Trip to Hanley / Trent Vale 31-07-2026

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus and to visit Stafford. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We saw Shelton Care Group YP70 JYJ outside. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. We continued along Christchurch Street. We onto City Road. At the top we crossed over Victoria Road to wait for the bus at the bus stop. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was dud First Potteries 35947 on a #6 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off down Victoria Road and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We got up and got off the bus at the top of John Street. We walked down John Street and we crossed over Bethesda Street. We turned right onto Albion Street and we crossed over the road onto Old Hall Street past the site of the old bus station which has now been almost completely demolished. We turned onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace and we crossed over the ring road and we continued down Lichfield Street. We continued to the the chip shop and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. Afterwards we crossed over the ring road and headed up to Birch Terrace, We crossed over Lichfield Street and into the bus station to see what we might catch. Whilst we waited we saw Stantons of Stoke VT63 SOS on a #58 Etruria Vale circular service. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. Afterwards we saw First Potteries 67155 on a #18 to Leek. We considered catching the First Bus and we pulled on and off stand before we could get to it. We saw it was First Potteries 67178 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we got in car. We set off down Victoria Road and we turned right onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto Baker Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and right onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street. At Heron Cross we went Eastwards along the A50 to Longton where we came off onto baths Road. In Longton Interchange. We turned right onto Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We turned right onto Sutherland Street. We turned right onto Weston Coyney Road and. We turned left onto the A520 and we stormed up to Cellarhead. We went across the crossroad and forwards into Wetley Rocks. We through Cheddleton and Leek Brook. We ran through Compton and we turned right onto the A53. We followed the A53 through town and we turned right and headed out of town. As we travelled through Blackshaw Moor and we got out of the car and we walked around the A53. We past the former North Staffordshire army camp site which is going to be a new homes, retail. We stopped at the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we got in car. We set off onto the A53 and we continued into Leek and we ran past Lidl. We turned left onto Ball Haye Street and we ran onto the A53 and we ran Southwards out of town. We climbed up the hill towards Ladderedge and we ran down the other side into Longsdon. We continued Southwards through Endon. We ran down through Stockton Brook into Badderley Green. We continued South to Sneyd Green and onto the A53 to Cobridge past the site of a new Wrights Pies. At the lights we turned left onto Waterloo Road. We ran down to the ring Road and then we ran around Hanley before going onto Lichfield Street. We ran down to Joiners Square and we continued onto Victoria Road past the fromer pub. We ran up to the top and we turned sharp right onto City Road. We ran down to Smithpool Road and we turned left. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs Matthew went up to his room to chill out and use the computer. Later on we went out for tea on the bus. We went downstairs and we set off on foot to the bus stop. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. We continued up City Road and we stood at the bus stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus to Hanley. Whilst we waited we saw white minibus GN54 BVF. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63111 on a #11 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked around the corner onto Campbell Place to wait for a bus to Trentham. A few minutes later we saw a bus come around the corner. It was First Potteries 67154 on a #21 to Trentham.

We got on the bus and we booked to Trentham before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Campbell Place and forwards onto London Road. We continued through Oakhill and past the former Oakhill pub. We ran into Trent Vale and at the end of London Road we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw RR Travel MM72 ZMY. We went into the pub and Matthew had a mixed grill washed down with a glass of Coke. For afters matthew had a cheesecake with custard. Once we had finished eating we set off We carried on along the A34. We turned left onto the Northbound A500. We veered left onto Wheildon Road and past the former Regent pub which is now up for sale. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit and went upstairs with some cake. Matthew went to his room to chill out and use his computer. Matthew looked at buses on the Internet and watched the television. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going on the bus later on. He was also going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 09:00 and had toast and juice for breakfast. He chilled out in his room and watched buses out of the windown until it was time to go out. Whilst we waited to go out we saw City Centre Central PO14 OKZ. Whilst we waited to go out we went downstairs and onto Temple Street. We turned cut through onto City Road and we headed towards the bus stop. On the way we saw Afford rent-a-car WR75 BWM parked up at their garage.

