Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00. He got dressed and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

The bus set off onto the A5035 and we we over the railway onto Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and right again into Pacific Drive. After picking up another service user we returned onto New Inn Lane and then onto the A5035. We crossed back into Blurton and we turned left onto Church Road. At the roundabout we continues onto Blurton road. At heron we went East on the A50 and we saw an unidentified white Iveco minibus and onto the A50 Link Road. We turned left onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street and to our destination. In the morning Matthew spent time making a chocolate cake which he cover with icing and sprinkles. For dinner Matthew had Beefburger and fries followed by a drink of Coke. In the afternoon we were going to the pub... Transport for the journey was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We got on the bus and sat down. The bus set off onto Glebedale Road and then left onto City Road. At the bottom of city Road we turned left onto the A52. By the railway station we continued onto the A52 and we turned left onto Boughey Road. We turned right onto Ridgeway Road and we went forwards onto Harding Road past the YMCA. We joined Regent Road. On the Hinde Street bus layover we saw Routemaster Buses 4993 UG about to work the #79 to Nantwich. We turned right onto a side street and we wound our way over onto Lichfield Street and to our destination. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 63098 on a #6 to Hanley.

Matthew listened to the music on the Jukebox. Songs included Nikita by Elton John, Westlife's version of Uptown Girl, Agadoo by Black Lace and Achy Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cirus... Real party tunes... :) When it was time to go Matthew got back aboard Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Palmerston Street and we turned right onto the A52, and left onto Victoria Road. At the top of Victoria Road we went forwards onto City Road and right onto the A50 link road where we saw an unidentified white Mercedes minibus at the Lightning Travel depot on Mason Street. We joined the Westbound A50 which we did to the Britannia Stadium. We went onto Stanley Matthews Way and at the end left onto the A5035. We turned left into Blurton and Matthew got home around 14:45. Matthew had toast and a drink of orangeade whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. I had seen the turn earlier in the day and it was booked to be dud First Potteries 67641. It turned the corner and as expected it was dud First Potteries 67641.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off and we turned right onto the A5035. The bus in front of us was empty so Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67641.

We crossed over the railway line and we saw First Potteries 67639 on the #22 to Longton and Free Spirits MV05 YMM. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we ran up to Hanford. At thr bottom of Church lane we saw minibus BU07 KGV parked uo in a yard, We joined the A34 and we ran under the A500 into Trent Vale. As we approached the pub we saw First Potteries 41520 on a #21A to Trentham Gardens. We turned into Harpfields Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67641 before it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked back onto the A34 and we saw The Redeemed Christian Church of God minibus VN05 CKK in it's usual parking space. On the way to the pub, we saw mum go past us and pull into the car park. At the pub Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included First Potteries 67631 on the 3rd #22 turn, First Potteries Raspberry liveried Scania 65035 on a Hanley bound #101 service, First Potteries 65729 on a Stafford bound #101 service, Stanton's of Stoke coach 5658 RU going Northwards & ABC Supreme P881 RND going South. When it was time to go we got in the car to go and pick up uncle Dave. We went South down the A34 and we turned left onto the A500. As we traveled North we saw National Express liveried coach FJ11 GKD, also going North on a #540 service following Alfa Coach 83. We came off the A500 at Sideway and we went East on the A50 up to Heron Cross and we turned left into Fenton. In Fenton we First Potteries 41512 on a #23A service to Hanley. After picking up uncle Dave we headed back to Heron Cross. In Blurton we saw First Potteries 43876 on a #23 to Hanley. We went forwards into Blurton and parked up at Blurton Garage was Lucky Seven SJ55 LSK. We climbed the hill and we went forwards onto Church Road before turning right into Beaconsfield Drive where we saw First Potteries 67641 & 67639 on #22's. We got home around 18:00. Matthew then chilled out on his computer until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
