Today Matthew was in respite and was going to his day service. Matthew got up at 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting for the bus turn up Matthew watch the bus arrive at the side gate. We saw Free Spirits blue Ford minibus MV05 YMM.

A few minutes later we saw Stanton's of Stoke Mercedes minibus GN57 MFZ.

A few minutes later Matthew's ride to the day centre appeared... It was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and the bus set off along the A5272 towards Adderley Green. We turned right onto Anchor Road and we ran to near the bottom we turned right and weaved our way through to King Street. We turned right onto King Street and we ran down through Fenton. We went forwards onto City Road and we turned left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew went to Aldi to buy ingredient for his cooking later on. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we crossed over City Road and walked onto Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we walked down to the supermarket. After doing his shopping, Matthew did an Intercity taxi to Shelton. We set off down Victoria Road and across the roundabout onto Lichfield Street. We turned left onto regent Road and we followed the road around onto College Road. We turned right onto Wellesley Street and at snow Hill we went forwards onto Shelton New Road. At the day centre Matthew used the toilet and then helped to cook his dinner, which was chicken burger with bacon & cheese. When it was time to go Matthew got a taxi back to Fenton... It was intercity taxi minibus SJ04 EVN. We set off onto Shelton New Road and we went down Cemetery Road on to Stoke Road. We turned left onto Station Road and we went forwards onto the A52. We followed the railway line Southwards and we turned left onto City Road. We went up the hill and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple street and then right onto Christchurch Street and to our destination. In the afternoon Matthew spent time on the computer. When it was time to go back to respite, Matthew climbed aboard Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street and we went across the the traffic lights. We turned left onto the A50 and we ran Eastwards up to Longton. Once off the A50 we turned left onto Baths road and past Longton Transport Interchange. We ran forwards onto market Street and then we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up to the top of the road and we turned left onto the A5272. we ran up to the repite place and once off the bus, Matthew got a picture of Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

Matthew went upstairs and we saw First Potteries 32081 on a #26 to Hanley. We also saw Stoke-on-Trent city council FJ05 EKO dropping off some other service users.

We also saw Meadows new minibus DN65 XZK and then went for a ride. We set off onto the A5272 and we ran down to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 and we headed to Limekiln bank. We climbed the hill towards Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We ran around to broad Street and we went into town and we turned left onto Marsh Street. We ran up towards Hanley and we parked up. We walked up into town onto town Road and we went for MacDonalds. For tea Matthew had burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Matthew went to the toilet and then we walked back to the Meadows minibus DN65 XZK. We set off onto Quadrant Road and we ran onto Town Road. After crossing the ring road we joined the clockwise rind road and we ran around to Bucknall New Road. At the bottom of the hill we went forwards onto the A52. In bucknall we turned right onto the A5272 and we ran up to the respite unit. Back in respite Matthew watched television and then went on a bouncy castle. He then had a bath. Today Matthew was in respite and he was going into his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. The bus came to pick Matthew up for his day service. When it appeared it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Dividy Road. We went up to Adderley Green and we turned right onto Anchor Road. We followed the one way system around Longton and we crossed over the A50 before going along the the high level Road. We joined the A50 and we came off again at Heron Cross. We turned right on the second roundabout and through the traffic Lights onto Heron Street. We continued forwards onto Station Bridge Road and then we turn left onto Christchurch Street before reaching our destination. In the morning Matthew went in the sensory room and used the computers. For dinner Matthew had Potato Waffles and chips followed by cake. After dinner Matthew was going to the YMCA. His transport for that journey was Shelton Care Group BU05 EWX. We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Glebedale Road. We turned left onto City Road and we went down the hill towards the railway before turning right onto the A52. We went forwards onto Station Road and then right onto Stoke Road. We stopped at the petrol station and we saw Intercity YK07 NYX. Once we had filled up we went left onto Stoke Road and right onto Avenue Road. We turned left onto College Road and we continued onto Regent Road before we turned right Harding Road. We parked up at the YMCA and Matthew got a picture of Shelton Care Group BU05 EWX.

