Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

The bus set off onto the A5035 and left towards Longton. We crossed the A50 and we went down the Stand before turning right onto Market Street. We turned left onto Anchor Road and up to the Adderley Green. We turned left towards Bentille and we went to the respite unit to pick up another service user. We then headed back to Adderley Green. We turned right onto Anchor Road and near to the bottom we turned right again onto Upper Cross Street. We worked our way through the back Streets and onto King Street. We carried on into Fenton and onto City Road before turning left into Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew went into the sensory and spent time using a computer. We went to fetch dinner from the chip shop. For dinner he had sausage chips and gravy from the chips shop. In the afternoon we went to the pub in a Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we went Straight across City Road onto Fountain Street. We turned left onto William Street and right onto Manor Street before going right again onto Victoria Road. As short way down the road we turned right into Fenton Industrial Estate along Dewsbury Road. We turned around and we went back onto Victoria Road and onto Manor Street again. We turned left onto City Road and at the bottom near to the railway we went right onto the A52. We went past the railway station along Station Road and then right onto College Road. We followed the Road up and onto Regent Road. we saw GHA single decker N8 GHA on layover waiting for the return X81 to Winsford. We carried on to the end and then right onto Lichfield road and to our destination. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a drink of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 63177 on the #6 to Meir.

Matthew listened to the Jukebox with tracks including Duran Duran, Elton John and Eagles. When it was time to leave we got back aboard Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off Up Lichfield Street and then left onto Regent Road. We continued onto College Road and then then left onto Station Road. At the traffic light we went forwards onto the A52 and then left onto City Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street. At the end of Temple Street we turned right Christchurch Street and then to our destination. After a short break we went onto Bentilee to drop off another service user. We went onto Glebedale Road and then right onto City Road. We continued straight onto King Street before turning left onto Clarence Road. We weaved through the back streets on Longton and we joined Anchor Road along Wood Street. At the top of Adderley Green we went left towards Bentilee and we dropped off the service user. We returned through Bentilee and we saw Scraggs YJ05 JXS new to Scraggs on a #80 to Bentilee. We went to Adderley Green and back down Anchor Road into Longton and around the one way system. We crossed over the A50 and onto the A5035. We turned right onto Ripon Road and onto Finstock Avenue before getting home around 15:00. When Matthew got home he had toast and cherryade whilst we waited for time before we went out. Today we decided to go on the 16:30 service towards Newcastle. We set off around 16:25... We were a little late today. It was raining heavily when we set off. We walked to the stop all the way over on Magdalen Road and as we approached the stop the bus rounded the corner. We turned to see it was required First Potteries 53405.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road. Matthew honked the horn on this Solo... We sat down towards the back of the bus and we set off towards the A5035. As the bus in front was nearly empty, Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 53405.

We turned right onto the A5035 and we crossed the railway line into Trentham. It was raining hard now and we had to shut the window as we were getting soaked by rain! We turned right into New Inn Lane and we went into Hanford. We went down Church Lane ane we joined the Northbound A34. We crossed under the A500 and into Trent Vale and when the bus bus turned right, we got up and got off the bus opposite Alder Walk. We set of back down Harpfields Road and we saw First Potteries 60069 on a #22 to Longton. We joined the A34 and near to the pub we saw First Potteries 53120 on the following #22 to Longton.

We stood outside the pub for a few minutes not realising that mum was already in the car park. We walked with mum into the pub and we sat down near to window... Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses were ABC Supreme BV51 BNZ / P881 RND on a staff shuttles and Stanton's of Stoke YKZ 6759 going Northwards. After we had finished eating we went to the car and Matthew called uncle Dave to tell him we were on the way. We saw ABC Supreme BV51 BNZ going Northwards toeards the hospital. We set off down the A34 and we went onto the Northbound A500. The A500 was busy, but only on the junction towards the A50. We went straight past Sideway and towards the Stoke turning. We saw GHA coach YN54 OAU and D&G 157 on the X14 to Trentham Gardens. At Stoke we headed back into Fenton. After picking uncle Dave up we went back up to Heron Cross and we saw First Potteries 53058 on a #23A and Copeland's Tours MIB 536. We turned right at the traffic lights and over the A50 into Blurton. We travelled through Blurton along Blurton Road were we passed First Potteries 53208. We went onto Church Road and right into Beaconsfield Drive and we got home just after 18:00. Matthew then chilled out on his computer until bedtime around 00:00... Mark

