Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus and it was New Years Eve. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Temple Street Church minibus RX18 GZW. Matthen went downstairs and set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and we visit the chip shop. Matthew brought the food and also picked up a can of Coke. After picking up the food Matthew returned to Temple Street and went back upstairs. For dinner Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. Afterwards Matthew had a cake. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street where we saw First Potteries 67143 on a #101 to Stafford. We got up and got off the bus. In the bus station we saw First Potteries 37158 on a KF to Uttoxeter. Once off the bus we walked up Lichfield Street and forwards onto Tontine Street. We had a walk around Tontine Square and we returned down Tontine Street and onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for the next bus to Bucknall. After a short while we saw First Potteries 69162 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton we sat down. We set off up set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we saw First Potteries 69148 on a #11 to Hanley. Once at the Causley Brook we went for a walk. We walked around the country Park and we stopped a few times to have a rest. Matthew climbed up to the top of a few of the hills. when we had finished we called for a walk towards Eaton Park. We set off onto foot onto William Birch Road and we saw Magnum PJ62 BKO. Afterwards Matthew returned to Fenton in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off along William Birch Road. We turned left onto Hoveringham Drive and we turned right onto Ajax Way and we saw silver minibus KX64 RNJ. We turned right onto Kettering Drive and we turned left onto Arbourfield Drive. We turned left onto Dividy Road. We ran towards Bucknall and we veered left Bucknall Road and we crossed the traffic lights onto Bucknall New Road. We ran up the hill into Hanley and at the lights we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran forwards onto Victoria Road. We turned right onto Manor Street and we ran to the end. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room. Out of the other window we saw Temple Street Church RX18 GZW.

We went downstairs and got into car we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street Church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Baker Street and left onto Glebedale Road. We turned right onto City Road and we continued onto King Street. We ran through Foley and under the railway Bridge into Longton. We ran forwards onto Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 67142 in the depot. We turned left onto the A5272 and we ran through Bentilee to Bucknall. We continued onto the A52 and we went straight across Limekiln Lights towards Hanley. We Veered right onto Keelings Drive and we passed white minibus YD64 NFM. We followed the A5272 North through Sneyd Green and at Smallthorne roundabouts we turned right onto Ford Green Road. We turned left onto Fell Street and right onto Coseley Street onto Duddell Road. We turned right onto Chell Heath Road and at the light we re-joined Ford Green Road. At the top of the hill we joined the Southbound A5272 and we saw Harry Shaw YN16 UAE. We ran through Sneyd Green to Birches Head where we saw First Potteries 65733 on a #7 to Kidsgrove. We ran forwards onto Town Road and we joined the clockwise ring Road and we ran around Hanley. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran down to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A52 and we ran towards Stoke railway station. We ran alongside the railway line and we turne left onto City Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room for a while. Later on Matthew attended a new Years Eve party. We went downstairs and the main lounge was filled with food. Matthew ate egg sandwiches and a burger followed by lots of cake! He also drank a bottle of Coke. Matthew stayed up until after midnight in order to see in the new year. Happy New Year 2022! Matthew went upstairs and we to bed around 00:30... Mark.

Today we decided to do a local trip. We checked the weather for today and it was for cold wet weather all day. I was also feeling a bit fragile as I had the Covid booster jab the day before. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast and for breakfast. We decided do catch the 12:00 departure towards Newcastle today. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. Whilst we waited for our bus we saw First Potteries 69162 on a #22 to Longton. A few minutes later our bus appeared and it was First Potteries 69155 on a #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and booked a Smart Day ticket at £5.30. This ticket is a multi-operator ticket valid throughout the North Staffordshire area. We sat down ear to the back of the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. We went past the Trentham Hotel we turned right into New Inn Lane where we saw First Potteries 67157 was on the #21 to Hanley. Assuming we didn't hang around too long, we would be on this bus to Stoke. We got up to get off the bus at the man in Space and Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 69155 before it carried on to Newcastle.

