Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00. He got dressed and had a giant crumpet and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We got on the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. We crossed the railway line and we went into Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we picked up another service user before going back onto the A5035. In Blurton we turned left into Church Road and we went forwards onto Blurton Road. At Heron Cross we joined the A50 and then we did the A50 link Road into Fenton. We turned left onto City Road and left again into Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew was going on a sponsored walk in Longton Park in aid of Sports Relief. Transport for the journey to Longton Park was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We set off onto Glebedale Road and right onto City Road. We turned right onto the A50 link road and we joined the Eastbound A50. We came off the A50 at Longton and we ran along the high level road to the next roundabout and onto the A5035. We ran down to Dresden and we turned into Queens Park Road were we parked up. At the parked Matthew used the toilet before undertaking the 1 mile walk. After we had finished they got back on Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We went down to the A5035 and we headed up towards Longton. We joined the A50 and we ran down to Heron Cross. We cam off and went along the Link Road up to City Road. We turned left and left again onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. For dinner Matthew had MacDonalds beefburger & fries and a drink of Coke. After they finished eating we got back onto Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road and then left onto Victoria Road. At Joiners Square we went straight across onto Lichfield Street and to the destination. At the pub Matthew went to the toilet and had a drink of Coke. Highlights of the sightings included Lucky Seven minibus SH08 JFZ.

Matthew listened to the Jukebox where song played included Homely Girl by UB40. When it was time to go Matthew got back aboard shelton Care Group DV10 JCU for the trip back home. We turned onto Lichfield Street and at Joiners Square we turned right onto the A52. We ran past the station to City Road and we turned right under the railway and into Stoke town centre. We went around the one way system and onto London Road. In Boothen we saw Harris Coachways YX06 AXR. We continued down to the A34 and we turned left. We crossed under the A500 and into Hanford, We turned left onto Church Lane and right onto Wilson Road. At the end we turned left onto New Inn Lane. After dropping off another service user we continued along New Inn Lane and then left onto the A5035. Matthew got home just before 15:00. Matthew had toast and a drink of dandelion & burdock whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. I had seen the turn earlier in the day and it was booked to be dud First Potteries 67632. It turned the corner and as expected it was dud First Potteries 67632.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road. The bus was nearly empty, so before we sat down Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67632.

We turned right onto the A5035 and we crossed the Railway into Trentham. We turned right onto new Inn Lane and we ran up into Hanford. We turned right onto Wilson Road and then we went down the hill passing First Potteries 41540 on a #21 service. We joined the A34 and we saw First Potteries 65041 on a #101 to Hanley. We crossed under the A500 into Trent Vale and the bus turned right into Harpfields Road where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew then took another picture of First Potteries 67632 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked back onto the A34 an as we walked down to the pub we turned to see the former Stanley Head minibus R201 LRF going South.

Behind the minibus was First Potteries 42553 on a #22 to Longton.

On the other side of the road side of the road Bostocks VIP coach YXI 7923 snuck past going Northwards. When we got to the pub mum was waiting for us. At the pub Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included First Potteries 67636 on the 3rd #22 turn, First Potteries Raspberry liveried Scania 65037 on a Stafford bound #101 service, First Potteries 65729 on a Stafford bound #101 service, Stanton's of Stoke coach 5658 RU going Northwards & ABC Supreme E331 EYC going North. When it was time to go we got in the car to go and pick up uncle Dave. We went South down the A34 and we turned left onto the A500. We came off the A500 at Sideway and we went East on the A50 up to Heron Cross and we turned left into Fenton. In Fenton we First Potteries 41512 on a #23A service to Hanley. After picking up uncle Dave we headed back to Heron Cross. In Blurton we saw First Potteries 53041 on a #23 to Hanley. We went forwards into Blurton and we climbed the hill and we went forwards onto Church Road before turning right into Beaconsfield Drive where we saw First Potteries 67632 & 67636 on #22's. We got home around 18:00. Matthew then chilled out on his computer until bedtime around 01:30... Mark
