Trip to Congleton / Smallthorne 09-01-2018

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out for tea. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. Before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. Whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. Across the road we saw First Potteries 63175 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and then left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and forwards onto the A52 and under the railway line. We turned right onto the Northbound A500 and we ran up through Etruria and Longport to Talke. We came of the A500 onto the A34 and we ran Northwards up to Talke Pits. We cintinued onto the A5011 and forwards onto the A50. We ran past the Stanways Coaches depot and we turned right onto Church Lane. At the end we turned left onto the A34 and we ran to the edge of Congleton. We turned left onto Padgbury Lane and we stopped at the pub. Matthew had a chicken burger and fries with a glass of Coke. He also had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When we had finished we returned to Fenton on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Padgbury lane and we joined the Southbound A34. We ran South for a few mile past Kidsgrove and Talke Pits and we followed the road to the left and down to Talke where we joined the Southbound A500. We ran South through Longport and Eruria and we came off the A500 at Stoke. We went along the A52 under the railway line and forwards onto City Road up into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and use his computer. We also looked out of the window we saw Autocabs DX08 NND going towards Stoke.

Later on we went out for tea at the Moorland Inn in Z Carz DG10 VMO. We set off onto Temple Street and left onto Christchurch Street we saw Stanton's of Stoke KN61 EYG. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill to the A52. We went Eastwards towards the railway station and we carried on towards Joiners Square. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran anti-clockwise around the ring road we saw First Potteries 67640 on a #7A to Hanley. We came off onto Town Road and we ran into Birches Head and onto the Northbound A5272. We ran through Sneyd Green up to Smallthorne and we turned left onto Moorland Road and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. For dinner Matthew had a BBQ chicken burger followed by a chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. Once we had finished we returned to Fenton. We set off onto the A5272 and we ran southwards to the edge of Hanley. We ran clockwise around the ring road and we turned left onto Lichfield Street. We ran down to Joiners square and we went right onto the A52. We ran into Stoke and we turned left onto City Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in respite and he was going into his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. The bus came to pick Matthew up for his day service. When it appeared it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Dividy Road. We went up to Adderley Green and we turned right onto Anchor Road. We followed the one way system around Longton and we crossed over the A50 before going along the the high level Road. We joined the A50 and we came off again at Heron Cross. We turned right on the second roundabout and through the traffic Lights onto Heron Street. We continued forwards onto Station Bridge Road and then we turn left onto Christchurch Street before reaching our destination. In the morning Matthew went in the sensory room and used the computers. For dinner Matthew had Potato Waffles and chips followed by cake. After dinner Matthew was going to the YMCA. His transport for that journey was Shelton Care Group BU05 EWX. We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Glebedale Road. We turned left onto City Road and we went down the hill towards the railway before turning right onto the A52. We went forwards onto Station Road and then right onto Stoke Road. We stopped at the petrol station and we saw Intercity YK07 NYX. Once we had filled up we went left onto Stoke Road and right onto Avenue Road. We turned left onto College Road and we continued onto Regent Road before we turned right Harding Road. We parked up at the YMCA and Matthew got a picture of Shelton Care Group BU05 EWX.

At the YMCA Matthew played football and generally chilled out. When it was time to go we got back aboard Shelton Care Group BU05 EWX. We got onto College Road and we headed towards the railway station. We went past the railway station along Station Road and left onto the A52. At Joiners Square we crossed the roundabout and continued along the A52. At Limekiln Bank we turned right and carried on along the A52 and we saw Stanton's of Stoke GN57 MFZ going to Blackfriars college. We went as far as the Esso petrol station where we turned right onto the A5272. We went right the way up to the Wagon and Horses roundabout and we did a u turn and we went back down Dividy Road to respite. Once we got there Matthew got off the bus and we saw Stanton's of Stoke KN61 EYG.

Matthew went for a ride up to a soft play area in Hanley. The transport turned up and it was Stanton's of Stoke BX07 NWB. We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Dividy Road. We traveled down to the A52 and we turned left. At Limekiln Bank we went straight on and up toward Hanley. We went around the ring road Clockwise as far as Etruria Road and then we turned left and went under the A53 into festival park. We went to the end of Festival Way and then turned around. We went back under the A53 and back onto Etruria Road before arriving at the destination. When we got there Matthew went to the toilet. After spending some time in the soft play area they got back on Stanton's of Stoke BX07 NWB for the return journey. We set off back onto Etruria road and then we turned left onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We around around to Limekiln Bank and then we went down the hill to Bucknall. We continued straight onto the A52 and then right onto Dividy Road. We went into Bentilee and to our destination. Matthew went inside and went upstairs. For tea Matthew had potatoes followed by apple crumble and custard. Matthew chilled out watching television and using his computer. Later on he had a bath and went bed around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in respite and he was going to his day service. Matthew got up and had some toast for breakfast. He waited in his room for the bus to arrive. Picking up another client was Stanton's of Stoke KN61 EYG.