Once we got off the bus we waited at the bus stop for a couple of minutes. A couple of minutes later we saw the First Potteries. As expected it was First Potteries 67157 on the #21 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus travelled through Trentham up New Inn Lane, We passed the building site where new housing is being built. At the top of the hill we turned right into Hanford along Wilson Road. We ran down Mayne Street before joining the Northbound A34. As we joined the A34 we saw Dunwood coach YN18 XSZ heading Northwards. We crossed under the A500 and we saw First Potteries 67154 on #21 turn to Trentham. We turned onto London Road and we ran through Oak Hill past the former Oak Hill pub. We continued through the the West End before running into Stoke Town centre and Campbell Place. There was nothing of interest parked up in City cabs and we got up and got off the bus. We walked along Campbell Place and we crossed over the road. As we turned into Church Street we saw recent arrival D&G Bus 149 on a #9 to Westlands. We headed into Stoke Cafe. Uncle Dave escorted Matthew downstairs to the toilet and I ordered the food. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. After we had finished eating we walked down Church Street to the Newcastle bus stop. Opposite to the bus stop was First Potteries 32643 parked up on Church Street to sell tickets for the BET365 stadium shuttle.

We waited for the next bus to Newcastle. We didn't have to wait long before we saw a D&G bus approaching. As it glot closer we saw it was D&G Bus 119 on a #1A to Wood Lane.

We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Church Street and off up the hill along Hartshill Road. We passed the Noah's Ark pub and Just after the pub we turned left by the Co-operative Food store and we headed to the hospital. We bounced our way through the hospital grounds over the severe speed bumps and we joined the North bound A34. We went around the roundabout at the bottom end of Newcastle and we turned right onto Barracks Road before entering the bus station from the Southern end. Once off the bus we had a walk around to see what we co9uld catch and to take a few bus pivtures. We saw First Potteries 44514 on a #72A to Clayton.

Another vehcile seen was another one of the new arrivals at D&G. we saw D&G Bus 151 on a #9 to Biddulph.

A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 65733 arrive on a #22 from Longton. After dropping off the passengers it became the next #99 to Chell.

We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket on the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee roundabout onto the A527 and headed through Wolstanton. As we travelled North up the road we passed First Potteries 69155 on a #99 to Newcastle. We turned right onto Porthill Bank and we we went down the hill and over the A500. We went through Middleport and at Trubshaw Cross we went left onto Brownhills Road. We joined Tunstall High Street and at the top of the Road we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Pottereies 65733 before it continued on towards Chell Heath.

We went to Tunstall Cafe and Matthew used the toilet. Afterwards he had a can of Coke and a slice of chocolate cake with squirty cream. When we had finished we crossed the road and we waited for a bus back to Newcastle. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 32639 on a #3A to Talke. A few minutes later we saw a bus on the map heading towards Newcastle. It came around the corner and it was as expected D&G Bus 105 on a #94 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Smart Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down the High Street and forwards onto Brownhills Road. As we travelled down to Trubshaw Cross. We ran forwards along the A5271 through Longport and over the A500. We climbed up Porthill Banks and we turned right. We turned right onto Arnold Grove and we went past the cemetery. We turned left onto Bursley Way and then left onto Bradwell Lane. We turned right onto Hanbridge Avenue. We turned left onto Dimsdale Parade West and then right onto Hassam Parade. We turned left onto Wulstan Drive and we turned right onto the A527 into Newcastle. We crossed the Jubilee roundabout and we ran down Barracks Road and into the bus station from the North end. Once off the bus we took a few pictures whilst we waited for a bus to Hanley. We saw First Potteries 69148 on a #22 to Longton.

We got on the bus and we Smart Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the roundabout onto the A53 and we ran up and over into Etruria. We crossed the A500 and and we headed up to Festival Park. We left the A53 onto Forge Lane near to the site of the new link road to Wolstanton. We came back towards the A53 along Festival Way. We crossed under the A53 and we ran up Etruria Road and into Hanley. We continued onto trinity Street before turning right into Stafford Street and after a short wait we continued past the town hall onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. We then got up and got off the bus. Matthew used the toilet and then we walked over to the John Street. Whilst in the car park we saw First Potteries 67159 on a #7A to Biddulph.