Today Matthew was going for tea in Trent Vale but not before he spent the day with his day service There had been a timetable change and the PVR of the route had changed from 5 to 4 buses. There are 3 buses that work all day, plus one extra that does the 16:05 Newcastle to New Inn Lane. The extra bus then runs empty to Keele to form the 17:03 #3 service from Keele to Hanley. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and juice for breakfast. The bus turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We set off onto the A5035 and headed towards Trentham. We turned into New Inn Lane and then into Pacific Drive. Once we had picked up another service user we headed back onto New Inn Lane and the A5035. We headed along into Blurton and we turned into church Road. We carried on into Blurton Road and across the A50. We went through Heron Cross and onto Heron Street. Having crossed the railway line we turned left onto Christchurch Street and to our destination. In the morning Matthew went into the sensory and spent time using a computer. We went to fetch dinner from the chip shop. For dinner he had sausage chips and gravy from the chips shop. After dinner we went to the pub. Today we went in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off onto Glebedale Road and then left onto City Road. We turned right onto Manor Street and then left onto Victoria Road. We carried on across Joiners Square roundabout and onto Lichfield Street and to our destination. Matthew used the toilet and had a drink of Coke. We then saw Stevens Travel KS56 DSZ heading towards Hanley.

Shortly after that we saw First Potteries 63173 on a #6 towards Longton.

When it was time to go we got in a Lucky Seven taxi. We went down Palmerston Street and onto the A52. We turned left onto Victoria Road and up to Victoria Square before turning sharp right onto City Road. We turned left into Glebedale Road and to our destination. When it was time to go home we went outside and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We set off onto Glebedale Road an forward onto Station Bridge Road and Heron Street. In Heron Cross we went straight across onto Blurton Road and over the A50. We carried on into Blurton along Blurton Road and forward onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Road and arrived home just before 15:00. Matthew had toast and a drink of Irn Bru whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:18 to Newcastle and we were expecting it to be dud First Potteries 60072. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. We stood at the bus stop and pretty much bang on time we saw dud First Potteries 60072 come around the corner as was expected.

We got on to the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road. We sat down towards the back of the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. We turned right towards Trentham passing Scraggs 1655 VT going the other way. In Trentham we turned right into New Inn Lane passing First Potteries 60073 on the #22 to Longton. We headed through Hanford and down Church lane onto the A34. We saw First Potteries 53124 on a #21B to Trentham Gardens. We crossed under the A500 and into Trent Vale. At the end of London Road we passed First Potteries 53123 on a #21 to Pacific Drive and the Trentham Hotel on the new combined #21 and #21A which runs as a #21 only. We turned right onto Harpfields Road. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 60072 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We got to the pub just before mum arrived. Whilst we waited we saw ABC Supreme YU02 GZG. When mum arrived we went into the pub and Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses were First Potteries 65033 on the #101 to Stafford and Stantons of Stoke Van Hool / Volvo coach YKZ 6759 going towards Newcastle. After we had finished eating we went out to the car. We called Uncle Dave and we went to pick him up. We drove along the A34 and onto and A500. We went East on the A50 and going into Heron Cross before we headed into Fenton. After we had picked up uncle Dave, we headed up to Heron Cross and through Blurton. Passing through Blurton we saw First Potteries 41496 & 53209. We carried on down Beaconsfield Drive getting home around 17:45. The bus set off and they picked up on another service user before going onto the A5035 and turning left. At Church Road we turned left and we went through Blurton along Blurton Road. We went over the A50 and into Heron Cross. We went into Heron Street and we followed the road around onto Glebedale Road before reaching our destination. In the morning Matthew went into the sensory and spent time using a computer. For dinner he had sausage chips and gravy from the chips shop followed by toffee cheesecake. Matthew had been due to go to the pub in Joiners Square. Today Matthew went in a Lucky Seven taxi.We got in the taxi and the bus set off onto Glebedale Road. We went across City Road onto Fountain Street before going left onto William Street. We turned right onto Manor Street and then we headed straight down Victoria Road and across the roundabout at Joiners square onto Lichfield Street. When they got to the pub Matthew went to the toilet and had a drink of Coke. We then saw First Potteries 63172 on a #6 service to Meir.

