Trip to Telford / Shrewsbury 12-10-2019

Today we decided to re-visit Telford. It had been quite a while since Matthew had been, and he had seen that I had to visit Telford the week before with work. Research consisted of checking the area of the Telford Arriva Day Saver and checking the weather which was for mainly dry weather with some cloud and showers. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We set off around 12:00 onto the A5035 and we headed over the railway line into Trentham. We passed First Potteries 63177 on a #22 to Longton. We turned right onto the A34 and we headed North. At the next junction we turned left onto Whitmore Road. We turned left onto the A519 and we ran Southwards. We went under the A519 and we continued Southwards over the A51. We ran through Cotes Heath and we crossed over the West Coast main line at Mill Meece. We continued Southwards for another 3 miles or so and into Eccleshall. We turned right onto High Street and we parked up. We went to Star Cafe and Matthew visited the toilet. For dinner Matthew had sausage egg chips and beans with 2 rounds of bread and butter. He washed this down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we returned to the car and continued towards Telford. We set off along the High Street and we turned left onto Kerry Lane. We turned left onto Shaws Lane and we turned right onto Cross Butts. We turned right onto Newport Road and we headed towards Wootton. As we headed South we passed D&G 170 on a #14 to Hanley. We continued Southwards through Woodseaves and towards Newport. On the edge of town we joined the Southbound A41 where we saw Stafford Grammar minibus YT17 BFX. Just to the South of Newport we joined the A518. We continued South through Lilleshall and Donnington and when we got to Trench Lock we turned left onto the A442. We went under the M54 and we came off the A442 near to Telford Central railway station. We turned right onto Hollinsgate and we accidentally turned left onto Dale Acre Way. After turned the car around we turned right onto Grange Central and We turned right onto Northfield Street. We turned left into the car park and we parked up. We said goodbye to mum and we walked back onto Northfield Street towards the bus station. As we crossed over by the bus station we saw Arriva Midlands 3748 on a #5 to Stafford.

We walked into the bus station and we looked for the toilet. The old entrance to the shopping centre so we walked up and down to try and find a way into the shopping centre. We went out of the bus station past a Costa Coffee and we saw and new entrance. The toilets were right by the entrance. Once we had used the facilities we walked back into the bus station we looked for nsomething suitable to catch and we spotted Arriva Midlands 3793 on a #4 to Leegomery.

We got on the bus and we booked a Telford Day Saver ticket at £4.50 each before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Northfield Street and we turned left onto Grange Central. We ran forwards onto Hollingsgate and we crossed the A442 and we turned into the railway station. After stopping outside the station we returned back to the roundabout and we joined the Northbound A5. We turned left onto the B5061 and we ran West past Wickes and back over the A442. We joined Station Road and we ran North to Oakengates. Outside the railway station we Uxacona Way and we ran Northwards around the town centre and into the bus station. We left the bus station onto Uxacona Way and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Lions Street and we ran out of town and we joined the westbound B5061. We ran West for a couple of miles through Ketley and we went past the Telford United ground where we saw an unidentified York Pullman coach which was the York City team coach. We turned right onto Mill Bank and forwards onto King Street. We crossed the railway line and we turned right onto Victoria Road and we crossed back over the railway line. We then turned right into the bus station, a small terminus next to the railway station. We got off the bus and we had a quick wander around. We visited the toilet at the top end of the bus station and Matthew used the facilities. When we got back into the bus station we had a choice of 2 buses to do. Arriva Midlands 3330 was on a #4 to Madeley and Arriva Midlands 3322 was on a #4 to Leegomery.

We decided to do Arriva Midlands 3322 and we waited for the driver to ready the bus for service. We got on the bus and we put the tickets under that scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto National Cycle Route 81 and we crossed over the railway line. We turned left onto King Street and we ran forwards onto Whitchurch Street. We turned right onto Apley Avenue and at the roundabout we went into the grounds of The Princess Royal Hospital. We ran through the hospital and we turned left onto Grainger Drive passing Arriva Midlands 3793 that we had been on a few minutes previously. At the roundabout we turned left onto Pool Farm Avenue. We turned right onto Leegate Avenue and we ran past Leegomery Pool. As we approached the roundabout we got up to get off the bus. The bus was empty so Matthew took a picture inside Arriva Midlands 3322 before we got off.

