Trip to Longton / Birches Head 11-12-2018

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going to the disco later. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 67156 on a #23 to Hanley. we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

In the morning Matthew we on the computer. For dinner Matthew had a jacket potato with tuna followed by a Bakewell tart. in the afternoon Matthew went to JTF on the bus. We set off on foot onto City Road and we saw Phil Smith Travel WPF 926. At the roundabout we turned right and walked past KFC and into JTF. Matthew went upstairs to the cafe and had toast and a drink of Coke. When we had finished we walked back to the residential. We set off past KFC and onto City Road before turning left into Christchurch Street and onto Temple Street. Back at the house Mathew had some toast and then chilled out in his room on his computer.

Later on Matthew went tea out to Longton car. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto City Road. We ran up onto King Street past an old pub which has now been reopened as something else. and into Longton under the railway bridge. We turned right into baths Road and we did a u-turn over the A50 and into the retail park. We stopped at Pets at Home to pick up food for the rabbit. Afterwards we went to the Pepper Mill for a drink. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. For tea Matthew had a burger and fries followed by a red velvet cheesecake. Afterwards we returned to Fenton in car. We ran onto baths Road and we did a u-turn on the roundabout outside Tesco. We ran onto the A50 and we ran West along the A50 to Heron Cross. We joined the A50 link Road and we ran up to City Road. We turned left into Smithpool Road and left again into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We then went by car to the disco. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We went straight on onto manor Street and at the end we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A52 and we ran North to Bucknall. We went straight cross onto the A5009 and we ran up through Abbey Hulton. We turned left onto Birches Head Road and we stopped at the disco. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. After a session on the dance floor Matthew returned home in a car. We set off onto Birches Head Road and we turned right onto the A5009. We ran through Abbey Hulton and into Bucknall. We ran forwards onto the A52 and at joiners Square we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran up the hill and we turned right into Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and then left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Later on Matthew had a bath and then toast and orange juice for supper.He chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today we decided to re-visit Middleton. As one of the shortest days we didn't want to go anyway too far away and too difficult to get to. Mum also wanted to get her hair done at the shopping centre. As we knew where we were going and what we were doing we did no research for this trip, we didn't even check the weather. Matthew got up around 10:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. As I had done a night shift the night before mum drove up to Middleton. We set off just before 12:00 and we ran onto the A5035. We continued over the railway line into Trentham and we joined the Northbound A34. We turned left onto Whitmore Road and we crossed over the Trent and ran up towards Hanchurch. We turned right onto the A519 and we joined the Northbound M6. Travelling up the M6 we saw Park's of Hamilton (NX) LSK 838(#540), Robinson Executive Travel W6 RCT, Caledoniian Travel LSK 508, Jarvis Coaches YX07 AVJ, Global Travel BIG 9854 & Stanley Coaches Y2 STX. We ran up to Junction 19 and we got onto the Eastbound A556. We continued for a few miles and we ran forwards onto the M56. As we travelled Eastwards we saw an unidentified coach on National Express(#328). We took the junction to go onto the The anti-clockwise M60 and we circled around Manchester. We ran through Stockport and we passed an unidentified coach on National Express 540. When we got to the right junction we left the M60 and got onto the Eastbound A576. We ran the last couple of miles into middle and at the roundabout we ran forwards onto Limetrees Road. We entered the car park and we parked up. After visiting the toilet in the shopping centre we went outside to a newish cafe called Sub Station. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. Once we had finished we said goodbye to mum and we walked over to the bus station. We saw Stagecoach Manchester 10844 on a #112 to Manchester.

We went into the bus station and we looked for bus to catch. On layover was dud First Manchester 37391.

We spotted required First Manchester 39210 on a #18 to Manchester.

We decided to do this bus so we got on and brought System One bus only tickets at £5.60 each. We went upstairs and the rear of the top deck was empty, so Matthew took a picture inside First Manchester 39210 before we sat down.

The bus set off out of the bus station. We joined the Eastbound A576 and then we went Southwards down the A664. We climbed up the hill out of town and then we ran down hill over the M60 and into Blackley. Further down the road we passed Blackley service station and then we saw a road that we recognised... We passed Old Market Street and the West end of Boggart Hole Clough. We continued Southwards into Harpurhey. We crossed the A6010 and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Manchester 39210 as it continued towards Manchester.

