Trip to Ellesmere Port / Chester 11-04-2026

Today we decided to revisit Ellesmere Port and Chester for the first time in a long time. Research consisted of checking what ticket we needed, Checking the car parking in Chester and checking the Weather, which was for dry cool weather with some sunshne. Matthew wokw up at 08:00 to have his medication and then got up around 09:30. We had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We got in the car and we set off around 12:00. We set off through Blurton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road past the former Coral shop which is new going to be flats. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. On the A500 we saw Selwyns BF24 AOJ and white minibus YM05 FUO. We joined the Northboumnd M6 and we headed up to juncction 20. Travelling up the M6 we saw Holmeswood PO68 ???, blue minibus AE68 ONM / WF70 PPV, an unidentified J&A Travel coach and Ridleys Coaches YK26 LBV. We joined the Westbound M56 and we passed the site of a new McDonalds. We got onto the Northbound M53. We came off the M53 at junction 9 and we headed Westwards on the A5032. We turned left onto Cromwell Road and we followed the road to the right onto Wellington Road. We turned left onto Cambrdge Road and we went right onto McGarva Way. We turned right onto Grange Road and we parked up near to the Market. Once out of the car we saw grey minibus CX73 ZKW parked up. We headed into the market which is in the middle of a re-devlopment. The food court seems to be much smaller than it used to be. We ordered the food and sat down. Whilst we waited for the food we went to the toilet. The toilets have been upgraded and are much better than before. We headed back to our table and Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished eating, we said goodbye to mum an we headed to the bus station. We came out of the market and past The Food Wharehouse and The Portal, which sits on the site of the former bus station. As we got to the coner of Civic Way we saw Stagecoach Merseyside 15471 on a #1 to Chester.

We continued to the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Chester. We turned down Stagecoach Merseyside 27258, which was on a #2 to Runcorn.

a few minutes later a suitable bus came around the corner. As it got closer, we saw it was Stagecoach Merseyside 10577 on a X1 to Chester.

We got on the bus and we booked Merseyside Dayrider Plus tickets at £5.70 before we went sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto Wellington Road and we turned left onto Stanney Lane and we ran past The Grace Arms, which was a pub we used to eat at back when we first started to visit Ellesmere Port. We continued down the road for around 1/2 mile and then we turned left into the Coliseum Retail Park. We continued into the adjacent Cheshire Oaks designer outlet and we saw , an unidentified Woods coach and Milligan's MIL 1920 in the coach park. We got onto the A5117 and we ran Westwards to the A41. We ran South and where we would normally turn right we went straight on towards Chester Zoo. We turned into the zoo and we saw M & H Coaches M555 MNH parked up. We came back out of the Zoo and continued South down the A41 and we turned right onto Heath Road. We continued onto Mill Street and we joined the Southbound A5116. We ran into Chester and over the ring road onto Northgate. We turned left into Delamere Street. We continued down onto George Street and onto Gorse Stacks and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew visited the toilet. Afterwards we went to the cafe. Matthew had a slice of Victoria Cake and bottle of Coke. When we had finished we looked for a bus we could catch on the ticket we had. We spotted Arriva NW&W 3173 on a #14A Blacon circular.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Stagecoach Merseyside Dayrider Plus to the driver before we saw down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Gorse Stacks and we ran onto George Street. At the end we turned right onto Northgate Street and we crossed over the ring road onto the A5116. We veered left on the one-way system and we ran forwards onto the A540. We ran past Chester University and we hit traffic as we got to the edge of town. At the roundabout we turned left onto Blacon Avenue. We turned left onto Saughall Road where we got off the bus.

Once off the bus we head back to The Parade and we went into Spar. Matthew had a can and a chocolate bar. We walked to the stop on Blacon Avenue and we waited for a bus back towards Chester. A short time later a bus came ariund the corner. As it got closer we saw it was Arriva NW&W 3174 on a #14 to Chester.