Becasue it was cold we didn't stay in the car park for too long we saw First Potteries 65032 on a #18 to Leek. We walked back to the bus station and we visited the Spar shop. Matthew had a can of Coke and a few small chocolate bars. We headed down to the middle stands to wait for the next bus up to Biddulph. Whilst we waited Matthew ate the chocolate from a Kinder egg. A short time later the bus appeared and it was First Pottereus 67156 on a #7A to Biddulph.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Smart Day ticket to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus waited for time before setting off out of the bus station. We went down John Street and onto Bethesda Street before we went across onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Trinity Street. We turned left into Stafford Street and we continued forwards to Quadrant Road and we left Hanley along Town Road past the sight of the new Tesco Express store. We travelled through Sneyd Green and over Smallthorne roundabouts to Chell. At the roundabout we turned right and we ran down the A527 through Brindley Ford. We turned left to run through Brown Lees. We crossed over the A527 at Knypersley and we ran around through the housing estates of Biddulph before running into town via St John's Road, Colliers Way. We ran past the building site and we turned right up Wharf Road to the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67156 before it returned to Hanley on the next #7A.

WE walked down to the toilet but the toilet now closes at 16:00 on a winter evevning. We walked back up Wharf Road past the old bus station waiting room witch has been turned into a Christmas scene. We turned left onto the High Street and we continued down to the fast food shop. We brought a portion of fries between us and we returned to the bus stop to eat the fries and wait for the next bus back to Hanley. Matthew washed the fries down with a can of Coke. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 105 again on a #94 to Newcastle. A short time later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 69169 on a #7A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Smart Day ticket to the driver for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto the High Street and we turned left onto St Johns Road. We ran around the estate and onto Woodland Street. We crossed over the A527 at Knypersley. We ran through Brown Lees and we rejoined the A527 by the industrial estate. We ran down through Brindley Ford and to Fegg Hayes. We ran up the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran back through Smallthorne & Sneyd Green into Hanley. When we got up and got off the bus. WE visited the toilet and afterwards, we had arranged with mum to get meet up near to the bus station. As we walked through the bus station we saw D&G Bus 20 on a #16 to Leek.

We crossed over Lichfield Street and we crossed over the ring road and we met up with mum at the Venus Fish Bar. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished eating we got in the car and we went to Blurton. We set off onto Lichfiels Street and we ran down to Joiners Square. we turned right onto the A52 and as we ran towards Stoke we passed Stanton's of Stoke 82 HBC coming the other way. We ran alongside the railway line and we turned right onto City Road. We turned left to to towards the A500 and we veered left onto Whieldon Road. We dropped uncle Dave off and we continued up Whieldon Road and forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield and back to Blurton. Once back we wrote an e-mail and did the Blog. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus. DRC. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We ordered sausages and chips gravy and then we walked back along Smithpool Road and onto and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. Matthew went into the living room to have tea. Matthew ate his sausages and chips gravy followed by a Butterfly cake. We went downstairs to do his pub. We went to do the pub. transport for the trip was a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street and left onto Victoria Road. We headed down the hill and crossed over the roundabout at Joiners Square onto Lichfield Street and to our destination. Matthew went to the toilet and had a drink of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings at the pub included First Potteries 69163 on the #6 to Hanley. When it was time to returned to Fenton we travelled back in a car. We set off Palmerston Street and we turned right onto the A52. We continued along the A52 past the railway station We turned left onto City Road and right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street. When we got back to the residential unit Matthew went up to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window before going out for a drink. Matthew used his computer and watched buses out of the window. We saw Premier Travel YJ14 HHA.

Later on we went out on the bus to Hanley. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw blue minibus SF20 HHL.

We walked Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew chilled out in his room on his computer. his room to use his computer and watch buses whilst waiting for us to Hanley to go out for drink. Whilst waiting. After a short time we saw First Potteries 65733 on a #8 to Ball Green.