Once off the bus we crossed over the A6010 and then over the A664. to the nearest Northbound bus stop. We didn't have to wait long before we saw a Stagecoach double decker approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was required Stagecoach Manchester 10863 on a #118 to Dam Head.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only ticket to the driver before we went upstairs. The bus set off up the A664 and we turned right onto Lathbury Road. We turned left onto Fernclough Road and we ran forwards onto Church Lane. We turned left onto Upper Conran Street and we stopped behind the shopping centre in Harphurey. We turned right onto Moston Lane and we ran up through Moston. We ran for around a mile and we turned left onto Charlestown Road. We turned right onto Grange Park Road and we ran up Hall Moss Road. WE continued onto Colmore Drive and we turned left onto Victoria Avenue East. We ran for around 1/2 mile and we turned left onto the A664 where we got up and got off the bus. At the bus stop there a number of youths sheltering for the rain so we decided to walk for to another bus stop. It had pretty much stopped raining so we went Southwards down the A664. As we walked towards the next bus stop we were passed by S Line Travel coach P24 WNL travelling towards Manchester.

We decided to go back Northwards towards Middleton so we could use the toilet. We crossed over the road and we waited at the Northbound stop. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was required First Manchester 37390 on a #17 to Middleton.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only ticket to the driver before we went upstairs. The bus set off up the A664 and we travelled for around a mile to the edge of Middleton. We crossed the roundabout and we entered the bus station. The bus pulled onto the stand and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet and then we decided to go around the bus station and take a few pictures. We saw First Manchester 66912 on layover.

As we approached the bus station we saw a minibus parked up by the bingo hall. We decided to go over and investigate. When we got to the bingo hall we saw it was Rothwells Mercedes minibus FE02 BVN waiting to pick up passengers from the bingo.

Once we had seen the minibus, we walked back into the bus station to see what we could catch next. We spotted First Manchester 66864 on a #59 to Manchester.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we crossed the roundabout onto the A576. We ran the couple of miles down to the M60 and we crossed over and into Blackley we past the East side of Heaton Park. We carried on for another couple of miles and we turned left onto Bury Old Road. It seemed like the centre of Cheetham Hill as it was a busy shopping area so we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went to the world market shop and we brought a couple of cans and a few chocolate bars. We crossed the road and we sat at the stop to wait for a Northbound bus. Whilst we waited Matthew ate a toffee crisp and drank a can of Irn Bru. A few minutes later we saw a double decker approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was required First Manchester 37458 on a #59 to Oldham.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One ticket to the driver before we went upstairs. As this was our fifth bus of the day we decided to do this through Middleton to Oldham and we could do a bus back to Middleton for the last bus. The bus set off up Bury Old Road and we turned right the A576 where we stopped for a short while. he bus carried on along the A576 towards Blackley. We crossed the M60 and we ran the couple of miles into town. We entered the bus station. We left Middleton bus station and we went East out of town along the A669. The weather had now turned and it was starting to snow! A couple of miles out of town we crossed under the railway line by Mills Hill railway station. We carried on another 3 miles or so through Chadderton. We crossed under Oldham Way and we ran up the hill and into the bus station. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Manchester 37458 before it continued towards Rushcroft.

Once we ad got off the bus we walked around the bus station whilst we decided what bus to do next. We saw required Stotts PX55 EFM about to work a #343 to Hyde.

We used the toilet and then we went down to the other half of the bus station. At the bottom half of the bus station we saw MCT YJ13 HLG on a #402 to Royton.

Once we had finished taking picture we walked back up to the top half of the bus station to wait for either a #59 back to Middleton. We saw dud First Manchester 42944 on a #415 to Middleton and we turned it down. Behind it was dud First Manchester 37470 on a #59 to Manchester which we decided to do.

The bus set off out of the bus station and forwards onto Middleton Road. We went under Oldham Way and we ran forwards around a mile into Chadderton. We continued forwards into Mills Hill and we went under the railway line. We ran the last mile or so into Middleton and we entered the bus station. We got off the bus and we had a look around before we returned to mum. We saw First Manchester 37280 about to work a #17 to Rochdale.