Once off the bus we sat at the stop and Matthew a Crunchie from out of the trip bag. We had a 12 minute wait for the next bus on the circuit. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was required Arriva Midlands 3334 on a #4 to Madeley.

We got on the bus and we placed the Telford Day Saver tickets under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off along Leegate Avenue and at the roundabout we turned right onto Grainger Drive. We ran around the housing estate and at the roundabout we continued onto Grainger Avenue back on the main part of the route. We turned right onto The Princess Royal Hospital and we ran through the grounds. We ran forwards onto Apley Avenue and we turned left onto King Street. We turned right onto National Cycle Route 81 and we saw 24/7 Sovereign coach GXZ 4247. We turned into the bus station and we stopped in the bus station for a few minutes. We set off out off the bus station onto Victoria Road and we turned right onto King Street and we ran through town and onto the B5061. We ran East for a couple of miles and we ran into Oakengate. We turned left onto Hartshill and we ran into town. By the railway station we turned left onto Uxacona Way and around the North end of town before entering the bus station. We got off the bus Matthew took another picture Arriva Midlands 3334 before it continued onto Madeley.

Once off the bus we walked into town and we visited the Co-operative food store. Matthew had a small can of Coke and a few chocolate bars. We paid for our stuff and we headed back to the bus station. We sat in the bus stop and Matthew had a Bounty whilst we waited for the bus. A few minutes later we saw required Arriva Midlands on a #5A to Telford.

We got on the bus and we placed the Telford Day Saver tickets under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We ran down Uxacona Way and by the railway station we turned left onto station Road. We crossed over the A442 and we ran East along the B5061 until we got to the A5. We went South over the M54 and we headed to Telford railway station. There we nobody there to get on or off the bus so we came straight back out and onto the roundabout. We crossed over the A442 and onto Hollinsgate before going forwards onto Grange Central. We turned right onto Northfield street and we ran into the bus station. Once off the bus Matthew spotted Arriva Midlands 2989 on a X5 to Shrewsbury. As the bus service appears on the Telford area map I assumed it stopped somewhere with the area.

We got on the bus and we placed the Shrewsbury Day Saver tickets under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Northfield Street. We turned right onto Hall Park Way and we ran down to the motorway. We joined Westbound M54 and forwards onto the A5. We knew we wouldn't be returning to Telford, so arranged with mum to meet us Harlescott. We ran fast for around 20 minutes to the edge of Shrewsbury on to the Southern by-pass. We turned right onto A5064 and we headed Northwards into town. We ran past Lord Hill's Column and we saw Arriva Midlands 2517 on a #8 to Sutton Farm. We ran forwards onto Abbey Foregate and as we approached the Abbey we saw Boulton's YJ04 GYP emerge from a car park on the West side of the road. We went around the English Bridge Gyratory and we crossed over the bridge. We ran forwards onto Wyle Cop and we passed Arriva Midlands 2980 on a #27 to Bayston Hill. We followed the one-way system around town and we turned right onto Barker Street. We turned right onto the A458 and we turned right into the bus station. Once off the bus we crossed over to the layover area. We saw Arriva Midlands 2148 on a #19 to Telford.

We walked into the bus station and Matthew used the toilet. We then returned to the outside stops to take a few pictures. We saw Minsterley Motors YJ65 EVW arriving in town.

We stood by the #64 stop and we watched buses coming and going from the bus station. On stand we saw Arriva Midlands 2500 on a #8 to Sutton Farm.

We looked up the time of the next #24 or #25 bus up to Harlescott. A few minutes later we saw Arriva Midlands 3692 on a #24 to Harlescott.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Shrewsbury Day Saver ticket to the driver for what turned out to be the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. Whilst we waited for departure time we saw Arriva Midlands 3512 on a X70 to Oswestry. We set off of the bus station onto the A458. We joined the A528 and we followed the one-way system under the railway line. We turned left onto the A5191 and we ran Northwards. We turned right onto Newpark Road. We turned left onto Sultan Road and at the end we re-joined the Northbound A5191. We ran North to the roundabout and we turned right on the B5062. We turned left onto Featherbed Lane and right onto Alberbury Drive. We follwed the road through the estate and we turned right onto Featherbed Lane. We turned right onto Arlington Way and we crossed over the A5191 and we ran forwards onto road past the bus garage and Tesco. We stopped behind Tesco and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of Arriva Midlands 3692 before it returned on a #25 to Shrewsbury.