We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. We continued onto City Road and forwards onto King street we saw D&G Bus 115. We ran through Foley and under the railway line into Longton town centre. The bus stopped on Market Street and then we continued onto Uttoxeter Road. We ran through Normacot and then we joined the A50. We ran fast up to Meir and we came off the A50 onto Broadway. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A520 and we headed up the hill to Rough Close and we turned left onto Grindley Lane. We turned left onto Whitestone Road and then left onto Lysander Road. We ran around the Meir Park and we crossed over the A50 onto the A521. We ran into Blythe Bridge and we crossed over the railway line. We continued into the town centre and as we travelled we passed Harry Shaw YJ69 VLX. We continued into the town centre and we went under the railway line. we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we waited for someone to come and pick us up. We got in the car and we set off along Uttoxeter Road. We turned right onto the A521 and we ran forwards onto the Westbound A50. We ran through Meir into Longton. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross and we turned right onto the A50 link road. We turned left onto King Street and we ran forwards onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. For tea Matthew had sausages, chicken dippers, chips and beans followed by chocolate cake with custard. He watched television and used his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

A short time later we saw First Potteries 65733 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards Wolstanton. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 29 on a #9 to Westbury Park. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 44511 on a #98 to Ball Green. We got on the bus and we booked to Wolstanton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee roundabout onto the A527 and headed through Wolstanton and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked A527. We turned left onto the A527 and we ran down the hill into the retail park and we ran into Asda. After parking up we went in the supermarket. Matthew used the toilets and afterwards we went around and did the shopping. When we had finished we decided to go have dinner. We left the retail park and we joined the Southbound A500. We came off at Etruria and we went onto the Eastbound A53. We veered left onto Garner Street. We stopped at the food van by the builders yard and Matthew had a Cumberland sausage bap washed down with a can of Coke. once we had finished we got a taxi back to the residential unit. We set off along Garner Street and we turned right onto the A500. We headed South through Stoke and we turned left onto City Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. For dinner Matthew had a Cumberland sausage bap washed down with a can of Coke. Later on we went to Newcastle on the bus. We went downstairs and we set off on foot to the bus stop. Whilst we waited we saw green minibus GX54 EYR. past of the new housing being built on the site of the old outdoor market. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 21 on a E1 to Alton Towers.

We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road where we saw D&G Bus 27 on a #9 to Westbury Park. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street where we saw D&G Bus 20 on a #16 to Buxton. We turned right onto John Street and once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. We left the bus station and we walked up Lichfield Street and onto Tontine Street we walked through Tontine Square. We continued to the Intu Potteries shopping centre. We had a walk around the shops and afterwards we walked through Tontine Square onto Tontine Street. We walked onto Lichfield Street. We returned to Fenton in a Z Carz taxi. We set off down Lichfield Street and we ran down to Joiners Square. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran towards the railway station. We ran alongside the railway line and we turned left onto City Road and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. For tea matthew had chicken and chips. He used his computer and watched music videos on the Television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

We ran past Waterworld and we turned left onto Forge Lane past a new minibus building by the Brindley Farm pub. We looped under the A53 and we joined the Westbound A53. We crossed over the A500 at Etruria and and we ran up the hill into Basford. We ran down hill to the edge of Newcastle and we got onto the one way system. At the jubilee roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road before turning right into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and we set of up Castle Walk. We visited the card shop and claire's, and we turned right onto Ironmarket and we visited the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards and a glass of Coke. For dinner Matthew had a burger and fries followed by a chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Once we had finished in the pub we set off along Ironmarket and we turned left onto High Street. We turned left onto Hassell Street and we returned to the bus station. We waited for a bus back towards Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 65733 on a #4 to Hanley.