We walked into the shopping centre and we met up with mum. We went to the toilet and then we returned to the car. Mum had brought some sausage rolls and a bottle of Irn Bru. We left the car park and we turned left onto Limetrees Road and turned left on the roundabout onto the A576. We entered Tesco and we filled up with petrol. Once we had filled up we rejoined the A576 and we ran Westwards down to the M60. We joined the clockwise M60 and as we ran we saw Swans Travel YH17 YWB. We ran through Stockport and forwards onto the M56. Seen on the M56 were red minibus PJ16 KPZ & Swans Travel YT68 LCO. We jined the Westbound A556 and we ran up the the motorway. At junction 19 we got onto the Southbound M6. As we travelled down the M6 we saw an unidentified JH Coaches coach, Malbank Coaches YN58 CFP, Stanway's BIG 7013, white minibus HK56 UZO, ABC Supremen KX13 DZL and an unidentified white Jones coach. At junction 16 we left the M6 and joined the Southbound A500. Seen on the A500 were a handful of unidentified Tyrer coaches, an unidentified Ellison's coach and an unidentified AVA Coaches coach. At Sideway we came off the A500 and we joined the Eastbound A50. At Longton we ran along the high level A50 and we did a u-turn at the East end of town to see what was parked up at Z Carz. We turned left into Willow Row and we saw Z Carz Renault minibus BU04 GYW in the compound.

We ran Westwards along the A50 and we cam of at Heron Cross. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton. We continued up to Church Road and we turned right into Beaconsfield Avenue and back home at 19:30. For a late tea bangers and mash with carrots followed by jam filled shortbread biscuit. We did an e-mail and we wrote some of the Blog. Matthew went to bed around 00:00.... Mark.

Trip to Fenton / Newcastle 07-12-2018

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. he was going to see Grandma later on and going to the pub and returning to Blurton for a long weekend. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Around 09:00 we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Paul's of Stoke Y11 POS parked up near to the catholic school.

n the morning Matthew did some baking. He made a chocolate cake with chocolate butter cream filling. For dinner Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. After dinner Matthew went to the pub. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a glass of Coke. When it was time to go Matthew walked onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. I turned up around 14:30 just after Matthew. We went upstairs to his room to get ready to leave. We got things ready and we left the residential unit just after 15:00. We went downstairs and we got into the car. We drove onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and right onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street and into Heron Cross. We went through the traffic lights and forwards onto Blurton Road. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Street. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive. We got home around 15:00. When we got home Matthew had toast and a glass of Irn Bru. Today we were catching the 15:56 to Newcastle as we were going to the pub via Grandma's House. We set off around 15:45 on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. The bus was a little late today due to traffic. When the bus appeared it was First Potteries 67632 on a #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle and sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035 and we saw First Potteries 67658 on a #22 to Longton. We went over the railway line into Trentham. We ran up the hill into Hanford. We turned right into Wilson Road. We ran down Church Lane passing First Potteries 67654 on the final #22 turn and we continued down onto the A34. We crossed under the A500 passing First Potteries 67603 on a #21 to Trentham. and we ran into Trent Vale. We turned right into Harpfields Road. We continued forwards on Hilton Road passing D&G 159 on a #9 to Biddulph. we turned into the hospital. We ran through and we saw First Potteries 32639 on a #25 to Hanley and ABC Supreme ST56 MUE. We turned right onto the A34. A couple of stops down the road we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 67632 as it continued towards Newcastle.

Once off the bus we saw D&G Bus 159 which was right behind us on the #9 to Biddulph.

We walked up the hill to Grandma's house. At Grandma's Matthew had a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. When it was time to go we went to the pub in the car. We set off just after 17:40 and we ran down Victoria Street. We turned left onto the A34. We continued southwards into Trent Vale and we stopped at the pub. We walked into the pub and it was very busy, so we weren't able to sit down at our normal table. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with custard. Once we had finished eating we set off to uncle Dave's to pick him up. We ran down the A34 and we joined the A500 at Hanford. We went North up the A500 to Sideway and we went Eastwards along the A50. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross. We dropped down into Fenton to pick uncle Dave up. Once we had picked him up we ran up to Heron Street and we crossed over the A50. We continued into Blurton along Blurton Road. We turned right onto Church Road and we turned right into Beaconsfield Drive. We got home around 19:30. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we composed a few e-mails and sorted a few things out. We then chilled out on the sofa doing e-mails and writing the until bedtime around 01:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. Later on Matthew was going to his Christmas party. It was also the opening date for Lidl's HUGE new Stoke-on-Trent store and shoppers will be able to pick up these bargains. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw First Potteries 63174 on a #11 to Newcastle. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX parked outside.