Once off the bus we we walked up towards the car. On the way we saw Arriva Midlands 3693 on a Park & Ride service.

Matthew wanted to go to the toilet, but the toilet block by the Park & Ride was locked up. We got in the car and we drove to KFC. Matthew used the toilet but the KFC app didn't work in the store because there was no wifi! We got back in the car and we decided to drive up to Shawbury to get some chips. We set off out off the Park & Ride sight onto the Northbound A5112. We joined the Northbound A53 and we travelled through Upper Astley for around 5 miles and into Shawbury. We parked up and mum and Matthew went to the Co-operative food store and I went to the chip shop. Matthew brought a bottle of Coke and I brought him sausage, chips and gravy. We met back up at the car and we continued our drive Northwards. As we ran up towards Market Drayton we passed an unidentified Alfa coach. We ran along the Market Drayton by-pass and we continued Northwards towards Loggerheads. we crossed over the A51 and up through Whitmore. We ran Northwards towards Newcastle and we turned right onto Trentham Road. We turned left onto the A519. We joined the Northbound A500 and we ran up towards Sideway. We joined the Eastbound A50 and we ran up Longton. We came off the A50 at Longton and we headed for Z Carz. We turned into Willow Row and we saw Z Carz Peugeot minibus SJ61 OPK.

We turned around and got back onto the A50 and we went Westwards to Heron Cross. We turned left onto Blurton Road past the BP garage which the owners want to re-develop, and we ran through Blurton. We ran forwards onto Church Street and we turned right into Beaconsfield Drive. We got home around 19:00. As we had already had chips in the car, latter on Matthew had a sausage roll and a jam filled shortbread biscuit. We spent time doing the e-mails and doing the Blog. We chilled out on the computer and watching telly until 01:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going to see Grandma later on and going to the pub and returning to Blurton for a long weekend. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Around 09:00 we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We crossed over Christchurch Street and we went through the alleyway onto the carpark. We walked behind the Co-operative food store and through to the day centre. In the morning we went out on foot to catch the bus to Hanley. We set off onto Baker Street and we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX going towards Heron Cross.

We continued onto Glebedale Road and we crossed over City Road. We walked along Fountain Street and we turned right onto Hitchman Street. We turned right onto Victoria Road and we walked to the bus stop to wait for a bus towards Hanley. After a short while we saw First Potteries 47519 on a #6 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off down Victoria Road and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street past the site of the new housing development. Instead of going to the bus stops outside the bus station, we turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station. We got off the bus and we set off along Bagnall Street. We continued onto Cheapside and we turned right onto Piccadilly. We walked up Percy Street and we turned left onto Tontine Street. We went in the pub and Matthew had a drink of Coke. After we had finished in the pub we walked along Tontine Street past the new KFC that is under construction. We went across Tontine Square to Primark and afterwards we went into the Intu Potteries shopping centre. We went down to the market and up to the first floor. We came out of the shopping centre and we walked along Parliament Row and visited Poundland. Afterwards we walked along Town Road and we turned right onto Hillchurch Street. We went to the Great Britain Cafe and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy and a can of Coke. When we had finished we walked back down onto Town Road and along Tontine Street. We continued onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Fenton

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We then walked back to the day centre. Later on we returned to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. Whilst waiting for me to pick him up we saw Stanton's of Stoke 614 WEH going towards Hanley. I arrived just before 15:00 and Matthew got ready to go to Blurton for a long weekend. When went downstairs and we cut through onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus towards Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63171 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards the hospital. A short time later we saw First Potteries 32633 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to the Cherry Tree before going upstairs and sitting down. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road and we saw Taxico TXI 7007 heading towards the Jubilee roundabout. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. We got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 32633 as it continued towards Hanley.