We got on it and we flashed the Stagecoach Merseyside Dayrider Plus tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Blacon Avenue and we had a long run of around 2/3 of a mile down to a roundabout. We crossed the roundabout onto the A540 and we had another run of around 1/2 mile up to Liverpool Road. We ran around the one-way system and passed the former Stagecoach bus depot which is now student accomodation. We continued and into town along Northgate. We crossed over the ring road on Northgate and we turned left onto Delamere Street. We continued down onto George Street and onto Gorse Stacks and into the bus station. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. We had a look around to see what we could catch. Arriva NW&W 2668 was on a #11A to Connah's Quay, but we weren't on our tickets.

It was also as bus we had been on before. We had previously been on Arriva NW&W 2668 in August 2021, from Runcorn to Halton Lea Hospital on a #3C. Also seen was Arriva NW&W 4542 on layover in between runs on the #11 to Rhyl.

We saw a freshly painted bus on a stand behind us. We went to have a look and we saw it was Stagecoach Merseyside 36802 on a #61 to Higher Kinnerton.

We had a look in which direction the bus was going and we worked out where we could do the bus to and get back on another service. We got on it and we flashed the Stagecoach Merseyside Dayrider Plus tickets to the driver. The bus was empty so Matthew took a picture inside of Stagecoach Merseyside 36802.

After waiting time, we set off along Gorse Stacks and turned right into Frodsham Street. We turned right onto Love Street and onto Pepper Street. We continued onto Lower Bridge Street and we turned left onto Old Dee Bridge into Handbridge. We continued onto Overleigh Road and we crossed the A483 and we turned left onto Lache Lane where we got up to get off the bus. Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach Merseyside 36802 as it carried on towards Higher Kinnerton.

Once off the bus we crossed over Lache Lane and we walked along Cavendish Road. When we got to the A5104, we saw that it was a residential area and there were no places to go to. We crossed ovcer the road and we waited at the bus stop. We waited for the next Stagecoach bus. Whilst we waited we saw Arriva NW&W 2909 on a #4 to Chester Railway Station.

A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach Merseyside 15583 on a #16 to Chester.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Stagecoach Merseyside Dayrider Plus tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Hough Green and at the roundabout we ran forwards onto Overleigh Road. We continued onto Handbridge and we crossed over Old Dee Bridge. We turned right onto Pepper Street and forwards onto Vicar Lane. We turned left onto Love Street and right onto Foregate Street. As we waited to pull forwards onto the Grosvenor Court roundabout an unidentified CIE Tours coach. We turned left onto St Oswald's Way and we entered the bus station in the North West corner. Once off the bus we decided to have a bit of a break and head into a pub. On the way we saw Prospect Coaches YS25 XOV on a #021 Flixbus service to London.

We crossed over St Oswald's Way and we headed into the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we went to the bar to get a drink. Matthew had a glass of Coke. After we had finished our drinks we headed back to the bus station. We decided to have one more bus and arrnage to met mum somewhere. We just missed a stagecoach bus on the #14 to Blacon, and the next bus was Arriva NW&W 3173 which we had already been on earlier in the day. We decided to catcha bus to Kingsway instead and go to the chip shop there. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 582 on a #82 to Northwich.

A few minutes later we saw a bus heading towards the stand. As it came by us, we saw it was Stagecoach Merseyside 36804 on a #53 to Kingsway.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Stagecoach Merseyside Dayrider Plus to the driver before we saw down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Gorse Stacks and we turned left onto the A56. We ran North through Hoole and we turned left onto Newton Lane. We crossed over the bridge of an old disused railway line and then we turned right onto Kingsway. Just before the shops we turned left onto Coniston Road and we went to the end where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach Merseyside 36804 as it continued around Kingsway.

Once off the bus we had a look around. The chip shop that we used to go to had closed down. Whilst we waited for mum we decided to go the the Co-op. Matthew picked up a can and a chocolate bar. We sat on a bench and Matthew shared his chocolate bar with be and uncle Dave. Mum arrived and we decided to drive to another chip shop. We got in the car and we set off onto Kingsway. We turned right onto Newton Lane and left onto Brook Lane. We turned left onto Ermine Road and we stopped near then end by a chip shop. I went to fetch the food and on my return, Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. When I had finished eating we set off along Ermine Road and we turned left onto the A56. We headed North Eastwards and we crossed over the A41. At the next roundabout we turned left onto the M53. We headed Northwards to Stoak and we joined the Eastbound M56. We ran through cheshire for around 15 miles and we joined the Southbound M6. As we were heading Southwards through Cheshire we were passed by a group of coaches. I beleive these were returning fans to Gillingham after there football match at Salford. The first coach to pass us was Worthing Coaches BU18 YTW.