At the YMCA Matthew played football and generally chilled out. When it was time to go we got back aboard Shelton Care Group BU05 EWX. We got onto College Road and we headed towards the railway station. We went past the railway station along Station Road and left onto the A52. At Joiners Square we crossed the roundabout and continued along the A52. At Limekiln Bank we turned right and carried on along the A52 and we saw Stanton's of Stoke GN57 MFZ going to Blackfriars college. We went as far as the Esso petrol station where we turned right onto the A5272. We went right the way up to the Wagon and Horses roundabout and we did a u turn and we went back down Dividy Road to respite. Once we got there Matthew got off the bus and we saw Stanton's of Stoke KN61 EYG.

Matthew went for a ride up to a soft play area in Hanley. The transport turned up and it was Stanton's of Stoke BX07 NWB. We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Dividy Road. We traveled down to the A52 and we turned left. At Limekiln Bank we went straight on and up toward Hanley. We went around the ring road Clockwise as far as Etruria Road and then we turned left and went under the A53 into festival park. We went to the end of Festival Way and then turned around. We went back under the A53 and back onto Etruria Road before arriving at the destination. When we got there Matthew went to the toilet. After spending some time in the soft play area they got back on Stanton's of Stoke BX07 NWB for the return journey. We set off back onto Etruria road and then we turned left onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We around around to Limekiln Bank and then we went down the hill to Bucknall. We continued straight onto the A52 and then right onto Dividy Road. We went into Bentilee and to our destination. Matthew went inside and went upstairs. For tea Matthew had potatoes followed by apple crumble and custard. Matthew chilled out watching television and using his computer. Later on he had a bath and went bed around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was going to Shrewsbury. but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00. but not before he had been out with his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and blackcurrant juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX

We set off onto the A5035 and we headed into Trentham. We turned into New Inn Lane and then into Pacific Drive. Once we had picked up another service user we headed back onto New Inn Lane and the A5035. We headed along into Blurton and we turned into church Road. We carried on into Blurton Road and across the A50. We went through Heron Cross and onto Heron Street. Having crossed the railway line we carried on onto we turned left onto Christchurch Street before reaching our destination. morning Matthew went into the sensory and spent time using a computer all had used the exercise equipment. For dinner Matthew had pasta with tomato sauce followed by a Manchester Tart. In the afternoon we went to Central Forest Park for a walk. We went in Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. we set off onto Glebedale Road and then left onto City Road. We travelled down into Stoke and we turned right onto the A500. We went South to the A500 and we came off at Longport. As we traveled up to Trubshaw Cross we saw Roseville NA56 MWD at Texaco. At the roundabout we turned left and then turned into Westport Lake. At the lake we got out and went feed the ducks. Matthew also went to the visitor centre and used the toilet. When it was time to go everybody Coming back home we went on a tour of Stoke-on-Trent. We set off towards Trubshaw Cross and we went left up to Burslem, where we saw an unidentified ABC Supreme minibus and First Potteries 32054 on a #3 to Keele. We continued up Moorland Road to Smallthorne and we turned right to Sneyd Green. On the A5272 We travelled bacnk up the the A5272. We followed the road around to the left and at the entrance we went into the park. Whilst at the park we had a long walk and looked the the ducks as well as stopping at the cafe for a can of Coke. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses were First Potteries 41502 on a #8, saw D&G 171 on a #9 to Biddulph. and Stanton's of Stoke GN57 MFZ. Central Forest Park

When it was time to go we got back aboard Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We travelled towards Birches Head along the A5272 and then turned down Keelings Road through Northwood and onto Limekiln Bank. At the bottom of Limekiln bank we saw A1 Embassy minibus PE07 YNJ.