Highlights of the sightings were Scragg YJ59 GHH on the #50 to Longton and Selwyns Coach FN62 CCZ on the #314 National Express coach service. When it was time to return to Fenton they were picked up by a Lucky Seven taxi.We set off onto the A52 before turning left onto Victoria Road. We turned right to go past the swimming baths before turning left onto City Road. We turned into Smithpool Road and then left onto Temple street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and we reached the destination. Once it was time to go home we got back into the usual transport Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we headed through Heron Cross via Heron Street. We headed through Blurton on Blurton Road and we turned into Beaconsfield Drive. We got back around 15:00. Matthew had some toast and a drink of orangeade and used the computer before we set off to the bus stop just before 16:00. We then saw First Potteries 60072 on a late running #22 to Dresden.

It was raining and the weather must have been affecting traffic. Running slightly late was D&G 171 on the Blurton Plumline.

Around 16:12 running around 5 minutes late, as expected First Potteries 65706 rounded the corner.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road. The bus set off onto the A5035 and we turned right. As we went along Trentham Road we passed council welfare bus FJ05 EKN. We carried on into Trentham passing Scraggs 1655 VT and we turned into New Inn Lane. We passed the Main in Space pub and then we passed First Potteries 60069 on the #22 to Dresden. As we joined the A34 we saw a double decker on the #22 short to Trentham. We turned onto the A34 and we passed First Potteries 34311 on the short #22 turn. We carried on into Trent Vale and we turned into Harpfields Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew then took another picture of First Potteries 65706 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We set off on foot back towards the pub. On the way we saw First Potteries 65037 on a Stafford bound #101 service.

Closer to the pub we spotted ABC Supreme minibus FP53 ESU heading towards the hospital on a Staff shuttle bus.

Eventually mum turned up and we went into the pub. Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses were First Potteries 65041 and Stanton's of Stoke coach YKZ 6759. After we had finished eating we went out to the car. We called Uncle Dave and we went to pick him up. We drove along the A34 and onto Church Lane. We headed down New Inn Lane and around the main estate before Going onto the A5035. We turned left onto Stanley Matthews Way and into Heron Cross before we headed into Fenton. After we had picked up uncle Dave, we headed up to Heron Cross and through Blurton, getting home around 17:45. Today Matthew was having his tea in a pub in Trent Vale, but not before spending the day a his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. There had been some snow overnight and this had delayed his pick up. He was taken to his day service in a car today, which arrived a little after 09:00. We went onto Finstock Avenue and then onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and then forward onto Blurton Road at Critchlows Corner. We carried on through Blurton and over the A50 into Heron Cross. We went forward onto Heron Street and continued onto Glebedale Road and to his destination. Matthew spent the morning in the sensory room and using the computer. For dinner he had sausage chips and gravy from the chip shop. Becasue of the weather he wasn't able to go to the pub this afternoon, so he stayed in and played on the Wii. When it was time to go home the bus was now available, and it was his usual transport Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We set off onto Glebedale Road and forward onto Heron Street. At Heron Cross we went straight through the lights and across the A50. We carried on through Blurton and right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and we got home at around 14:50. At home Matthew had toast and a glass of dandelion & Burdock. We decided to catch the earlier bus today. Had it not broken down earlier in the day, this 15:37 through Blurton should have been First Potteries ALX400 double decker 32054. As I had seen it stopped at the side of the road earlier in the day I did not know which bus was going to appear to work the 15:37. We set off to the bus stop around 15:30 and we stood waiting for a while. We heard a noise behind us and surprisingly it was First Potteries 32054.