In the morning Matthew went to Longton. We went outside and we got in a car. We set off onto Glebedale Road and right onto City Road. We went past KFC and we turned right onto the A50 link road. We turned left at the roundabout and we joined the Eastbound A50. We came of the A50 at Longton and we ran along the high level A50 and we turned right onto the A5035 and into the supermarket. Matthew went into the supermarket and brought his weekly shopping. Once we had finished we set off onto te A5035 and we joined the high level A50. We went onto the A50 proper ans we came off at Heron Cross. We turned right onto the A50 link road and left onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and back to the day centre. For dinner Matthew had ham sandwich followed by a Bakewell tart. In the morning Matthew went to JTF on foot. We set off onto Glebedale Road and right onto City Road. At the roundabout we turned left and walked past KFC and into JTF. Matthew went upstairs to the cafe and had toast and a drink of Coke. When we had finished we walked back to the day centre. We set off past KFC and onto City Road before turning left into Christchurch Street and onto Temple Street. Back at the house Mathew had some toast and then chilled out in his room on his computer. We saw D&G Bus 119 on a #1A to Park Site.

For tea Matthew had ham and sandwiches followed by toffee yoghurt. Later on got ready for his Chrsitmas party. He put on his new jeans and his new Christmas shirt. Later on when it was time to go Matthew went downstairs to get on a bus. Transport for the journey to Hanley was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed City Road onto Manor Street and we ran to the end where we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and across the roundabout onto Lichfield Street. At the top of the hill we turned left onto the clockwise ring road and we ran around to Broad Street. We turned right onto Broad Street and we followed the one-way system onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity Street and left onto Foundry Street and to our destination. we got off the bus and we went into the party venue. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a drink of Coke. Matthew had some party food including some egg sandwiches and some cake. After Matthew had eaten he spent to night socialising with friends and dancing. When it was time to go Matthew went outside to wait for the bus to be brought around. Whilst we waited he saw Shelton Care Group PE67 XEV which stopped to pick up some of his friends.

We walked down Foundry Street and around the corner into Trinity Street. We walked onto Marsh Street and we got into the transport for the journey home Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We ran down Etruria Road and we joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We ran around to by the bus station and we turned right onto Lichfield Street. We ran down to Joiners Square and we went straight across the roundabout onto Victoria Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right into Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street and we turned right into City Road. We turned left into Smithpool Road and left into Temple Street. When we got back to the residential unit we went upstairs. Matthew went to his room to chill out and use his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