Once off the bus we headed up the hill towards Grandma's. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. He also had a slice of lemon drizzle cake. When it was time to go we went to the pub in the car via uncle Daves house. We set off just after 17:45 and we set off onto Victoria Street. We turned left onto Legge Street and left onto Occupation Street. We turned right onto Parkstone Avenue and we turned left onto The Avenue. At the end we turned right onto Hartshill Road. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. As we waited at the lights we saw First Potteries 65005 on a #25 to Hanley. We crossed over the A500. We turned right onto the A500 and we veered left into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave. We set off back down towards Stoke and onto the A500. We turned left onto Church Street and and we went around the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road and we headed into the West End, passing First Potteries 67158 on a #21 to Hanley. We ran to the end of London Road and we sat at the light waiting to turn right onto the A34. We saw First Potteries 65003 on a #101 to Hanley. We walked into the pub and Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with custard. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included First Potteries 63117 on a #22 to Longton, Shearings 741 heading towards Hanford, First Potteries 65706 on a #101 to Hanley and Destination Courtesy Travel DS15 ABX heading Southwards. Once we had finished eating we set off We carried on along the A34 through Hanford and into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We ran past the site on which they intend to build 126 new houses. We got back around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. We wrote the Blog and we sent a couple of e-mails. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going to Westport Lake. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Matthew watched buses whilst he waited to go out in the morning. We saw First Potteries 63174 on a #11 to Newcastle. Around 09:00 we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Z Carz BN61 RWK. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We got on the bus and we set off onto Christchurch Street and right onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street and into Heron Cross. We went through the traffic lights and forwards onto Blurton Road. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Street. We ran to the end and we turned right onto the A5035. We ran over the railway line and into Trentham. At the roundabout we joined the Northbound A34. We ran up to Hanford and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran through Sideway and Stoke and we continued Northwards beyond Etruria We can of the A500 at Longport and we turned right onto the A5271. At Trubshaw Cross we veered left to stay on the A5271 and we turned left onto Westport Lake Road. We parked up in the car park and we got off the bus. We saw Blackfriars GN60 GZG parked up in the car park.

We had a walk around the lake and we went to the Westport Lake visitors centre. In the cafe Matthew had a can of Coke and a piece of millionaire's shortbread. When we had finished we headed back to the minibus. We saw Paul Antony YN13 CVX.

Transport for the trip to Tunstall was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and we set off onto Westport lake Road. We turned left onto Davenport Road and we ran towards Tunstall. We ran up the High Street and we turned left onto Roundwell Street. We turned left onto Forster Street and we parked up in the Square. We walked around the corner onto the High Street and we saw First Potteries 63097 on a #3 to Crewe. We stopped at Tunstall Cafe and Matthew had gammon and chips. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a can of Coke. When we had finished we walked back around the corner into Tunstall Square. Transport for the trip back to Fenton was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and we set off onto Wesley Street. We turned left onto Farndale Street and right onto High Street. We ran forwards onto the A5271 and we ran down to Trubshaw Cross. We veered left onto the A5271 and ran down to Longport. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A500 and we ran fast through Etruria and Stoke. We came off the A500 at City Road. We went up the hill to Fenton, and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street. In the residential unit we went upstairs to his room and had some toast and used his computer. We also watched buses out of the window. We saw E-zec patient transport YJ16 GHY.

Later on Matthew went out. We went downstairs and we went to Trentham by car. We got in the car and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and left onto City Road. We ran down the hill over the railway line and we joined the A52. We went under the railway and we turned left onto the Southbound A500. We ran down to Hanford and we came off onto the Southbound A34. We turned ran down to the roundabout and we did a u-turn. We went Northwards up the A34 and we turned left onto Whitmore Road. We stopped on whitmore road and we went to a house. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had bangers and mash. When we had finished we returned to Fenton by car. We set off onto Whitmore Road and we turned left onto the Northbound A34. We ran up to Hanford and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran up to Sideway and we turned right onto the A50. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross a we turned left onto Blurton Road. We went through Heron Cross lights and forwards onto Heron Street. We went forwards onto Station Bridge Road and we we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Masterson Street and right onto Watkin Street. We turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. He used his computer and watched music videos on the Television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