Obviously whatever stopped First Potteries 32054 earlier wasn't a serious problem. It seemed unlikely that the bus was running 45 minutes late so the bus must have dropped back a turn and was a mere 15 minutes late. The only thing is we didn't know what was going to turned up. Bang on time we saw a Scania turn the corner. It turned out to be dud First Potteries 60072 which had been on the service behind First Potteries 32054 when it had broken down.

We got on the bus and booked to Harpfields Road before sitting down. The bus set off onto the A5035 and turned right. We had only been on this bus two weeks ago! We entered trentham and we passed First Potteries 41499 on the #21A to the Trentham Hotel. We turned right onto New Inn Lane and as we approached The Lea First Potteries 41499 pulled out in fornt of us now on a Hanley bound #21A.We followed the bus up to the Man In Space and we passed First Potteries 40367 on the #21B to Trentham Gardens. In Hanford still following First Potteries 41499, we passed First Potteries Solo 40304 on the #21 to Pacific Drive. We followed First Potteries 41499 down Church Lane and onto the A34. We crossed under the A500 and we went into Trent Vale. As we waited at the junction of London Road to carry on we saw mum's car in front of us. We turned right onto Harpfields Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew got another picture of First Potteries 60072 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We came off the A50 at Heron Cross and we dropped into Fenton. After we had picked up uncle Dave, we headed up to Heron Cross and through Blurton, getting home around 15:15. Today Matthew went in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off through Fenton before coming out of Smithpool Road onto City Road. We headed down towards Stoke before doing the A52. we saw First Potteries 66838 on a #3 and AVA Coach BD57 WDG. We carried on past the University to Joiners Square where we turned left onto Lichfield Street before arriving at our destination. At the pub Matthew went to the toilet and drank some Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 60075 on the #6 to Hanley.

When it was time to go we were picked up by another lucky seven taxi. We went down Lichfield Street and across Joiners Square roundabout and onto Victoria Road. We turned right at Manor Street and then left into City Road. Finally we turned right into Glebedale Road before we reached our destination. When it was time to return home Matthew got back onto Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. The bus took us onto Glebedale Road and we followed it through to Heron Street and into Heron Cross. We went through the lights and over the A50 before continuing through Blurton along Blurton Road. We turned right at Critchlow's Corner onto Church Road and right again onto Beaconsfield Drive. Matthew got home around 14:40 today. After having some toast and Dandelion & Burdock we chilled out until it was time to go and catch the bus. We set off just before 16:00 and we walked towards he stop on Magdalen Road. Before we got there, we spotted D&G 170 going in the opposite direction on the Blurton Plumline service.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfield Road before we sat down near to the back of the bus. The bus headed toeards the A5035 and we saw Z Carz Y568 XFV go past the end of the street towards longton. We turned right onto the A5035 and we carried on towards Trentham. In Trentham we passed the only required bus out on the main service which was First Potteries 60069. In Hanford we passed dud First Potteries 40003 on a #21A to the Trentham Hotel. We carried on down and we turn right onto the A34. We crossed under the A500 and we entered Trent Vale. We still hadn't passed anything on the 'Extra' 16:05 Newcastle - New Inn Lane #22 service. We passed the pub and the bus moved right to do the right turn into Harpfields Road. We turned into Harpfields Road and we saw the #22 short coming the other way... It was a Cherry Route branded bus. We got off the bus and Matthew got another picture of First Potteries 60072 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We got to the pub and as we had got there before mum we sat on a table near to the door to wait for her. Eventually met mum and Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream.