A few minutes later we were passed by Spirit of Sussex 549.

At junction 16 we joined the A500. A we headed towards Talke we were passed by Copeland's Tours MIB 537 returning from a day trip to Lichfield and Penkridge.

We continued through Longport and Etruria and we came off the A500 at Stoke. We veered left onto Wheildon Road. We crossed over the canal and under the railway line. We stopped to drop off uncle Dave and we said goodbye. We set off onto Wheildon Road and past the former Regent pub which is now being set up as an Indian Restaurant. We ran forwards onto Grove Road and we saw green minibus R482 NDM parked up. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50 and continued along Blurton Road. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Street. We turned right onto the A5035 and back to Blurton around 19:20. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we did some of the Blog. We also wrote a few emails and generally used the computer to entertain ourselves. We watched YouTube and Matthew got ready for bed. Matthew settled down around 00:00... Mark

Trip to Northwich / Winsford 30-08-2025

Today we decided to re-visit Northwich. Matthew had originally chosen another destination, but we decided to use that for our trip in 2 weeks time. Matthew chose again and he chose Northwich. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up at 10:00 and had toast for breakfast. We got in the car and we set off around 11:30. We set off through Blurton onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. We headed Northwards through Etruria and Longport. AS we travelled up the A500 we saw YP74 XBN, Stanton's of Stoke 82 HBC, red minibus YJ22 FZF, First Potteries 63103(#501), Llew Jones LJ72 LLJ, taxi minibus GJ23 YNX and Burland Coaches YN07 OZE. We joined the Northbound M6 headed up to the A54. As we travelled North we saw an unidentified Eavesway coach. We came off at junction 18 and we headed into Middlewich. We headed arund the one-way system and we stopped at the food truck. Matthew had a burger washed down with a can of dandelion & burdock. When we had finished eat we set off onto the A530 and we ran forwards onto the A54. We ran out of town for around 1/3 of a mile and we turned right onto the A533. we turned left onto Brick Kiln Lane and we turned right onto the A533. We continued Northwards on the A533 to the edge of town. We ran forwards onto London Road and we turned right onto Watling Street. We turned left onto Crum Hill and we turned left into the car park. After parking up we said goodbye to mum and we walked onto Watliong Street. We walk past the Interchange and we saw D&G Bus 57 on layover in between runs on the #82 to Chester.

Matthew decided he want ed a cake so we walked into the town centre past the hanging witch and we turned right into the pedestrian area. We walked towards Asda and we stopped at The Coffee House. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a slice of caramel shortbread and a bottle of Coke. When we had finished we went back through the town and we met up with uncle Dave. We walked to the Interchange and we saw Warrington's Own Buses 1037 on a N4 service to Barnton.

We considered doing D&G 57 to Chester, but it pulled off before we could get there. D&G 102 pulled into the Interchange and was going to work a #89 to Pickmere in about 25 minutes. We deciedd to wait for the #31 which was heading into town. A short time latter the bus appeared. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 574 on a #31 to Crewe.

We got on the bus and we bought Network Bus Duo ticket at £12 before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Watling Street and we turned right onto the ring road. We followed the A533 out of town for about 1/3 of a mile before we veered left onto London Road. We crossed the A533 and we went over the roundabout over the A556. We continued Southwards into Davenham we ran through the village. We turned right onto Jack Lane and we ran through Moulton. We joined the Southbound A533 and we turned right onto Bostock Road. We ran forwards onto the B5355. We ran forwards onto Whaton Road and we crossed over the big roundabout at the bottom of Winsford onto the High Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 574 and it continued towards Crewe.

We realised there was a bus back towards Northwich due, so we went under the subway and waited at the bus stop by the Guildhall. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 55 on a #37 to Northwich.

