits. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street the Queen Elizabeth II Court. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. He also ate the a can of Irn Bru and a golden crunch creams. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. We waited for a bus to Hanley. On the way we saw Afford rent-a-car BD24 LPE parked up at their garage. We stood at the bus stop and we waited for a first but to Hanley. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was D&G Bus 113 on a #1A to Audley.

The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw Travel Express HF64 AJU. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. We decided to do a bus up to Keele. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 35949 on a #25 to Keele.

We got on and booked to Keele before we went upstairs and we sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road we turned right onto Ryecroft. We veered left onto Merrial Street and after a brief stop we ran forwards onto Church Street. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran forwards onto the A525. We turned right into Orme Road and we continued along Orme Road before we re-joined the Westbound A525. We climbed the steep hill up to Keele and we turned left into the campus. We turned left onto University Drive we did a u-turn and headed into the campus. At the main roundabout we turned right onto Barnes Hall Road and we turned left onto The Covert and we turned right onto Keele Drive. We ran through the campus past the back of the library and out the other side into the village. We got up and got off the bus. We crossed over The Village and walked we saw First Potteries 35949 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke we sitting down. We set off through the campus We turned right onto University Drive and we turned left onto The Covert and we turned right onto Barnes Hall Road and we turned left onto onto University Drive and we ran up to the entrance of the campus before turning right onto the A525. We ran down the hill and we crossed over the roundabout. We turned left onto Orme Road and we ran through the estate and to the end of the road. We turned left onto the A525 and at the roundabout onto the Southbound A34. We ran down two roundabout and we went left onto Barracks Road. We entered the bus station the bus set off out onto Barracks Road. We went Southwards on the A34 before turning into the hospital. We trundled through the hospital grounds and ran up to Hartshill Road via Hilton Road and The Avenue. We went down Hartshill Road into Stoke town centre. We went forwards onto Church Street and the bus topped in the town centre. After a brief stop we continued over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 and we ran past the railway station to joiners Square. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew went to the toilet and we went outside and we crossed over the ring road and the Venus Fish Bar. For tea Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. whilst we ate we saw an unidentified Castell Coaches coach. When we had finished eating we crossed over the ring road and cut through onto Birch Terrace. We turned right onto Lichfield Street and we went into the bus station and Matthew went into the toilet. We waited for a bus towards Fenton. A short time later we saw a next #23 come on stand. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67152 on a #23 to Newstead.

We went down John Street and onto Bethesda Street. The road in front of the museum was closed so we turned right onto the the ring road. We turned right onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned left onto Copeland Street. We continued forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the road around onto Church Street. We crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road.