In the morning Matthew went out on the bus. We went downstairs and we set off on foot onto City Road and we saw D&G Bus 115 on a #1 to Meir. we crossed over onto Manor Street. At the end of the street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 536. We walked down the hill to the bus stop. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67652 on a #6A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked the Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Victoria Road and towards Joiners Square. At the roundabout we went forwards onto Lichfield Street instead of going to the bus stops outside the bus station, we turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station we saw D&G 157. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew used the toilet. We waited for a bus to Tunstall. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 65728 on a #3 to Crewe. We got on the bus and we booked to Tunstall before we sat down. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we went straight across onto Marsh Street. We turned right up onto Trinity Street and we went past the former RBS now a new shop. We turned left onto Stafford Street. After picking up more passenger outside of Debenhams we followed the road around to the left and then back onto marsh Street. At the roundabout we went straight on onto Waterloo Road and we ran up the hill into Cobridge. We continued into Burslem and through the traffic lights onto Scotia Road. We went past the old Burslem PMT garage and we followed the road around to the left onto Williamson Street. At the corner we turned right onto Tunstall High Street and we continued North onto the A50. We ran through Goldenhill and down the bank into Kidsgrove. We saw First Potteries 65735 on a #3A to Hanley. We ran under the railway line into Cheshire and we crossed over the A34. We continued into Church Lawton and then into Alsager. We continued Westwards along the B5077 under the M6 and into Radway Green. We followed the road to the right up Slaughter hill and we continued straight up into Haslington where we saw Potteries Airport Travel YM19 CFD. We turned left onto Crewe Road and we re-joined the B5077 towards Crewe Green. We crossed over the roundabout onto the Westbound A534 and we ran towards Crewe railway station. We past the railway station and we continued for around 1/2 mile before turning right into Edlestone Road. We ran into town crossing over the railway line and forwards onto Chester Bridge. We followed the road around onto Delamere Street and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked to the chip shop restaurant on the corner of Victoria Street. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards he had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a cup of Coke. The bus station will soon be re-developed should be complete by next year. After we had finished we walked back through the bus station we saw Arriva NW&W 2931 on layover. We waited for the bus back to Hanley. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 65731. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down. off out of the bus station onto Delamere Street and we followed the road around onto Chester Bridge. We ran forwards onto Edleston Road and we turned left onto the A534. We ran past the railway station and we continued up towards Haslington. We turned right onto Slaughter Hill and we ran back through Radway Green and into Alsager. We continued over the A34 and into Staffordshire and we ran under the railway line into Kidsgrove. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and we continued into Sandyford. We joined Tunstall High Street and then we ran around the town centre and joined Scotia Road near to Asda. We ran up into Burslem and we continued along the A50 into Cobridge. We ran down the hill to the edge of Hanley and we went around the ring road to Town Road and we ran into Hanley. We ran down Quadrant Road and forwards onto Stafford Street. We ran across the shared space past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street. We ran forwards into the bus station. We got off the bus and we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was First Potteries 67651 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton. we sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. One off the bus we set off on foot onto City Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. We saw white minibus AK12 LDE going towards Longton.

We ran forwards onto the A5009 and we went under the railway line into Abbey Hulton. We turned right onto Abbots Road and we went past the site of Abbey Hill School where they have now built some houses. We then returned to Fenton on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off along Abbots Road and we turned left onto the A5009. We ran forwards onto the A52 and at Joiners Square we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran up the hill and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a cup of Coke and an ice cream. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we returned to Fenton in Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and we set off onto Victoria Road and we ran towards Joiners Square. We veered left onto Warrington Road and at the end we turned left onto the A52. We ran past the railway station and we ran along side the railway line. We turned left onto City Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw silver minibus DK53 DXG.