We got on the bus and we flashed the D&G Network Duo Day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the High Street and we ran down the hill towards the big roundabout. We ran forwards onto Wharton Road and we continued Northwards out of Winsford. We ran up the A5018 and we turned right onto the Northbound A533 where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 55 as it continued towards Northwich.

Once off the bus we walked over to the new service station on the end of the industrial estate. We crossed over the road and we walked into the service station. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we bought some pop and a couple of chocolate bars. We walked back over the road and onto the A533 to wait for the next Northbound bus. As short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 576 on a #31 to Northwich.

We got on the bus and we placed our Neywork Day Duo ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off up the fast section of the A533 for around 1/2 mile and we turned left onto Jack lane. We ran into Moulton and we followed Jack Lane to the right and towards Mere Heath. We turned left onto London Road and we headed Northwards into Davenham and we crossed over the A556 and A533. We continued through Leftwich before joining the Northound A533. We ran forwards onto Dane Street and we turned right onto Watling Street before stoppping at the interchange where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 576 before it returned on a #37 to Crewe.

Once off the bus we decided to headed to the pub. We went to the bar and we ordered 2 glasses of Coke. Matthew had a glass of Coke and we sat and watched the latest football scored on the TV. When we had finished we headed back to the Interchange. We saw Warrington's Own Buses 1041 on a #9A to Warrington.

We decided to do the #82 which had been on layover for a while. We saw it was D&G Bus 58 on a #82 to Chester.

We got on the bus and we scanned the Network Bus Duo ticket before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off along Watling Street and then turned right into Chester Way. We crossed over the weaver and we turned left onto the A559. We ran West out of town and as we passed some minibuses parked up off Milner Road adjacent to Greenbank railway station. We continued out past Hartford station and we joined the Westbound A556. We turned right onto Weaverham Road and we ran through the Cuddington housing estate before we joined the Southbound A49. We turned right by the petrol station to re-join the A556 and we carried on Westwards. We then continued on along one of the fast parts of the route through Oakmere until we joined the Westbound A54. We continued for a further 500m and then we turned left into Kelsall village. After running through the village we re-joined the A54. It wsa going to be a dead time in Tarvin village, so we planned to get off at Tarvin Sands... However. there were roadworks where the bus stop is, We spoke to the driver and he said he would drop us at a different stop. We ran inti Tarvin village and as we approached the stop we saw the bus coming the other way! The driver flashed the other driver and told him there passengers coming across. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 58 as it headed towards Chester.

We crossed the road and we saw the other bus was D&G Bus 577 on a #82 to Northwich.

We got on the bus and we scanned the Network Bus Duo ticket before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off along High Street and we turned right onto the A54. We turned right again to run through Kelsall. We rejoined the A54 and we ran through Oakmere before we veered left onto the A556. At the crossed roads we turned left onto the A49 and we entered the estate in Cuddington along Ash Road. We ran through the estate and we rejoined the A556 and ran East to Harford where we came off and went onto the A559. We ran past Hartford and Greenbank railway stations and we entered Northwich. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 577 as it headed towards Northwich.

Once off the bus we headed into a pub and Matthew went to the toilet. We had a small glass of Coke and afterwards we went out to see uncle Dave. We crossed over the road and as we had a little time we walkd back to the Greenbank Hotel. Matthew took a picture of the large house on the junction which is being redeveloped. We waited at the bus stop and Matthew had a Milky Way. A short time later the bus came around the corner and we saw it was D&G Bus 582 on a #49 to Rudheath.

We got on the bus and we placed the Network Duo ticket under the scanner for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the A559 and we headed Eastwards. We joined the A533 on the edge of town and we crossed over the river Weaver and into the Interchange. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 582 as it continued towards Rudheath.