we turned right onto the A52. We did the A52 to Joiners Square before turning left onto the Victoria Road. We went to the top of Victoria Road and turned sharp right onto City Road. We turned into Glebedale Road and we stopped briefly at the day centre before continuing home. The bus went towards Heron Cross via Heron Street and through Blurton along Blurton Road. The bus turned into Beaconsfield Drive and we got home around 15:00. Matthew had some toast and a drink of cherryade before We set of onto the A5035 and we turned left onto Stanley Matthews Way. We joined the A50 We carried on own to the A500 which we did North to the A53 We got onto the A53 and we ran over the A500 into Etruria. We traveled through Cobridge and we turned left onto Sandbach Road and we climbed the hill to Smallthorne, In Smallthorne we went down vis Coseley Street and Croft Couurt. At the bottom of Ford Green Road we saw First Potteries 41495 going up the hill We returned uo to High Lane via Chetwynd Street, Brownley Road and Jupiter Street and we saw First Potteries 65033 on a 98 to Ball Green. We ran along the A5272 through Sneyd Green and we saw First Potteries 65041 on a #7B to Biddulph. We ran to Townsend and then we went on Town Road to the ring road. We ran around town to Lichfield Street and we went down the hill to Joiners Square. We ran up Victoria Road and we stopped at MacDonalds to pick up Matthew's food and we saw First Potteries 63099 on a #6 to Hanley. After we picked up the Food we ran up Victoria Road and we turned right onto the A50 link road. We ran to Heron Cross and we turned left onto Blurton Road We ran through Blurton along Blurton Road and we veered right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfied Drive. Today Matthew was going to get a new bus pass, but not before he had been out with his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and blackcurrant juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

Matthew needed his bus pass renewing so we drove down to the One Stop Shop in Stoke to get this done. We set of onto the A5035 and we turned left onto Stanley Matthews Way. We joined the A50 and we saw Woods tri-axle coach YS14 LHY heading East back towards Leicester. We followed the left hand lane around past the incinerator and we crossed the A500 and joined onto Campbell Road. In Stoke we joined the one way system and we parked in the car park behind the One Stop Shop on South Wolfe Street. Matthew said hello to a lady using the payment machine and then we got his bus pass sorted in less than 10 minutes. He used the toilet and then we decided to catch a bus home whilst mum drove the car back. We walked onto Church Street and onto Glebe Street where we saw First Potteries Solo 53122 being loaded onto the back of a low loader after a breakdown.

We stood at the stop for around 5 minutes and then we saw a Solo approaching. It was dud First Potteries 53209 on a #23 service to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Ladybank Grove before sitting down at the back of the bus. This was a bus that we have previously been on back in April 2013 from Blurton to Hanley. The bus set off onto Church Street and across the A500. We joined City Road and we went up to Christchurch Street and turned right into it. At the end of Christchurch Street we turned right onto Station Bridge Road. We went forwards onto Heron Street and we went through heron Cross and over the A50 onto Blurton Road. We passed First Potteries 41502 and we continued into Blurton and forwards onto Church Road. We turned into Beaconsfield Drive and at the end we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 53209 as it carried on towards Newstead.

We walked home getting back at the same time as mum got back in the car. Later in the evening we went to MacDonalds in Trent Vale. We set off onto the A5035 and we passed taxi minibus SE05 JHK in the layby opposite Crowcrofts Road. We continued into Trentham and we passed First Potteries 40028 on a #21B. At the A34 we turned right to go North. We crossed under the A500 and into Trent Vale. We turned into MacDonalds and we saw ABC Supreme FP53 ESU parked in the retail park. We collected the food from the drive in and we also saw Blue minibus YR11 CDK. We headed back down the A34 and we passed ABC Supreme N806 CRJ. We joined the A5035 at Trentham and we got home about 19:30... Matthew ate his food and drank his Coke and we then chilled out on the computer and writing the Blog until bedtime around 23:00... Mark