In the morning Matthew we out to Hanley on the bus. We set off downstairs and onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. We waited for a bus to Hanley. A short time later we saw a bus turn around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67158 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked onto Lower Bethesda Street and we saw First Potteries 47519 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge. We crossed over the ring road and we walked past the bus station and we saw First Potteries 67658 on a #7A to Biddulph. We walked up Lichfield Street and forwards onto Tontine Street. We stopped at the pub and Matthew had dinner. He went to the toilet and afterwards had a glass of Coke. For dinner Matthew had a burger and fries followed by a slice of chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When we had finished we set off onto Tontine Street and onto Lichfield Street. We walked around the bus station and we saw First Potteries 63097 on a #7 to Kidsgrove. We crossed over the ring road and we walked along Lower Bethesda Street. We turned right onto Regent Road and we waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 44515 on a #23 to Newstead. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We sat off along Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. We turned left onto Stoke Road and we ran down the hill. We turned left onto Station Road and we ran past the railway station. Due to a diversion we turned right onto Station Road and left onto Stoke Road. After crossing the A500 we got onto the one-way system and we turned left onto Copeland Street. We continued forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the road around onto Church Street. We crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We got up and got off the bus by the square. Later on we returned to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We ran around town and we veered left onto Town Road. We ran towards Birches Head and we joined the A5272. We ran through Birches Head and Sneyd Green up to Smallthorne. We crossed over the roundabout and we continued along High Lane. We ran for around a mile and we stopped at the hospital. Matthew went to see a doctor and afterwards visited the toilet. after we had finished we returned to Fenton. transport for the trip back was an Intercity taxi. We set off onto the A5272 and we ran through Smallthorne Roundabouts. We continued through Sneyd Green and into Birches Head. We ran forwards onto Town Road and we joined the clockwise ring road. We ran around to the other side of Hanley and we turned left onto the A50. We headed down to Joiners Square and we turned right onto the A52. We ran towards Stoke railway station and we followed the A52 to the left. We ran alongside the railway line and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs. For tea Matthew had a fish fillet and chips followed by a Bakewell tart. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. We were also going to the Little Dessert Shop in Bath. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Matthew watched buses whilst he waited to go out in the morning. We saw First Potteries 67159 on a #23 to Newstead. Around 09:00 we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We went forwards onto Station Road and at the end we turned right onto Stoke Road. We went up the hill and and to Shelton New Road where we had a brief stop at the other day centre. Once we had finished we returned onto Stoke Road via Caledonia Road and we ran up Snow Hill into Hanley. We went around the ring and we turned right onto Lichfield Street. At Joiners Square we crossed over the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we stopped at Poundstretcher to do some shopping. Matthew went in and brought some chocolate bars before returning to the minibus. We then headed to the pub in Clayton. We set off onto Victoria Road and we crossed over the roundabout Lichfield Street. We got onto the anti-clockwise ring road and we saw Stanton's of stoke minibus ASZ 2120 parked up at Hinde Street. We ran around to Etruria Road and we turned left and headed under the A53 onto Festival Way. After running around the loop of festival Way and Forge Lane we re-joined the A53 and we saw ABC Supreme SJ13 WYD. We ran over the A500 into Basford and we dropped down into Newcastle and went around the one-way system. We went down Barracks Road past the bus station and we joined onto the A519. We ran down to Hanchurch and we got onto the Southbound M6 we ran through Staffordshire into the West Midlands and at junction 8 we joined the Southbound M5. We ran Southwards for around 90 miles and we joined the Eastbound M4. We travelled a few miles to junction 18 and we joined the Southbound A46. We turned right onto London Road West and we ran the last few miles into town. We ran into the town centre and we parked up near to the river. We walked across the road and we visited the new Little Dessert Shop. Matthew went to the toilet and had some dinner. For dinner we visited the food van next to the coach park. Matthew had a bacon and egg sandwich and a can of Coke. when we had finished we returned to Fenton on Z Carz LJ07 PXW. We got on the bus and we set off out of town. We crossed over the river and we headed North up the A36. We veered left onto Bathwick Street and we headed North Eastwards up London Road towards the A46. We joined the Northbound A46 and we ran up to the M4. We ran Westwards for a few miles and we joined the Northbound M5. We travelled Northwards into the Midlands and through Worcestershire. We ran to the end of the M5 and we headed Northwards up the M6. We travelled through the West Midlands into Staffordshire and we came off the M6 at Junction 15. We joined the A519 and we ran North to Newcastle. We ran past the bus station and we joined the Eastbound A53 through Basford and into Etruria. We turned left onto Forge lane and we ran around to Festival Way where we saw Z Carz minibus LV59 DZC at Waterworld. We ran back under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We joined the ring road and we ran around to Lichfield Street. At Joiners square we went across the A52 onto Victoria Road and we ran up to the top and we turned right onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. we went upstairs to his room. Matthew chilled out on his computer. We veered left onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton into Heron Cross. We turned left onto Grove Road and we ran forwards onto Whieldon Road. We went under the railway line and we joined the Northbound A500. We turned left onto Church Street and we ran around Stoke town centre on the one-way system. We turned left onto Lonsdale Street and we turned right onto Flemming Road. We turned right onto Campbell Place and we ran forwards onto Church Street. We ran forwards onto Hartshill Road and we went up the hill through Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill onto the one-way system. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A527. We ran through May Bank. We continued into Wolstanton and at the top of Porthill Bank. We ran forwards into Bradwell and we stopped at the pub. We stopped at the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. For tea Matthew had burger and chips washed down with a glass of Coke. For dessert Matthew had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Whilst we ate we saw D&G 40 on a #94 to Congleton and Harry Shaw coach BL64 MFK. When it was time to go we returned to the car for the trip back to Fenton. We set off onto Bradwell Lane and we crossed over the roundabout and ran through Wolstanton. We ran along the A527 through May Bank. We continued along the A527 and into Newcastle. We turned left onto Ryecroft and right onto Barracks Road. We ran past the bus station and we saw First Potteries 65034 on a #101 to Stafford. We continued along Barracks Road onto the A34. We turned left at the Avenue and we ran up to Hartshill Road. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. Due to the food and drink Festival in Stone, they are operating a Park & Ride in town for the duration of the festival. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned right onto Shelton New Road. We ran down through Etruria an up into Hartshill before joining the A52. We ran into Newcastle down George Street. We joined the one way system and we turned left on the roundabout onto Barracks Road. As we got to the bus station in Newcastle we saw required First Potteries 63172 on a #22 to Longton. bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we ran down through Trent Vale and into Hanford. We continued down through to Trentham and then we got onto the fast section of the A34. We ran through Tittensor to Darlaston past the Darlaston Inn which closed. We continued down the A34 to the North end of Stone. We Veered left onto Newcastle Road and we ran into Stone town centre. As we travelled out of town we saw Stanton's of Stoke 8701 VT on the Park & Ride service. After going around the one-way system and onto Stafford Road. We crossed over the A34 onto Eccleshall Road. We turned left onto Tilling Drive and we ran onto the industrial estate. We saw former Kent County Council minibus GN05 NRF. We rejoined the A34 at the roundabout where the A51 goes Eastwards and we ran Southwards through the fast section on the A34 to the A513 roundabout. We ran the last couple of miles into town down the A34 onto Foregate Street and we turned right onto Chell Road. We crossed the roundabout onto Tenterbanks and we turned right onto Victoria Road. We turned left onto Station Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off through Victoria park and over the river Sow. We crossed over Tenterbanks and we walked along Water Street. We turned right onto Mill Street and we turned left onto Greengate Street. We walked through Market Square and we went forwards onto Gaolgate Street. We turned left onto Stafford Street and we stopped at the cafe. Matthew had sausage & cheese oatcakes washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we walked back along Stafford Street and we turned right onto Gaolgate Street and we stopped at the Yum Yum sweet shop. We brought a few sweets and we continiued down Gaolgate Street and across Market Square. We continued onto Greengate Street and we turned right onto Mills Street. We continued onto Water Street and we cut through Victoria Park and back to the bus stop outside the railway station. We waited for a bus back to Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 65036 on a #101 to Hanley.