We crossed the Jubilee Roundabout and onto the A53. We ran into Basford and over the A500. We ran down into Etruria and over the A500. We continued along the A53 and we turned left onto Forge Lane. We ran out along the Lane and we crossed over the canal before we returned back into Etruria along festival Way. We crossed under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We ran onto the one-way system and we followed it onto Church Street. After crossing over the A500 we ran under the railway line onto City Road. We ran up the hill and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. When we got to Albert Square we got up and got off the bus. We then walked back to the residential unit. we went upstairs and chilled out in his room. Hr used his computer and watched buses out of the window. We saw A1 Embassy GJ17 OCR. Later on Matthew went downstairs. We set off onto City Road and we walked up to the Health Centre. We returned to the residential unit via the day centre. WE set off onto Glebedale Road and we stopped at the day centre before continuing onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Temple Street and returned to the residential unit. We went back upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. Later on Matthew went out to fetch some food. We set off onto City Road and we visit a take-away. Once we had the food we retirned to the residential unit. We set off onto City Road and we cut through onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. For tea Matthew had Half Pounder Plain Burger. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. After a short wait we saw D&G Bus 40 on a #40 to Longton. We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. At the end we turned right onto Station Bridge Road and we crossed over the railway line. We ran forwards Heron Street and we went through Heron Cross and over the A50. We ran into Blurton along Blurton Road and we turned left onto Longton Hall Road. We ran up the hill and we ran forwards onto Heathcote Street. We turned left onto the high level A50 and at the roundabout we turned right onto Baths Road. We ran past Tesco before turning right into Longton Interchange. Matthew let the bus empty out and took a picture inside D&G Bus 40 before we got off.

We stopped at Poundland and afterwards we went to the ping pong forum. Matthew had a game of table tennis. After we had played table tennis we walked out onto The Strand and onto Baths Road. Er continued to the Pheonix retail park and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had chicken nuggets and fries and a drink of Coke. After we had finished eating we went to Sandyford in a City Centre Central taxi. We set off onto Baths Road and the A50 and we headed West to Sideway. We joined the Northbound A500 and we ran through Stoke and Etruria. We continued past Longport and we joined the A527. We ran past the North end of Tunstall and we stopped to have a look at the new business park on James Brindley Way. We got out of the taxi and we had a look around. Once we had finished we returned to Fenton in a Intercity taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off along the A527. We ran down to the A500 and we joined the Southbound carriageway. We ran through Longport and Etruria and we came off the A500 at Stoke. We turned left onto the A52 and we went under the railway line. We ran forwards onto City Road and we ran into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to wait for me and uncle Dave to turn up. Whilst we waited for departure time we saw First Potteries 32647 on a #32 to Uttoxeter. We set off out of the bus station and we ran down John Street and left onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto the clockwise ring road and we turned left onto Broad Street. We ran down to snow hill and at the roundabout we turned Shelton New Road. We ran over the canal and railway line. We ran through the cross road up to Hartshill and at the roundabout we ran into Newcastle down George Street. We joined the one-way system and at the next roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road. We turned right into the bus station. After a brief stop we Continued onto Barracks Road and forwards onto the Southbound A34. We ran past the hospital into Trent Vale and under the A500 into Hanford. We continued into Trentham and when we got opposite to the old Trentham Gardens entrance we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed the road and we entered the gardens opposite to the A5035. We went into the actual gardens and we walked anti-clockwise around the lake. We walked to the Tea Room and we stopped for dinner. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a glass of Coke. Once we had finished eating we walked back through the main gate and onto the A34 opposite the A5035. We turned left and walked along the A34 to the old Gardens entrance where the bus stop is situated. We waited for a bus back towards Hanley. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 65026 on a #101 to Hanley.

We continued Northwards into Newcastle and past the hospital. At the roundabout we turned right onto barracks Road and into Newcastle bus station. After a brief stop we continued towards Hanley. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran forwards onto the one-way system. We continued onto the A52 and when we got to Hartshill we veered left onto Shelton New Road. We ran over the railway line and canal and we went up to Snow Hill. We turned left and ran up Broad Street. We turned right onto the ring road and left onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we ran up to the bus station. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 41502 on a #6 to Coalville.