We waited for a bus to Hanley. The bus turned the corner and we saw it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off up Lichfield Street. We turned righ onto Old Hall Street anbd we went into B&M. Matthew did some shopping and we crossed over the road onto Old Hall Street past the site of the old bus station which has now been almost completely demolished. We turned onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace and we crossed over the ring road and we continued down Lichfield Street. We continued to the the chip shop and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. Afterwards we crossed over the ring road and headed up to Birch Terrace, We crossed over Lichfield Street and into the bus station to see what we might catch. Whilst we waited we saw Stantons of Stoke 8701 VT on a #19 to Sneyd Green. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. Afterwards we saw First Potteries 37430 on a #25 to Keele. We considered catching the First Bus and we pulled on and off stand before we could get to it. We saw it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 we ran under the railway line onto City Road. We ran up the hill and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. When we got to Albert Square we got up and got off the bus. We then walked back to the residential unit. we went upstairs and chilled out in his room. Hr used his computer and watched buses out of the window. We went downstairs and got in the car we set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto City Road. We ran down the hiull into Stoke and we went under the railway line. We crossed over the the A500 and we joined the Northbound carriageway and we headed up to Longport. We turned onto the roundabout at Longport and we turned right onto the A5271. At Trubshaw Cross we turned left into the right and onto Burslem. We turned left onto Westport Road and we visited the pub. There was an halloween party with chciken nuggets and sausages. Matthew alos had a glass of Coke. There was also an Halloween cake. We went to the toilet. Afterwards we went down Westport Road. Later on we returned to Fenton by car. We set off on to Westport Road and to the old NatWest bank which has new studio apartments. We re-joined the B5051 and we turned right onto the A50 and straight into Cobridge and we turned right onto on the A53 and past the site of Lidl. We past Festival Park and we headed up to Etruria. We joined the Southbound A500 and we ran down to Stoke where we came off. We turned left onto City Road and we ran under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew we to a Halloween gingerbread man and drank a glass of Coke. He also played with the other service user and did Halloween stuff. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in respite and he was going into his day service. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After breakfast Matthew waited in his room for his transport to appear. Thery were still doing building work in the respite building. Whilst waiting we saw Stantons of Stoke minibus WR58 LHY.

A few minutes later Matthew transport appeared... It was Shelton Care Group silver minibus DY08 FFX.

