Today we were going to the pub at Trent Vale. Not before Matthew had been to his day service. Matthew got up just before 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Around 09:00 the bus came to pick us up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We got on the bus and sat down. The bus set off onto the A5035 and we headed through Blurton via Church Road and Blurton Road. In Heron Cross we saw Lightning Travel T2 DLT and we went through onto Heron Street and Glebedale Road before getting to our destination. Matthew took a picture of Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

Matthew spent time in the sensory room and on the computer before having sausage chips and gravy for dinner. In the afternoon we got back on the bus to go to the pub. It was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU once again. We set off onto Christchurch Street and onto Manor Road. We carried on onto Victoria Road. First Potteries 63175 was on the #6B to Blythe Bridge. We crossed the roundabout at Joiners Square onto onto Lichfield Street. We got to the pub and parked up. Matthew used the toilet and had a drink of Coke. We also view some of the buses going past. Highlights of the afternoon were seeing some of the new First Potteries Streetlites working on the #6 'Raspberry Routes'. We also saw Bakers Coaches 201 going towards Hanley.

When it was time to leave we got back into Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU for the journey back to Fenton. The bus went down Lichfield Street and up towards Fenton along Victoria Road. We turned right Manor Street and across into Fenton. When it was time to go home we got back onto Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU and the bus went towards Heron Cross via Heron Street and through Blurton along Blurton Road. The bus turned into Beaconsfield Drive and we got home around 15:00. Matthew had some toast and a drink of orangeade before we set off on foot all the way to Magdalen Road. Whilst we waited for the expected Dart First Potteries 41494, we saw Z Carz minibus PN06 ONM go by.

The roadworks in Trentham still appears to be affecting punctuality on the #22's at the moment. Around 5 minutes late, as expected dud First Potteries 41494 appeared from around the corner.

We got on the bus and booked to Harpfields Road. The bus set off onto A5035 and we passed Scraggs minibus 1655 VT going the other way. In Trentham we passed First Potteries 41500 on the #22 to Dresden, before spotting former First West Yorkshire P246 UCW in the car park of the Man in Space, now converted into a playbus.

We carried on towards Hanford and we overtook First Potteries 41522 on a #21B to Hanley. We joined the A34 and went under the A500 in Trent Vale. We turned right into Harpfields Road and we got off the bus. We got off the bus and Matthew got another picture of First Potteries 41494.

We headed back onto the A34 towards the pub. We saw First Potteries 32633 on a #101 to Hanley and Intercity ND58 EDJ between duties.

We walked into the pub and met up with mum. Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses was Stanton's of Stoke coach CC04 MAL heading towards Newcastle. After we had finished eating we called Uncle Dave and we went to pick him up. We drove along the A34 and onto the Northbound A500. We went East at the A50. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross and we saw Intercity minibus OU59 EFH going towards Blurton. There was some kind of police incident at Heron Cross Heron Street was closed off. We dropped into Fenton. After we had picked up uncle Dave, we headed up to Heron Cross and through Blurton, getting home around 17:40. Matthew chilled out watching bus videos and using his computer before bedtime around 00:00... Mark