Shortly afterwards Matthew transport appeared and it was one of his usual buses, Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and and the bus set off onto Dividy road and towards Adderley Green. At the roundabout we turned right onto anchor Road and down into Longton. We went around the one way system, over the A50 and onto the A5035. We did the A5035 through Dresden, Blurton and into Trentham. We turned right onto New Inn Lane and we went into the estate to pick up another service user. We headed back onto the A5035 and we turned left into Church Road. We carried on through Blurton and over the A50 and through Heron Cross. We go into Heron Street and over the railway line. We turn left into Christchurch Street and to our destination. In the morning Matthew spent time in the sensory room and he used a computer. For dinner Matthew had shepherds pie followed by cake. In the afternoon Matthew went in the minibus to the North Staffs Adventure Playground. We went on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. The bus went onto Glebedale road and then left onto City Road. We continued down onto the A52 and over the A500. We went through Stoke around the one way system and continued out of the other side on the A52 through Hartshill. We continued into Newcastle onto George Street and we saw Stanways N408 MPN. We continued on Ryecroft and over the roundabout towards Knutton. We turned at Poolside and we got to the Playground via Dunkirk and Castle Hill Road. It was a nice day so they played outside and Matthew used the toilet too. Matthew also spent time in the soft play area. Matthew also made a mobile out of shells. When it was time to go we got back Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. The bus left the playground and we got back onto Ryecroft via Poolside and Knutton Lane. We went around the one way system on the A52/A53 and we joined the A52 to run down into Stoke. In Stoke we went around the one way system along Eleanora Street and Glebe Street and we crossed over the A500 onto City Road. We carried on until we got near to the top of City Road and we turned right into Glebedale Road and to our destination. After a quick stop at the day centre Matthew got back on the bus Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX for the trip back to respite. There had been a change of staff and Matthew didn't tell them he was meant to be in Bentilee and not in Blurton! We set off onto Christchurch Street an right onto Station Bridge Road and Heron Street. In Heron Cross we went straight across onto Blurton Road and over the A50. We carried on into Blurton along Blurton Road and forward onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Road and arrived home just before 15:00. Unfortunately Matthew wasn't due home today! He gave us the mobile that he made out of shall and then he got back on the bus for the trip to respite... We set off onto the A5035 and we turned right towards Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we dropped off another service user before going back up the A5035 through Blurton, Dresden and into Longton. We crossed the A50 and we went down the Strand before turning right onto Market Street. We turned left onto Anchor Road and we headed up to Adderley Green. At the roundabout we turned left and went to Bentilee and to our destination. Matthew went to his room to wait for tea. Whilst there we saw Jayjays Travel minibus NH57 FXT dropping off another service user.

For tea Matthew had chips and beans followed by cake. Matthew watched television and used his tablet computer before having a bath. Afterwards he chilled out in his room until bedtime at 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in respite and he was going into his day service. Matthew got up and had some breakfast. Whilst he waited for his bus to appear, he took a few pictures out of the window. we saw Stantons of Stoke KN61 EYG.

A few minutes later Jayjays Travel PO58 XFX came to pick up another service user.

Eventually Matthew's bus appeared and it was his usual transport, Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

The bus set off onto Dividy Road and headed down to the A52. We turned left onto Victoria Road and then right onto manor Street. At the end of manor Street we turned left and then right onto Glebedale Road and we reached our destination. In the morning Matthew went into the sensory and spent time using a computer. for dinner Matthew had beans on toast. After dinner they went for a ramble. They headed into Fenton along Masterton Street. They stopped at the shop and Matthew had a bottle of Coke. They went onto Smithpool Road. We saw First Potteries 53209 on a #23A service.

They walked through the park and came out on Grove Road. We walked towards Heron Cross and then went onto the footpath over the A50. We walked down the path down the hill alongside the A50 and we went to the Britannia Stadium. We went to the harvester and Matthew had a drink of Coke and used the toilet. We walked back to the path by the A50 and we crossed over the road. Instead of going let to grove Road we went right towards Heron Cross. We walked onto Bourne Street and we saw Copeland Tours MIB 797 on a #40 to Longton.