In the morning Matthew went to JTF on foot. We set off onto Glebedale Road and left onto City Road. At the roundabout we turned left and walked past KFC. We carried on into JTF. Matthew went upstairs to the cafe and had toast and a drink of Coke. When we had finished we walked back to the day centre. We set off past KFC and onto City Road. We walked up to the bus stop near to Philpott's and we waited for a bus towards Hanley. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67660 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We carried on along City Road and we continued forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Beverley Drive. At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 and we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We ran around to Lichfield Street and we turned right to pull up outside the stop adjacent to the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. We walked down to the stand for the Crewe bus and we waited for the next one. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67631 on a #3 to Crewe. We got on the bus bus and we booked to Alsager before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we went straight across onto Marsh Street. We turned right up onto trinity Street and then left onto Stafford Street. After picking up more passenger outside of Debenhams we followed the road around to the left and then back onto marsh Street. At the roundabout we went straight on onto Waterloo Road and we ran up the hill into Cobridge. We continued into Buslem and through the traffic lights onto Scotia Road. We went past the old Burslem PMT garage and we followed the road around to the left onto Williamson Street. At the corner we turned right onto Tunstall High Street and we continued North onto the A50. We ran through Goldenhill and down the bank into Kidsgrove. We saw First Potteries 65732 on a #3A to Hanley. We ran under the railway line into Cheshire and we crossed over the A34. We continued into Church Lawton and then into Alsager. We cotinued Westwards along the B5077 under the M6 and into Radway Green. We followed the road to the right up Slaughter hill and we continued straigh up into Haslington. We turned left onto Crewe Road and we re-joined the B5077 towards Crewe Green. We crossed over the roundabout onto the Westbound A534 and we ran towards Crewe railway station. We past the railway station and we continued for around 1/2 mile before turning right into Edlestone Road. We ran into town crossing over the railway line and forwards onto Chester Bridge. We followed the road around onto Delamere Street and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked to the pub. We went to the pub on the corner of the street. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. For dinner Matthew a had a burger and fries followed by a warm chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. After we had finished we walked back through the bus station we saw Arriva NW&W 2951 on layover. We waited for the bus back to Hanley. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 65732. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down. off out of the bus station onto Delamere Street and we followed the road around onto Chester Bridge. We ran forwards onto Edleston Road and we turned left onto the A534. We ran past the railway station and we continued up towards Haslington. We turned right onto Slaughter Hill and we ran back through Radway Green and into Alsager. We continued over the A34 and into Staffordshire and we ran under the railway line into Kidsgrove. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and we continued into Sandyford. We joind Tunstall High Street and then we ran around the town centre and joined Scotia Road near to Asda. We ran up into Burslem and we continued along the A50 into Cobridge. We ran down the hill to the edge of Hanley and we went around the ring road to Town Road and we ran into Hanley. We ran down Quadrant Road and forwards onto Stafford Street. We ran across the shared space past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street. We ran forwards into the bus station. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was First Potteries 63179 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton we sat down. We set off up Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and then we got up and got off the bus. We walked down City Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Once back at the residential unit Matthew went upstairs. Matthew went up to his room to chill out for a while and use his computer. Whilst there we saw Stanton's of Stoke FJ13 CUU.

For tea Matthew had fish and chips with tomato sauce followed by cake. Later on Matthew went downstairs and went shopping in Stoke in an Intercity taxi. We walked onto City Road and we got in the taxi. We set off down City Road and down the hill towards Stoke. We ran forwards onto the A52 and under the railway line. We crossed over the A500 and we ran forwards onto Church Street. We followed the one-way system onto Lonsdale Street and we followed the road to the right onto Flemming Road. We turned left onto London Road and we ran a short distance past Sainsbury's to Iceland. Matthew did his weekly shop and we returned to Fenton in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off along London Road and forwards onto Campbell place. We followed the one-way system to the left onto Church Street and we veered left onto Liverpool Road. We veered right onto Elanora street and we followed the road to the right onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way-system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and we ran forwards onto City Road. We went under the railway line and we ran up City Road into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Later on Matthew had a bath and then toast and orange juice for supper. He chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out to Donnington later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw First Potteries 63098 on a #11 to Newcastle. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX parked outside.

In the morning Matthew went to Telford Wyevale Garden in Donnington on Lucky Seven SJ16 EOV. We got on bus and we set off onto Glebedale Road and we continued onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street we saw First Potteries 42553 on a #23A to Hanley. We went through to Heron Cross. As we ran along Blurton Road we saw Lightning Travel R6 DLT. We travelled through Blurton along Blurton Road and we went forwards onto Church Road. At the end we went right onto the A5035. We crossed the railway into Trentham and we ran down to the A34. We ran around Stafford town centre and at the roundbout we turned right onto the A518. We ran Westwards for around 8 miles until we got to the edge of Newport. We turned left onto the A41 and then right onto the A518. We ran to the North end of Donnington and the main roundabout we turned right onto Station Road. We turned right and into the garden centre. Matthew went to the toilet and in the cafe he had a breakfast washed down with a bottle of Coke followed by a chocolate cake. Matthew spent time soft play area before returning to Fenton on Lucky Seven SJ16 EOV. We set off onto Station Road and we turned left onto the A518. We ran up to the South end of Newport and we joined the Northbound A41 to by-pass the town. We turned right onto the A519 and we ran up to Eccleshall. We continued Northwards through the town and we crossed over the A51. We continued Northwards to Hanchurch and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran up to Stoke and we came off the A500. We turned right onto City Road and we ran under the railway line into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and use his computer. He also watched buses out of the window. We saw First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Hanley.