We waited by the Interchange and mum came to pick us up. We got in the car and we set off onto the A533. We continued Southwards out of town and to the edge of Winsford. We followed the A533 left and we joined the A54. We ran into Middlewich and we re-joined the A533 and ran out of town. We turned left onto St Annes Avenue and I parked up. I walked to the chop shop on the main road and fetched some food for everyone. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of dandelion and burdock. When I had finished eating we set off along St Annes Avenue and left onto Sutton Lane. We turned left onto Long Lane South and we re-joined the A533. We ran along side the Trent & Mersey canal, which at this moment seems ton be almost empty. We continued to the edge of Sandbach and through to the motorway. As we apoproached the motorway we saw Keane Coaches YT24 BRF. We joined the Southbound M6 and we ran down to Junction 16. As we travelled Southwards we passed 5 ALS Coaches coaches and 3 Big Coach Company coaches. We went Southwards down the A500. We ran along the high level A500 and onto Wheildon Road. We went into uncle Dave's and Uncle Dav e had his birthday presents from Matthew. Matthew used the toilet and had some of uncle Rob's Fanta orange. After dropping off uncle Dave we set off onto Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road and right onto the A5035. We got back to the house around 19:00. Matthew had his medication and chilled out on his computer. Matthew did some of the Blog. We also wrote a few emails and generally used the computer to entertain ourselves. Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. Later on Matthew had a Flake ice cream. Matthew settled down around 01:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. Whilst waiting to go to the Hanley we saw silver minibus YR11 OJR. Later on we went out for dinner on the bus. We went downstairs and we set off on foot to the bus stop. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. We continued up City Road onto Manor Street and we turned left onto Victoria Road. As it got closer we saw that it was dud First Potteries 35946 on a #6 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked the Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Victoria Road and towards Joiners Square. At the roundabout we went forwards onto Lichfield Street. We got up and got off the bus half way up the hill. We returned to the Kidsgrove in ABC Supreme taxi. We set off up Lichfield Street and we turned left onto Regent Road we past the former Macari Centre new Kick Zone play centre. We continued onto Cleveland Road and we turned right onto The Parkway. We ran down though Shelton along Ridgway Road. we walked around Hanley Park for a while. We walk northwards through the park and into the North West corner to the sensory play area. We stopped at the benches at the end to eat the sausage sandwich followed by a jam filled shortbread biscuit and drink the can of Coke. After spending a while there we walked back to the South East corner of the park. We returned back to Fenton we got in the car and we set off along The Avenue and onto Boughey Road where we saw Travel Express LG68 PSZ. We turned left onto Ridgway Road and we turned left onto Mawson Grove and we turned left onto the A52. We turned left onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down Lichfield Street and we turned into the the stop outside the bus station. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards waited for a bus back to Newcastle. A short time later the bus appeared. We waited for the next #101 to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63357 on a #18 to Leek. We got on and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off through the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and left onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned right onto Shelton New Road and we ran down through Etruria an up into Hartshill before joining the A52. We ran into Newcastle down George Street. We joined the one way system and we turned left on the roundabout onto Barracks Road. We got to the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We set off on foot up Castle Walk and we visited Home Bargains. We walked up Castle Walk and we turned right into Ironmarket and we turned left onto High Street and we turned left onto Barracks Road and into the bus station. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 582 on a #85 to Nantwich.

Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 44514 on a #99 to Chell. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63363 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over city Road and walked back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. Later on we went to Penkhull by car. We went downstairs and got in the car and set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and left onto City Road. We ran down the hill into Stoke and we joined the A52. We ran under the railway line and we crossed over the A500. We ran into Stoke town centre and around the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road and we turned right onto Chamberlain Avenue and we stopped at one of the house and Matthew had a glass of Coke. Once we had finished the drink we returned to Fenton by car. We got in the car and we set off onto Chamberlain Avenue and we turned left London Road and we ran forwards onto the one-way system onto Campbell Place and we ran forwards onto Church Street. We turned right onto Liverpool Street and we veered right onto Elenora Street. We turned right onto Copeland Street and we veered left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran to the end before turning left onto City Road. We ran under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. We saw Roseville VE19 JSU going towards Stoke. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we crossed over onto Manor Street for We stopped at the Fenton Community Hall and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we had a drink of Coke. Matthew had a ham sandwich and sausage rolls. After we had finished we returned to the residential unit. We walked along Manor Street and we crossed over City Road and we turned right onto onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs and back into his room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to Crewe on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63103 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 and ran under the railway line. After crossing over the A500 we ran into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We turned right onto Shelton Old Road and we saw Travel Express LK67 FWJ parked up th the depot. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road. We ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. Once of the bus Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we went across Lichfield Street and we saw they were setting up Winter Wonderland, At the near end of the site was a Helter Skelter. We saw Sovereign Coaches WJ17 EZK.