We crossed over the cross Road and we walked down Heron Street. We then saw First Potteries 41514 on a #23 to Newstead.

We carried on down Heron Street and we crossed over the railway line before turning left onto Christchurch Street. We then saw First Potteries 53828 on a #23 to Hanley.

We stopped at the Bench and Bar for another drink of Coke. We then walked back to the day centre. The transport back to Bentilee was Shelton Care Group NL61 VSG. We set off onto Glebedale Road and into Heron Cross. We cross over the crossroads and over the A50 into Blurton. We went along blurton Road and Church Road and onto the A5035. We turned right and we headed to Trentham. We turned right again onto new Inn Lane and right again onto Pacific Drive. We dropped another service user off and we head back onto the A5035. In Longton we crossed the A50 and we jinked around the edge of Longton down Chadwick Street and Bridgewood street. We turned onto Sutherland Road and then we turned right onto Anchor Road. At the other end of Anchor Road we turned left towards Bentilee. We travelled around a mile to the respite centre and I took a picture of Shelton Care Group NL61 VSG.

I went up to my room for a while to watch the other buses arrive. We saw Blackfriars Mercedes minibus CN59 AEW.

Trip to Bucknall / Newcastle 16-07-2014

Today Matthew was in respite. We got up and Matthew had toast for breakfast. There were a couple of buses outside respite today. First there was Stantons of Stoke KN61 EYG.

Behind that was Matthews transport to college, Stantons of Stoke BV51 ENL.

We got on and sat down. The bus left and went down to the A52 before turning into College. For a snack whilst at college Matthew had chicken sandwiches with an angel slice and a carton of orange juice. for dinner Matthew had potatoes and carrots followed by ice cream. After spending a day at college Matthew got back on Stantons of Stoke BV51 ENL for the journey back to respite. They headed out onto the A52 before going into Bentilee. When Matthew got back he had some tea. sausage and mash for tea and then got dressed in his suit to go to his college leaving prom. We saw Inter city KX09 DGY. We picked him up at 18:30 and we drove down to the A52. We turned towards Hanley and then climbed towards Hanley. We went around the ring road before heading down Shelton New Road. At the edge of Newcastle turned right before turning left to join the A53. We then pulled up in the car park of the borough Arms were we had his do. We had pictures taken with his on his smart suite and we said goodbye. Matthew had a good time at the party and said goodbye to his friends and teachers. At 22:00 we came to pick him. We drove out of the car park and around the one way system onto the A52. We drove to the top of Newcastle before going down Shelton New Road to the edge of Hanley. We drove around the ring road and Down Limekiln Bank and onto the A52. We then turn towards Bentilee and we dropped him off around 22:20 Matthew then got ready for bed... Mark

Today Matthew was in respite. Matthew got up and After he had breakfast the bus came to pick him up for college. It was his current usual bus, Stantons of Stoke BV51 ENL.

We got on the bus and it set of onto Dividy Road. The bus went to twigs street and then cut onto the A52 before heading down Newhouse Road. We got off and went into college. Today we were going down to a soft play area in Stafford. The bus turned to take us and it was Z Carz Mercedes minibus S952 VMY. We got on and sat down at the front of the bus. The bus set off towards the A52 and into Stoke. We then went South on the A500 which we did down to A34. Once on the A34 we went South through Trentham and past Stone and into Stafford. We carried on through Stafford town centre and out the other side. just beyond Radford bank Inn we turn onto Weeping Cross for the last couple of miles before we reached the soft play area. Whilst there Matthew went to the toilet and spent time in the soft play area. He also had a sandwich. Just before dinner hey got back onto Z carz S952 VMY for the return journey. The headed back towards Stafford on the A513 and then onto the A34 at Weeping Cross. they passed through Stafford town centre before going North on the A34 up to Hanford. At Hanford they got on the A500 which they did to Stoke. They then headed back to Bucknall along the A52. When we got back we had dinner which was cheese oatcake followed by cake & custard. after afternoon lessons they went out to find Stantons of Stoke BV51 ENL was ready to take them back to respite. We headed back onto the A52 and cut through to Twigg Street and onto Dividy road. When we got back Matthew headed up to his room to get his camera. in the car park was one of Stantons of Stoke's newer vehicles, KN61 EYG.