Later on Matthew went out for tea in Smallthorne in an ABC Supreme taxi. It was ABC Supreme HV18 GVR. We got on the bus and we set off onto temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran past the railway station and on towards Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran up the hill to the ring road. We went anti-clockwise around town and we turned right onto Waterloo Road. We ran through Cobridge up to Burslem and we turned right onto Moorland Road. We ran to the top of the hill and we turned into the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Matthew had a mixed grill burger for tea followed by sticky toffee pudding. when it was time to go home we returned on an ABC Supreme taxi. It was ABC Supreme HV18 GVR again. We got on the bus and we set off onto Moorland Road and we ran down the hill into Burslem. We turned left into Waterloo Road and we ran through Cobridge. At the end we turned left onto the ring road. We went clockwise around Hanley and we turned left onto Lichfield Street. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we crossed over the roundabout onto Victoria Road. We ran up the hill and we turned sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and use his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus later and going out for tea with us. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We walked onto City Road and we walked up to the roundabout and around the corner onto Victoria Road to wait for the bus to Hanley. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63172 on a #6 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off down Victoria Road and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street and we crossed over the ring road. We got up and got off the bus at the stop outside the bus station. Once off the bus we walked into the bus station to wait for a bus to Stoke. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Newstead. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned left onto Station Road and we ran part the railway station before going right onto Glebe Street. After a brief stop we continued forwards onto Glebe Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus. We set off along Glebe Street and we walked around the corner onto Church Street to the One Stop Shop. We couldn't get a bus pass here so we went to Bentilee. We crossed the road to wait for the next #11. A few minutes later it appeared and it was First Potteries 63176 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Bentilee before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Church Street and we crossed over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we climbed up the hill and over the old railway line to Leek. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We stopped outside the old job centre as the #11 no longer calls in the Interchange. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We turned right onto Sutherland Road and we passed blue minibus GN03 MTZ. We turned left onto Weston Coyney Road and we ran up the bank. half way up the bank we turned left onto Farnworth Road. we jinked onto Lindburn Road and we ran to the end turning right onto Amison Street. At the end of the street we turned right onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Beverley Drive where we got up and got off the bus. We walked down to the Bentilee neighbourhood centre and we visited the cafe. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a bottle of Coke.. Once we had the bus pass we returned to the road to catch a bus to Hanley. A few minutes later it appeared and it was First Potteries 67650 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off up Beverley Drive At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We ran around to Lichfield Street and we turned right to pull up outside the stop adjacent to the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67636 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off up Lichfield Street and we turned right into Birch Terrace. We followed the road around to the left onto Charles Street. At the top we turned right onto Old Hall Street before turning right onto the ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. One off the bus we set off on foot onto City Road and we turned left into Glebedale Road. When we got back to the day centre. When it was time to go back to the residential unit Matthew set off on foot onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out and wait for us to pick him up for tea. Whilst he waited he watched buses out of the window. We saw D&G Bus 112 on a #1 to Meir.

A short while later we came to pick Matthew up to go put for tea. We went downstairs and we got in the car. we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and under the railway line into Stoke. We crossed over the A500. We went around the one-way system. We ran up the hill into Hartshill and we continued to the edge of Newcastle. We turned right into Albert Street and we turned right onto the A53. We stopped at the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. Matthew had a burger and chips followed by a chocolate fudge cake and ice cream, washed down with a glass of Coke. After we had finished Matthew visited the toilet again. We returned to the car and we travelled back to Fenton. We turned right onto the A53 and we ran around the one-way system. We turned left onto Barracks Road and we ran past the bus station where we saw First Potteries 67634 on a #99 to Bradeley. We continued down the A34 and we turned left Newcastle Lane. We turned left onto Hilton Street and right on to The Avenue. At the end we turned right onto Hartshill Road passing First Potteries 32633 on a #25 to Keele. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went up to Matthew's room and we wrote some of the Blog. Matthew also drank a can of Irn Bru. After doing a couple of entries I left and Matthew chilled out in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