We continued along Tontine Street. We continued onto Tontine Square and we visited the Card Factory. After we had finished we walked across Tontine Square onto Parliament Row. We stopped at Poundland and Matthew brought a bottle of Coke. We walked along Parliament Row and we went to the Pound Bakery and Matthew had a sausage roll and a bottle of Coke in a bag. We set off along Parliament Row and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we returned to the bus station. At the bus station Matthew ate his sausage roll and drank his bottle of Coke. A few mninutes later the bus appeared. It was First Potteries 63345 on a #38 to Kidsgrove.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. At the bottom of the road we turned right onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto Broad Street and then we joined the clockwise ring road. At the end we turned left onto Etruria Road before going under the A53 onto Festival Way. We ran past Waterworld and we turned left onto Forge Lane past a new minibus building by the Brindley Farm pub. We looped under the A53 and we joined the Westbound A53. We crossed over the A500 at Etruria and and we ran up the hill into Basford and we ran down hill to the edge of Newcastle and we got onto the one way system. At the jubilee roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road before turning right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew used the toilet and we walked out of the bus station onto Castle Walk and we turned left onto Ironmarket. We turned left onto High Street and left onto Hassell Street. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we waited for a bus towards Crewe. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67181 on a #11 to Hanley.

The bus turned the corner and as it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 112 on a #85 to Nantwich. We got on the bus and we booked to Crewe before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran down onto the A34. We went Northwards to the next roundabout and then we turned left onto the Southbound A53. We turned right onto Blackfriars Road and we continued up the A525. We ran through Thistleberry and past Hampton's scrap yard. At the roundabout went straight and went up the hill towards Keele. We turned left into the campus and onto University Drive. At the end we turned left and ran through the university. We came out into Keele village and after a brief stop we continued along Station Road and we re-joined the A525. We headed Westwards into Madeley we ran past the pool and we turned right into Izaak Walton Way. We turned right onto Moss Lane and we re-joined the Eastbound A525. We turned left onto New Road and we headed Northwards up the the A531. We ran through Wrinehill and Betley and we ran forwards onto Main Road. We ran through Weston and we turned left onto Weston Road. At the roundabout we ran forwards onto the A532 and we ran into Crewe and we saw D&G Bus 53 on a #85 to Hanley. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A534 and we ran towards Crewe railway station. We past the railway station and we continued for around 1/2 mile before turning right into Edlestone Road. We ran into town crossing over the railway line and forwards onto Chester Bridge. We followed the road around onto Delamere Street and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw D&G Bus 582 on a #31 to Northwich. We waited for the next bus back to Newcastle. A few mninutes later the bus appeared. It was D&G Bus 573 on a #85 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before we sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto Delamere Street and we followed the road around onto Chester Bridge. We ran forwards onto Edleston Road and we turned left onto the A534 and we turned right at the roundabout onto the A523. We continued straight onto Weston Road and we turned right onto Main Road. We ran through the village of Weston and out of the other side. At the roundabout we ran forwards onto the A531. We continued Southwards through Betley and Wrinehill and we turned right onto New Road. We joined the Westbound A525 and we ran into Madeley village. We ran out of town and we veered right onto Station Road and into Keele village. We ran into the campus and past the student union before turning right onto University Drive. Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw it was required First Potteries 67181 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. Later on Matthew went out to KFC. Matthew went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and right onto City Road, We walked past Philpots and at the roundabout we turned right into KFC. Matthew had a chickenburger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Once we had finished eating we walked back along City Road and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a drink of orange. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in residential and we were going to take him out for the day. He was also going on a day trip to Blackpool. Matthew got up around 06:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. In the morning we went to Leek by Car. We went downstairs and we got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed over City Road onto Manor Street and we headed onto Victoria Road. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we ran down to Joiners Square. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran up to Bucknall. At Bucknall we continued onto the A5009. We ran through Abbey Hulton and Milton and we joined the Northbound A53. We continued North through Endon. A few minutes later we saw another coach approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was required Stanton's of Stoke 530 GEH on the day trip to Blackpool. We got on the coach and we sat down in our seats. We set off down Endon. We continued South Through Stockton Brook and down to Cobridge. A53. We continued Northwards for a few miles and we joined the Northbound M6. We ran through Cheshire and into Lancashire and to the East of Preston. We ran Northwards for around 40 miles and then we stopped at Charnock Richard service for a compfort break. We joined the Westbound M55 and we ran to the end. We ran forwards onto Yeadon Way where we got up and got off the coach. Once we had parked up we headed along Lytham Road and we walked into the centre of Blackpool. We turned left onto Wellington Road. We turned right the A584 and we ran We visited the Salt & Vinegar cafe. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy with a bap washed down with a can of Coke. Once we had finished eating we went up A584 where we saw Blackpool Transport 582 on a #1 to Starr Gate. We sat on a rck by the tram station and Matthew ate a pack of Milky Stars. Whilst we waited for our bus we saw Byley MX04 AED. We walked onto the A584 and we turned right onto Clifton Street. We turned left onto Abingdon Street. Afterwards we had a walk around Abingdon Street to see what we could catch. We saw Stagecoach Cumbria 10021 on a #42 to Lancaster. We got on the bus and we flashed the Lakes Day Ranger ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Abingdon Street. We turned right into Talbot Road and we ran under the railway line. We ran fast up to Layton Square. We turned left onto Westcliffe Drive. we ran forwards onto Poulton Road. We turned left onto Blackpool Old Road. We ran around the Poulton. We followed the road around onto Queen's Square. We went through the traffic lights and forwards onto Higher Green. We ran down the hill and under Lower Green. We turned left onto Garstang Road East. We ran down through Little Singleton. We turned onto the A585. we joined onto the A586. We headed towards Larbreck and we ran out into open countryside. We ran through Little Eccleston. We turned right onto West End and we continued onto High Street and onto Raikes Road. We turned right onto the A585. We continued through St Michael's on Wyre. past the Rowlandson Storage. We ran through Churchtown and we turned right onto Kirkland Bridge we continued onto Preston Lancaster New Road. We turned left onto Cock Robin Lane and we continued into Catterall. We turned left onto Garstang Road. We continued Through Bowgreave. We crossed over Bonds Lane. We continued Bonds and we ran forwards onto Park Hill Road. We continued into Garstang. We travelled through Cabus. We turned right and we ran down the A6. We travelled through Forton and over Bay Horse up to Hampson Green. We ran down Galgate. We turned left to run through Lancaster University. We joined the A6 and we headed down the Bailrigg. We ran through Scotforth. We ran up the hill into Lancaster. We continued onto King Street and forwards onto China Street. We continued into Bridge Lane we went onto Cable Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew wanted to go to the toilet. A few minutes later we saw required Stagecoach Cumbria 22763 on a #1 to Heysham. We got on the bus and we flashed the Lakes Day Ranger ticket and sat down towards the back of the bus. Whilst we waited for departure time we saw Stagecoach Lancashire 10560 on a #41 to Preston. We set off out of the bus station and onto Damside Street. We turned right onto China Street. We turned left onto the A6. We continued onto the A589 where we saw white mini coach G24 VME. We continued through Scale Hall. We turned right onto Scale Hall Lane. We turned left onto Torrisholme Road. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Lancaster Road. We ran down though Torrisholme. We ran through Morecambe. We turned left onto the A589. We ran forwards onto Lancaster Road. we ran forwards onto Euston Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up onto Euston Road and saw Stagecoach Cumbria 22881 on a #5 to Carnforth. We turned right onto Central Drive and left onto Pedder Street. We turned left onto the A589. We visited Costa Coffee and Matthew went to the toilet and a slice of millionaires shortbread and a bottle of Coke. Once we had finished eating we went up the A589. We turned right onto Pedder Street and we turned right onto Central Drive. We turned left onto Euston Road. A few minutes later we saw Stagecoach Cumbria 36417 on a #40 to Preston. We got on the bus and we flashed the Lakes Day Ranger ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off up Euston Road. We ran forwards onto Lancaster Road. We ran down though White Lund. We continued onto the A589. We ran down though Scale Hall. We crossed over onto the A6. We turned right onto Owen Road and we ran down onto Skerton Bridge. We continued through Lancaster. We turned right onto the A589 and we went onto North Road and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a walk around to see what we could see before we returned to Blackpool. We saw Stagecoach Cumbria 11212 on a #555 to Kendal. we set off We walked onto Damside Street. We turned right onto Calkeld Lane. We turned right onto Church Street and we turned left onto New Street past the old RBS bank. We walked through the shopping centre and we stopped at Subway. Matthew had a chip cookie washed down with a cup of coke. When we had finished we crossed over the road to wait for a bus towards Blackpool. When we had finished we walked own New Street and turned right onto Church Street. We turned left onto Calkeld Lane. We turned left onto Damside Street to the bus station. We waited for a bus back towards Blackpool. A short time later we saw Stagecoach Cumbria 11143 on a #42 to Blackpool. We got on the bus and we flashed the Lakes Day Ranger ticket to the driver for the final time today before we went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station and Damside Street and we turned right onto onto the A49 After running the hill through Scotforth we continued onto Scotforth Road. We turned left to run through Lancaster University. We joined the A6 We continued through Galgate. We continued Scorton. We ran through Preston Lancaster Road. We ran through Hollins Lane. We continued Cabus. We turned and forwards onto Lancaster Road and left onto Bonds Lane. We continued Through Bowgreave. We continued into Garstang. We continued into Garstang. We continued into Catterall. We crossed over Bonds Lane. We turned right onto Cock Robin Lane. We turned right onto Preston Lancaster New Road we continued onto Kirkland Bridge. We turned left onto the A586. We ran through Churchtown. We continued through St Michael's on Wyre. We ran through Little Eccleston. We ran fast up to Layton Square. we continued onto Talbot Road and we ran under the railway line. We ran past the railway station and the new Sainsbury's store and into the town centre. We ran past the old bus station and we turned left onto Clifton Street. We turned left onto Abingdon Street here we got up and got off the bus. Once we let the bus go we walked up Abingdon Street. We turned left onto Talbot Road. We turned left the A584. We visited Golden Mile Amusements. Matthew went to the toilet. Once we had finished eating we went up A584. We visited Notarianni Ices. Matthew had an ice cream. we had finished eating we went up A584. turned left onto Wellington Road. We turned right onto Lytham Road. When it was time to go home we walked up Bonny Street and we headed to the coach park. We walked along Yeadon Way and we stopped at the coach park. We saw Rothwells 163 NHO on layover. As expected, transport for the journey home was Stanton's of Stoke 530 GEH. We got on the coach and we sat down in our allocated seats. The coach set off along onto Yeadon Way. We joined the Eastbound M55 where we saw Moffat & Williamson's LN20 PWF. and we ran the 20 miles or so back to the motorway. We joined the Southbound M6. We ran Northwards for around 40 miles and then we stopped at Charnock Richard service for a compfort break. and Matthew ate a ham sandwich. We got back on the coach and when everybody was back onboard we set off back onto the M6. We travelled South. as we barrelled Southwards through Lancashire. We continued into Cheshire and we left the M6 at junction 16. We joined the Southbound A500 to Etruria and we went Eastwards along the A53. We ran through Cobridge past the site of new Wrights Pie shop. We ran North through Badderley Green and into Stockton Brook. We continued into Endon and we got up and got off the bus. Once of the coach we returned Later on we returned to Fenton by car. We set off onto the A53 and we headed South into Stockton Brook and down to Cobridge. At the lights we turned left onto Waterloo Road. We ran down to the ring Road and then we ran around Hanley before going onto Lichfield Street. We ran down to Joiners Square and we continued onto Victoria Road. We ran up to the top and we turned sharp right onto City Road. We ran down to Smithpool Road and we turned left. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room. He used the computer and watched buses out of the window.
