Today Matthew was in respite and was going to the day centre and I was going to Cumbria to ride on the train. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. Whilst we waited for the bus we saw First Potteries 37160 on a #26 to Hanley. Just before 09:00 the bus turned up to take Matthew to the day centre and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We went downstairs past the construction work and we saw some old chairs been taken away on a lorry. We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Dividy Road. We headed into Bucknall and we turned left onto the A52. We followed the A52 to the left and at Joiners square we turned left onto Victoria Road. At the top of Victoria Road we turned right onto City Road and then left into Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew spent time on the computer. For dinner he had Pizza followed by Coconut cake. In the afternoon Matthew went swimming in Fenton. Matthew normal walks to the baths, but today we went on Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We went on to Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. We crossed over the railway line and we turned right onto the private road on which the baths are situated. We parked up near to the baths and we saw Copeland's Tours coach MIB 278

Matthew went swimming and when he finished we returned to the minibus to go back to respite. We climbed back aboard Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off back onto City Road and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street and to our destination. We had a brief stop at the day centre and then we carried on. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we continued onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street and we went through Heron Cross and over the A50 onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton along along Blurton Road and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we crossed over the railway line into Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we dropped another service user off before returning onto New Inn Lane. We re-joined he A5035 and we ran out of Trentham in Blurton. We carried on through Dresden and into Longton. We crossed the A50 and we went past the Gladstone Pottery Museum and over Uttoxeter Road. we went onto Bridgewood Street and then left onto Forrester Road. At the end we turned right onto Anchor Road. We climbed the hill and then over the other side into Adderley Green. At the roundabout we went left onto the A5272 and we ran into Bentilee and to the respite place. Back at respite Matthew went up to his room where we saw Stanton's of Stoke Ford minibus GX60 RHV.

For tea Matthew had mash followed by ice cream. After tea Matthew went out to Burslem Park on Meadows DX65 DMO. We set off onto Dividy Road and we ran down to the A52. We joined the Westbound A52 ans we carried straight on Bucknall Road. We turned right and went past Northwood Stadium and we joined the A5272 at Townsend. We ran through Sneyd Green to Smallthorne and then we went down Moorland Road to the park. In the park Matthew fed the ducks. After we finished we got back onto Meadows DX65 DMO for the return journey. We went up Moorland Road to Smallthorne where we turned right onto the A5272. We ran through Sneyd Green and at Townsend we went left onto Keelings Road. We joined Bucknall Road and we went straight across the junction onto the Eastbound A52. At Bucknall we turned right onto Dividy Road and back into respite. Matthe then sepnt some time watching television and using his tablet. Matthew had a bath and then had some toast for super before going to bed around 23:00... Mark