we got on the bus and we set off onto the A5272. We ran through Bentilee onto the A52 at Bucknall. At the junction we followed the A52 to the left. We turned left at joiners Sqaure and we ran to the top of Victoria Road before we turned sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. We went out and we walked down to Christchurch Street and across City Road onto Manor Street. At the end we turned left and we walked down Victoria Road to the next bus station. A few minutes later the bus to Hanley appeared and it was dud First Potteries 63177. We got on the bus and we sat down. The bus set off down Victoria Road and we crossed onto Lichfield Street at Joiners Square. We climbed the hill and we crossed over the ring road to the stops outside the bus station where the bus emptied out. We saw First Potteries 66962 on a #3 to Crewe. We went into the bus station and we waited for the next bus to Market Drayton. A few minutes later required Arriva Midlands 3695 appeared on the #164 service. We got on the bus and we flashed the bus pass to the driver before we sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we ran down to Bethesda Street. We turned left onto Broad Street and we ran down the hill over the ring Road and onto Stoke Road. We ran near to the railway station and we crossed over the A500 before we got on to it. We ran North to Shelton New Road and we headed to the top of Hartshill before dropping down into Newcastle along George Street. After stoping in the bus station we continued on our journey onto barrack Street and onto the Northbound A34. We turned left onto the A53 and we ran out into the open Countryside through Whitmore and Bladwin's Gate. On the other side of the village we left the A53 and we ran down to Slater's Village at Chorlton Hill. We joined the Westbound A51 and we ran up to the Swan With Two Necks where we turned onto the A53. Further South we came off the A52 again and we ran through Ashley and Ashley Heath before rejoining the A53 at Loggerheads. We continued along the A53 and on the edge of Market Drayton we turned onto Newcastle Road and we ran into the town centre. We ran around the one way system and we pulled into the small bus station. At the bus station we saw D&G 41 which was going to work the #75 to Nantwich. For dinner Matthew went to the Tudor Bar. Matthew went to the toilet and when he came back he had a breakfast washed down with a glass of Coke. After eating e returned to the bus station to wait for the bus back to Hanley. A short while later the bus turned up and it was required Arriva Midlands 3698. We got on the bus and we flashed the bus pass at the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off on to the one way system and we we joined Newcastle Road. We ran out of town onto the A53 and we ran North. we passed Arriva Midlands 3699 going the other way. We ran through Loggerheads, Ashley Heath, Ashley and we rejoined the A51 to run up to Slater's village. We traveled North up Woodside and we rejoined the Eastbound A53. We ran through Baldwins Gate and Whitmore and we ran through Clayton and into Newcastle. We ran around twn via the A34 and Barracks Street and we went into the bus station. We then carried on out of Necastle up the A52 as far as Harshill where we turned left onto Shelton New Road. We ran down as far as the A500 where we went North to Stoke Road. We crossed under the railway and we passed close to the station and we ran up to Hanley via Stoke Road. We joined the ring road and we ran around to Bethesda Street. We ran into the bus station up John Street. Once off the bus we went outside to the stop for the #6 service. A few minutes later we were surprised to see dud First Potteries 32627 on the #6A to Blythe Bridge. We got on the bus and we went upstairs. The bus set off from outside the bus station onto Birch Terrace where they are building a new shopping centre. We followed the road around to Charles Street and then right onto Old Hall Street. We joined the ring road and we ran around to Lichfield Street. We ran down to Joiners Square and we crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. At the top of the hill we got off the bus and Matthew walked back to the day cenrtre down City Road. When it was time to go bak to respite we got on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX for the journey back. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and we joined the Southbound A500 which we did to Hanford. We came off the D road onto the A34 and we ran South to Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035 and then left again onto New Inn Lane. After dropping off another service user we returned onto the A5035 and we ran through hem Heath and Dresden into Longton. We crossed the A50 and we ran up to Anchor Road via Chadwick Street, Bridgewood Street and Forrister Street. We ran up Anchor Road to Adderley Green and we turned left onto the A5272. We ran into Bentilee and to the repite home. When Matthew got back he had tea chicken and potatoes followed by triffle. In the evening Matthew went out to the Co-op store. We set off onto the A5272 ans we ran down to Beverley Drive. We ran back Rast along Ubberley Drive and we stopped to go in the Co-op. Whilst in the shop Matthew had a can of Coke and some chocolate. We returned back down Ubberly Drive and back via Deverley Drive and the A5272. For the rest of the evening Matthew spent time watching television. Later he had a bath and then had toast for supper. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in respite and he was going to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. Recently the respite place has had new windows, and they are still carrying out refurbishments inside the building. Whilst waiting for his transport we were looking out of the window to see what other buses appeared to take other service users out for the day. One bus that turned up was Stanton's of Stoke minibus CN09 CJE.

A few minutes Matthew's transport appeared and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We went downstairs to catch the bus, and we also saw Jayjay's Travel YM61 PUA.

We got on Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU and we we set off onto Dividy Road we saw grey minibus YJ14 COU on the adjacent side road. We carried on past Adderley Green were we saw First Potteries 42894. We went straight over the roundabout and past Park Hall into Weston Coyney. At the lights we turned right onto the A520 and down into Meir. We turned into Leasowe Road and we ran into the Meir estate to pick up another service user. After picking then up we traveled up Stanton Road and back onto the A520. In the centre of Meir we turned right at the roundabout and onto the Westbound A50. We ran down through Longton cutting and to Heron Cross were we came off and onto Blurton Road. Having gone through the centre of Heron Cross we went straight onto Heron Street and over the railway line on station Bridge Road. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and to our destination. In the morning Matthew spent time in the sensory room and using the computers. For dinner Matthew had cheese oatcakes. After dinner Matthew was going to the YMCA for a session on the climbing wall. For the trip we got back aboard Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. At the roundabout we turned sharp left onto Victoria Road and we headed down to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we went straight on and onto Lichfield Road. Just before Hanley we turned left onto Regents Road and left again onto Harding Road. We turned into the YMCA and we got off the bus. Outside the YMCA we saw City Cabs minibus GN08 DCZ.

Matthew went into the YMCA, but he wasn't too interesting in participated in the wall climbing so he chilled out with the staff members :) He played basketball and he also brought a Haribo Starmix from the Spar Shop. When it was time to go we got back on board Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Hardings Street and right onto Regents Road. At the end we turned right onto Lichfield Street. Before we got to Joiners Square roundabout we turned left onto Westmill Street and left again onto the A52. At limekiln Banks we followed the A52 to the right and we saw First Potteries 41497 on #5 to Hanley. We turned right again onto the A5272 and we ran up to Bentilee and to the respite centre. Matthew went upstairs ans spent some time in his room before tea watching buses. We saw Scraggs Blue Buses 8416 VT dropping off some other service users.

