Trip to Fenton / Newcastle 29-11-2017

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going to visit uncle Dave later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 63096 on a #23 to Hanley.

We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. In the morning Matthew went out on the bus. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we went up City Road we saw First Potteries 67637 on a #11 to Newcastle. At the roundabout we turned left and walked past KFC and into JTF. Matthew went upstairs to the cafe and had toast and a drink of Coke. When we had finished we walked back to the day centre. We set off past KFC and onto City Road. We saw D&G 34 on a #1A to Park Site.

We turned left into Glebedale Road and back to the day centre. For dinner Matthew had a ham sandwich followed by cake. In the afternoon Matthew went to Newcastle on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto City Road and we ran down the hill onto the A52. We went under the railway line and we went around the one-way system in Stoke. We went right around to Glebe Street and we went under the railway line and onto the A52 again. We went to Joiners Square and we turned left onto Lichfield Street. We ran around the ring road to Clough Street and we ran to the end and we stopped at Etruria Park. After a quick stop at the park we continued to Newcastle. We ran back up to the ring road and we went around to Broad Street. We ran back down to Snow Hill and we joined Shelton New Road. We ran up to Hartshill and we joined the A52 at the edge of Newcastle. We ran around the one-way system and forwards onto Ironmarket. We parked up and we walked up Ironmarket to the pub for a drink. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Once we had finished we returned to Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX for the journey back to Fenton. We set off onto Jubilee Roundabout and we ran over onto the one-way system. We joined the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke. We went around the One way-system around Stoke and onto Glebe Street. We followed the road around onto Church Street and we crossed over the A500. We went under the railway line and we ran up City Road into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and use his computer whilst he waited to go out to uncle Dave's. We saw white minibus G14 SBX going towards Longton.

Later on Matthew went to uncle Daves for tea. We set off onto foot onto Temple Street and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We crossed over the railway line and walked across the spare ground onto Willowdale Avenue. We walked onto Wheildon Road and we went to uncle Dave's house. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots. later on he had a drink of Tango orange and a few digestive biscuits. Matthew chill out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Willowdale Avenue. We crossed the spare ground and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Trip to Fenton / Stoke 18-04-2017

Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley.

Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and onto Christchurch Street. At the day centre in the morning Matthew went on the computer. For dinner Matthew had a ham sandwich. In the after noon Matthew went for a walk. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Masterson Street. We stopped at the minimarket and we picked up a bottle of Coke. Once we had finished shopping we walked back up Masterson Street and onto Christchurch Street and back to the day centre. For the rest of the afternoon Matthew watched a DVD. when in was time to return to the residential unit we set off on foot onto Christchurch Street and onto Temple Street. Back at the house Mathew had some toast and then chilled out in his room on his computer. We saw Free Spirits MV05 YMM going towards Longton.

For tea Matthew had chicken and chips followed by toffee yoghurt. Later on Matthew went to Stoke on the bus. We set off on foot onto City Road and we walked down to the stop by Travers Court. The bus appear and it was First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we ran forwards onto the A52 were we saw First Potteries 53830 on #11 to Hanley. We ran under the railway line and we went over the A500. We ran into Stoke along Church Street and we got up and got off the bus. We then walked down the road to The Wheatsheaf. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included Roseville BP08 KJN & First Potteries 67158 on a #11 to Newcastle. We then walked back up to Fenton. We set off along Church Street and we saw Z Carz HK57 LFY. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line and up the hill. Back at the residential Matthew went up to his room and chilled out. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark.

Trip to Fenton / Florence 20-10-2015

Today Matthew was in respite and he was going into his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. After he had finished eating he eaited in his room for his transport to arrive. When it turn up it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Dividy Road. We headed Eastwards towards Adderley Green and then we turned right onto Anchor Road. At the bottom of Anchoe Road we went around the one way system and crossed over the A50 before going West on the A50 towards Heron Cross. At the second roundabout we turned right and went through the traffic lights onto Heron Street. We followed the road around the corner onto Station Bridge Road and then we turned left onto Christchurch Street and then to our destination. In the morning Matthew went into the sensory and spent time using a computer. For dinner Matthew had cheese oatcakes. After dinner Matthew went shopping. We walked onto Glebedale Road and onto City Road. We crossed over and went up to Victoria Place before heading down Victoria Road. Part way down we saw First Potteries 63172 on #6 to Meir.

We carried on down the road and we went into Aldi. Matthew did his weekly shop for the day service and then they set off back to the unit. We set off back up Victoria Road and then turned right into Manor Street. We crossed over City Road and then went along Christchurch Street and to our destination. After putting the shopping away it was time to go back to respite. We climbed aboard Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set of out of Glebedale and right onto City Road and up into Longton along King Street. We carried on forwards onto Market Street and then left onto Anchor Road. At the top of Anchor Road we turned left onto Dividy Road and into Bentilee. We got back to the unit around 15:00. Matthew went up to his room whilst he waited for tea. Whilst he was waiting he watched the other buses coming and going. On of the arrivals was Free Spirits Ford minibus MV05 YMM.

A short while later we saw Allendale PN07 BHJ.

For tea this evening Matthew was going out to the pub. The taxi arrived and it was Roseville minibus WF11 WHC. We set off onto Dividy Road and through Adderley Green towards park Hall. We turned right onto Glandore Road and left onto Carberry Way. We turned left onto Weston Coyney road and right onto the A520. At Meir across the main roundabout and then right onto Grosvenor Road. We followed the road forwards onto Meir Road and when we got to the roundabout we went right before going into the New florence pub. Matthew used the toilet and then had a drink of Coke. For tea Matthew had an All Day Big Breakfast washed down with Coke. For afters he had Chocolate Fudge Cake with ice cream. When he had finished eating they returned to Bentilee in Roseville minibus WF11 WHC. We set off back onto Meir Road and then we turned right onto Upper Normacott Road and across the A50. We joined Uttoxeter Road and then onto Sutherland Road and Weston Coyney Road. We cut through the housing estate and we joined Anchor Road off Amiston Street. At the top of Anchor Road we turned left and we headed to the unit in Bentilee. When Matthew got back he watched telly and chilled out in his room. Later on he had a bath and then had some toast for supper. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark
