Trip to Fenton / Park Hall 10-02-2016

Today Matthew was in respite and was also going to his day service. He got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Dividy Road. We went South Eastwards towards Adderley Green and then we turned right onto Anchor Road. We saw Stanways OIG 5670. At longton we went around the one way system and then we crossed over the A50 onto the A5035. We ran through Dresden into Blurton and then over the railway line into Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and then right again into Pacific Drive. After picking up a service user we set off back onto New Inn Lane and then left onto the A5035. We ran into Blurton and turned left onto Church Road. At the roundabout we went forwards onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton to the A50 and we joined the A50 Link Road. At the end of the link road we turned left onto City Road and then left onto Glebedale Road to our destination. This morning Matthew was going to do some cooking in Shelton. The transport for the ride up to Shelton arrived and it was required City cabs SF58 UBZ.

We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. At the top we turned sharp left onto Victoria Road and down to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we went forwards onto Lichfield Street and then left onto Regent Road. We continued onto college Road before turning right onto Wellesley Street. At snow hill went forwards onto Shelton New Road an to our destination. In the car park was Shelton Care Group NX13 XDJ.

In cookery Matthew made chicken and bacon followed by a flapjack. Whilst there we saw First Potteries 65033 on a #10 to Hanley. When it was time to go we returned to Fenton in a taxi. We set off onto Cemetary Road and we turned right onto Stoke Road. We turned left onto Avenue Road and right onto College Road. At the railway station we turned left onto Station Road. At the traffic light we went forwards onto the A52 and then we turned left onto City Road. At the top of the hill we turned right onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the afternoon Matthew went to Park Hall. Transport for the journey was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and left onto City Road. We continued Forwards onto King Street and we ran into Longton. We continued onto market Street and then we turned left onto Anchor Road. We climbed the hill into Adderley Green and we turned right onto Park Hall Road. We turned left onto Hulme Road and we parked near to where the visitor centre used to be. Matthew went for a short walk and used the toilet in the toilet block there. After they had finished they went back to the car park where Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX was waiting to take Matthew back to respite. We set off onto Hulme Road and right onto Park Hall Road. At Adderley Green we turned left onto Anchor Road and we ran down the hill to the Co-operative food store. Matthew had a bottle of sprite and then got back onto the bus. We continued down Anchor Road and into Longton. We went around the one way system and then across the A50 onto the A5035. We ran through Dresden into Blurton and then over the railway line into Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and then right again into Pacific Drive. After picking up a service user we set off back onto New Inn Lane and then left onto the A5035. We ran through Blurton and Dresden and back up to Longton. We crossed the A50 and we went up to Anchor Road via Chadwick Street, Bridgewood Street and Forrister Street. We climbed up Anchor Road and at Adderley Green we turned left onto Dividy Road and to our destination. Once back in respite Matthew had chips carrots for tea followed by lemon sponge and custard. Matthew chilled out watching telly, spent time in his room on his computer and watching buses on the main road. Later on he had a bath and then went to bed around 23:00... Mark