In the evening Matthew had sandwiches for tea followed by apple crumble and custard. after tea Matthew played PS4 game uncharted 4 and watched some television. Just before bedtime Matthew had a bath and put on his pyjamas. for supper he had some toast and Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

The bus set off onto the A5035 and left towards Longton. We crossed the A50 and we went down the Stand before turning right onto Market Street. We turned left onto Anchor Road and up to the Adderley Green. We turned left towards Bentille and we went to the respite unit to pick up another service user. We then headed back to Adderley Green. We turned right onto Anchor Road and near to the bottom we turned right again onto Upper Cross Street. We worked our way through the back Streets and onto King Street. We carried on into Fenton and onto City Road before turning left into Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew went into the sensory and spent time using a computer. We went to fetch dinner from the chip shop. For dinner he had sausage chips and gravy from the chips shop. In the afternoon we went to the pub in a Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we went Straight across City Road onto Fountain Street. We turned left onto William Street and right onto Manor Street before going right again onto Victoria Road. As short way down the road we turned right into Fenton Industrial Estate along Dewsbury Road. We turned around and we went back onto Victoria Road and onto Manor Street again. We turned left onto City Road and at the bottom near to the railway we went right onto the A52. We went past the railway station along Station Road and then right onto College Road. We followed the Road up and onto Regent Road. we saw GHA single decker N8 GHA on layover waiting for the return X81 to Winsford. We carried on to the end and then right onto Lichfield road and to our destination. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a drink of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 63177 on the #6 to Meir.

Matthew listened to the Jukebox with tracks including Duran Duran, Elton John and Eagles. When it was time to leave we got back aboard Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off Up Lichfield Street and then left onto Regent Road. We continued onto College Road and then then left onto Station Road. At the traffic light we went forwards onto the A52 and then left onto City Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street. At the end of Temple Street we turned right Christchurch Street and then to our destination. After a short break we went onto Bentilee to drop off another service user. We went onto Glebedale Road and then right onto City Road. We continued straight onto King Street before turning left onto Clarence Road. We weaved through the back streets on Longton and we joined Anchor Road along Wood Street. At the top of Adderley Green we went left towards Bentilee and we dropped off the service user. We returned through Bentilee and we saw Scraggs YJ05 JXS new to Scraggs on a #80 to Bentilee. We went to Adderley Green and back down Anchor Road into Longton and around the one way system. We crossed over the A50 and onto the A5035. We turned right onto Ripon Road and onto Finstock Avenue before getting home around 15:00. When Matthew got home he had toast and cherryade whilst we waited for time before we went out. Today we decided to go on the 16:30 service towards Newcastle. We set off around 16:25... We were a little late today. It was raining heavily when we set off. We walked to the stop all the way over on Magdalen Road and as we approached the stop the bus rounded the corner. We turned to see it was required First Potteries 53405.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road. Matthew honked the horn on this Solo... We sat down towards the back of the bus and we set off towards the A5035. As the bus in front was nearly empty, Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 53405.

We turned right onto the A5035 and we crossed the railway line into Trentham. It was raining hard now and we had to shut the window as we were getting soaked by rain! We turned right into New Inn Lane and we went into Hanford. We went down Church Lane ane we joined the Northbound A34. We crossed under the A500 and into Trent Vale and when the bus bus turned right, we got up and got off the bus opposite Alder Walk. We set of back down Harpfields Road and we saw First Potteries 60069 on a #22 to Longton. We joined the A34 and near to the pub we saw First Potteries 53120 on the following #22 to Longton.

We stood outside the pub for a few minutes not realising that mum was already in the car park. We walked with mum into the pub and we sat down near to window... Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses were ABC Supreme BV51 BNZ / P881 RND on a staff shuttles and Stanton's of Stoke YKZ 6759 going Northwards. After we had finished eating we went to the car and Matthew called uncle Dave to tell him we were on the way. We saw ABC Supreme BV51 BNZ going Northwards toeards the hospital. We set off down the A34 and we went onto the Northbound A500. The A500 was busy, but only on the junction towards the A50. We went straight past Sideway and towards the Stoke turning. We saw GHA coach YN54 OAU and D&G 157 on the X14 to Trentham Gardens. At Stoke we headed back into Fenton. After picking uncle Dave up we went back up to Heron Cross and we saw First Potteries 53058 on a #23A and Copeland's Tours MIB 536. We turned right at the traffic lights and over the A50 into Blurton. We travelled through Blurton along Blurton Road were we passed First Potteries 53208. Today Matthew was in respite and he was going into his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. The bus came to pick Matthew up for his day service. When it appeared it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Dividy Road. We went up to Adderley Green and we turned right onto Anchor Road. We followed the one way system around Longton and we crossed over the A50 before going along the the high level Road. We joined the A50 and we came off again at Heron Cross. We turned right on the second roundabout and through the traffic Lights onto Heron Street. We continued forwards onto Station Bridge Road and then we turn left onto Christchurch Street before reaching our destination. In the morning Matthew went in the sensory room and used the computers. For dinner Matthew had Potato Waffles and chips followed by cake. After dinner Matthew was going to the YMCA. His transport for that journey was Shelton Care Group BU05 EWX. We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Glebedale Road. We turned left onto City Road and we went down the hill towards the railway before turning right onto the A52. We went forwards onto Station Road and then right onto Stoke Road. We stopped at the petrol station and we saw Intercity YK07 NYX. Once we had filled up we went left onto Stoke Road and right onto Avenue Road. We turned left onto College Road and we continued onto Regent Road before we turned right Harding Road. We parked up at the YMCA and Matthew got a picture of Shelton Care Group BU05 EWX.

At the YMCA Matthew played football and generally chilled out. When it was time to go we got back aboard Shelton Care Group BU05 EWX. We got onto College Road and we headed towards the railway station. We went past the railway station along Station Road and left onto the A52. At Joiners Square we crossed the roundabout and continued along the A52. At Limekiln Bank we turned right and carried on along the A52 and we saw Stanton's of Stoke GN57 MFZ going to Blackfriars college. We went as far as the Esso petrol station where we turned right onto the A5272. We went right the way up to the Wagon and Horses roundabout and we did a u turn and we went back down Dividy Road to respite. Once we got there Matthew got off the bus and we saw Stanton's of Stoke KN61 EYG.

Matthew went for a ride up to a soft play area in Hanley. The transport turned up and it was Stanton's of Stoke BX07 NWB. We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Dividy Road. We traveled down to the A52 and we turned left. At Limekiln Bank we went straight on and up toward Hanley. We went around the ring road Clockwise as far as Etruria Road and then we turned left and went under the A53 into festival park. We went to the end of Festival Way and then turned around. We went back under the A53 and back onto Etruria Road before arriving at the destination. When we got there Matthew went to the toilet. After spending some time in the soft play area they got back on Stanton's of Stoke BX07 NWB for the return journey. We set off back onto Etruria road and then we turned left onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We around around to Limekiln Bank and then we went down the hill to Bucknall. We continued straight onto the A52 and then right onto Dividy Road. We went into Bentilee and to our destination. Matthew went inside and went upstairs. For tea Matthew had potatoes followed by apple crumble and custard. Matthew chilled out watching television and using his computer. Later on he had a bath and went bed around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

As we were about to get onto the bus we spotted a coach in the distance. It was Barratt's of Nantwich N9 BUS.

We got on the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. We went over the railway line into Trentham before turning at New Inn Lane. We turned into Pacific Drive and we picked up another service user before going back onto New Inn Lane. We returned along A5035 before turning left into Church Road and forwards onto Blurton Road and we carried on to Heron Cross. We turned right to go through the traffic lights and onto Heron Street. After crossing over the railway we turned left onto Christchurch Street before reaching our destination. In the morning Matthew went into the sensory and spent time using a computer. We went to fetch dinner from the chip shop. For dinner he had sausage chips and gravy from the chips shop. In the afternoon we went to the pub in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off onto Glebedale Road and straight onto Fountain Street. We turned left onto William Street and then left onto Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and down to Joiners square. At the roundabout we went straight onto Lichfield Street and to the pub. Before going into the pub we saw First Potteries 63174 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

We went into the pub and Matthew used the toilet before having a glass of Coke. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63176 on a #6 to Meir.

