Today Matthew was in respite and he was going into his day service. There was still refurbishment work going on there. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. whilst Matthew was waiting for his on transport to turn up we saw Jayjay's Travel minibus FP58 URX.

A few minutes later Matthew transport appeared and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We set off onto Dividy Road and we ran down to Bucknall where we joined the A52. We followed the road around to the left and we ran into Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned left and we ran up Victoria Road to the top of the hill. At the roundabout we turned sharp right onto City Road and then left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew walked to Tesco. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we crossed Station Bridge Road and and we forwards onto the path the runs along the bottom of pit hill. We crossed over the A50 link Road and we went under the railway bridge and we followed the path adjacent to the railway line that runs up to Longton, past the back of the new TK Maxx building. We crossed over baths Road and we went into Tesco to buy the ingredients to make some almond slice. When we had finished we walked over to the Longton Interchange to catch a bus back to Fenton. The bus turned up and it was First Potteries 63171. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down. The bus set off out of the Interchange and onto baths Road. We turned right under the railway and we went onto King Street. We ran down through Foley into Fenton and we carried on to City Road. We got up and off the bud near to Philpots and we walked around the corner onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. Matthew did some baking and for dinner Matthew had cheese oatcakes followed by almond slices the he had just baked. In the afternoon Matthew spent time in the sensory room and using the computer. When it was time to go home home we got back on board shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we continued onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street and we went through Heron Cross and over the A50 onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton along along Blurton Road and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we crossed over the railway line into Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we dropped another service user off before returning onto New Inn Lane. We re-joined he A5035 and we ran out of Trentham in Blurton. We carried on through Dresden and into Longton. We crossed the A50 and we went past the Gladstone Pottery Museum and over Uttoxeter Road. we went onto Bridgewood Street and then left onto Forrester Road. At the end we turned right onto Anchor Road. We climbed the hill and then over the other side into Adderley Green. At the roundabout we went left onto the A5272 and we ran into Bentilee. After Matthew returned to respite he went out for tea. Matthew went in a Meadows minibus DX65 DMO. We set off along Dividy Road and in Adderley Green we crossed the roundabout onto park Hall Road. At Weston Coyney we crossed over the A520 onto Caverwall Road. We carried on through Caverswall and onto School Lane and we joined the A521. We ran through Blythe Bridge over the railway line and we carried on to Cheadle. we parked up in town and we went to the Wetherspoons for tea. After using the toilet Matthew had a burger and chips followed by chocolate fudge cake, all washed down with a glass of Coke. After we had finished eating we run back Meadows DX65 DMO to Bentilee the opposite way that we came. We traveled back down the A521 Blythe Bridge to Meir and we went through Caverswall, across the A520 onto Park Hall Road and forwards onto Dividy Road and back to respite. Later on Matthew watched television and used his computer. He then had a bath and got ready for bed. For supper Matthew had toast, before going to bed around 23:00... Mark