We left the bus station onto the A34 and we ran Northwards to the edge of town. We continued up the fast section of the A34 to the edge of Stone and then we turned left onto the industrial estate. We ran around the estate and onto Tiling Drive. We turned right onto Eccleshall Road and we crossed the A34 onto Stafford Road. We turned left onto Crown Street and we stopped at the main stop in Stone. We ran North up Newcastle Road and we re-joined the Northbound A34. We ran Morth through Meaford and Tittensor and up into Trentham. We continued North through Hanford and Trent Vale and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle. We turned right onto bus station we set off onto Barracks Road. We crossed the roundabout onto the A53 and we went onto the one-way system on the A52. We veered left onto George Street and at the roundabout we went onto Shelton New Road. We crossed over the A500 and we ran up to Snow Hill. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We came off the A50 and we turned onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and we veered right onto Church Street. We turned left onto the A5035 and we ran through Dresden towards Longton. We joined the high level A50 and we ran Westwards. We crossed over the A50 and we joined Baths Road. We turned right onto Market Street and left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill into Adderley Green and down towards where the gas works used to stand. We turned left at the roundabout and we ran along Dividy Road through Bentilee. We continued through to Bucknall and we joined the A52. We ran up Limekiln bank and we veered right onto the A5272. We continued through Birches Head and Sneyd Green and we stopped at a pub. On arrival Matthew went to the toilet. For tea Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a glass of Coke. For dessert Matthew had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When we had finished we got in the car and we rejoined the A5272 and we continued up to Smallthorne roundabouts. We turned left onto Moorland Road and we ran down the hill into Burslem town centre. We continued through to Middleport and we turned left at Trubshaw Cross roundabout. We ran through Longport and we joined the Southbound A500. We ran through Etruria and Stoke and we came off the A500 into City Road. We ran up the hill and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out in his room. Later on Matthew had a bath and had toast for supper.