Matthew continued to listen to music on the Jukebox including Alison Moyet. When it was time to go they waited outside for the taxi. Whilst waiting we saw Robin Hood mini coach YX07 GYG turn into the street.

The taxi came and it was a Lucky Seven taxi. We got in the taxi, and we went down Lichfield Street and forwards onto Victoria Road. On Victoria Road we went to the top turning sharp right onto City Road. We turned left into Glebedale Road and to our destination. After a brief stop at the day centre, we got on the bus home which today was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and forwards onto Station Bridge Road and Heron Street. In Heron Cross we went straight across onto Blurton Road and over the A50. We carried on into Blurton along Blurton Road and forward onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Road getting home just before 15:00 and we saw First Potteries 50296 on the #22 to Longton. When Matthew got home he had toast and cherryade whilst we waited for time before we went out. Today we decided to go on the 16:30 service towards Newcastle. We set off around 16:15 and we were leaving the house when we saw First Potteries 60175 going towards Newcastle. A quick check of the phone revealed that it couldn't have been the bus we went to catch as it would have to travel from Longton in 4 minutes! It was the bus before running approximately 20 minutes late. We stood at the stop and sure enough a few minutes later and bang on time we saw dud First Potteries 65706.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road. The bus was completely empty and Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 65706.

We sat down and the bus set off onto the A5035. We crossed the railway line into Trentham and we turned right onto New Inn Lane. We entered Hanford and we passed required First Potteries 42552 on the 3rd #22 turn going towards Longton. We went down Church Lane and near to the bottom we passed First Potteries 53119 on a #21A to Trentham Gardens. We joined the A34 and we went under the A500 into Trent Vale. when we got to Harpfields Road we turned right and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 65706 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

As we walked onto the A34 we saw First Potteries 65035 going Northwards. Mum texted to us that she had been delayed as the car battery was flat. We sat on the wall to wait for her and we saw Stanton's of Stoke ONZ 1128 going Northwards. Just as she got to us, we saw First Potteries 65004 on a #10 to Stafford.

We walked with mum into the pub and we sat down near to the door. Our usual tables weren't available... Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses were ABC Supreme N806 CRJ on a staff shuttle. After we had finished eating we went to the car and Matthew called uncle Dave to tell him we were on the way. We set off down the A34 and we went onto the Northbound A500. At Sideway we went Eastwards on the A50. We headed though Heron Cross and into Fenton. After picking uncle Dave up we went back up to Heron Cross and over the A50 into Blurton. We travelled through Blurton along Blurton Road and Church Road and we passed First Potteries 53122 on a #23 to Hanley. We turned into Beaconsfield Drive and we got home just after 18:00. Matthew listened to music on the Jukebox including Deborah Harry, Westlife and Alison Moyet. When they were ready to go they went outside to the car park. In the car park was Shelton Care Group NL61 VSG.

The bus set off onto Palmeston Road and then we turned right onto the A52. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we turned right onto Manor Street. At the end of manor Street we turned left onto City Road and then left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. After a quick stop we got back onto Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX for the journey back home. The bus set off onto Glebedale Road and we continued onto Station Bridge Road. We carried on forwards onto Heron Street and across the light at Heron Cross. We crossed the A50 and then through Blurton along Blurton Road and forwards onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and then we got home around 15:00. When Matthew got home he had some toast and some cherryade. We decided to catch the 16:30 through Blurton, so we set off to the bus stop around 16:15. We waited at the stop for a short while and we saw dud First Potteries 42554 come around the corner.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfield Road. The bus set off onto the A5035 and we passed First Potteries 53830 on a #22 service. We crossed over the railway into Trentham and we passed Scraggs minibus 1655 VT going the other way. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we passed First Potteries 41493 coming the other way on a #22. We went into Hanford and we we passed First Potteries 40367 on a #21A to Trentham Gardens. We went down the hill and we joined onto the A34. We crossed under the A500 into Trent Vale and we saw First Potteries 53059 on a #21 to Trentham. The bus turned right into Harpfield Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 42554 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We turned and we saw Stoke on Trent welfare bus FJ59 GKA behind us. We crossed the road and we headed back to the A34. We walked to the pub and mum was already waiting for us. Whilst we waited for the food to be brought out we saw required First Potteries 42356 which was a mere 10 minites behind the bus that we caught... Presumably the 16:14 running a few minutes late. We must have been on the bus before that was running close to 30 minutes late! Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses were First Potteries 65040 on a #10 to Stafford and Stanton's of Stoke ONZ 1128 Northwards. After we had finished eating we went to the car and Matthew called uncle Dave to tell him we were on the way. We set off down the A34. We went onto the Northbound A500 where we saw a couple of minibuses as well as a Freeway coach going Northwards and a Solous Coaches coach Going South. We came off the A500 at Stoke and we did a 180' up the A500 and into Fenton. After picking uncle Dave up we went back up to Heron Cross. We stopped at the temporary lights and the traffic wasn't moving. In front of us was First Potteries 53209 also stuck in the traffic. There was a turned just in front of us so we decided to turn around and go back. We went back down to Smithpool Road and we weaved our way through Fenton and City Road before taking the A50 link Road up to Heron Cross. We travelled through Blurton and we stopped at the shop to say hello to friends. After a brief stop we carried on along Blurton Road and Church Road and we turned onto the A5035 and we saw First Potteries 53118 running out of service. We got home at 18:20. Matthew later ate some toffee cheesecake and then chilled out on his computer until bedtime around 23:30... Mark

We went up the hill through Shelton and we turned onto Shelton New Road at Snow Hill. We stopped at the other daycare centre to drop somebody off and then we carried on to the pub. We headed down Cemetery Road and onto Stoke Road via Caledonia Road. We turned left and went through Snow hill before turning right onto College Road. We turned left onto Regent Street and we went to Lichfield Street and turned right. At the pub Matthew went to the toilet and had a drink of Coke. Whilst at the pub we saw a number of interesting buses including First Potteries 63098 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

Matthew socialised and listened to the Jukebox, one of the songs playing was Hotel California by the Eagles. When it was time to go we got back aboard Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We got on the bus and We headed down Lichfield Street and Straight onto Victoria Road. On Victoria Road we went to the top turning sharp right onto City Road. We turned left into Glebedale Road and to our destination. After a brief stop at the day centre, we got on the bus home which today was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and forwards onto Station Bridge Road and Heron Street. In Heron Cross we went straight across onto Blurton Road and over the A50. We carried on into Blurton along Blurton Road and forward onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Road getting home just before 15:00. As I was attending an appointment Matthew was met off the bus by uncle Dave. Whilst they waited for me to return Matthew had toast and a drink of orangeade. I got back a little after 16:10. Around 16:20 we set off on foot to the stop all the way over on Magdalen Road. Today the bus was bang on time and it turned the corner and it was required First Potteries Solo 53063.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road. Matthew misbehaved and honked the horn on the bus... The bus set off onto the A5035 and We crossed over the railway line and into Trentham. The bus emptied a little and Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 53063.

As we turned into New Inn Lane we passed First Potteries 60174 on the following #22 to Longton. We carried on up New Inn Lane and we turned into Wilson Road and into Hanford. We passed First Potteries 53830 on a #21 to the Trentham Hotel and we turned left onto Church Lane. Near the bottom of Church lane we passed First Potteries 53405 on a #21A to Trentham Gardens. We joined the A34 and we went under the A500 into Trent Vale. We passed First Potteries 65035 on a #10 to Stafford and we turned right into Harpfield Road. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew got another picture of First Potteries 53063 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We got to the pub before mum today. Whilst we waited for her we saw City cabs SF58 UBZ going South on the A34.

Mum turned up and we went into the pub. Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. We also saw Stafford Coaches CNZ 3828 going South down the A34. After we had finished eating we went to the car. We already had uncle Dave with us, so we set off towards Home. We had to drop something off in Hanford on the way... We set off down the A34 and under the A500 into Hanford. We turned up Churcg Lane and at the top we turned left into Wilson Road. We turned left into Kings Road and we turned into a side street whilst mum dropped off some paper for a local school that has been forced out of the classroom by problems in the school building. We headed back onto Wilson Road and we joined onto New Inn Lane. At the end of New Inn Lane we turned left into the A5035. We got home around 18:20. Matthew then chilled out on his computer playing Cookie Jam and watching television before bedtime around 23:30... Mark
