Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out to see the weeping window at Middleport Pottery. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst we waited for time to go out Matthew watched buses from his window. Outside we saw Lucky Seven LM17 WPW.

When it was time to go we went downstairs and out of the the residential unit. We set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street and we saw Intercity WF07 FFG. We continued along Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

In the morning Matthew went on the computers and did communication studies. For dinner Matthew had jacket potato with beans followed by toffee cheesecake. After dinner we went to Longport for the park and ride service to the Middleport Pottery. Transport to Longport was on Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill onto the A52 and we turned right onto the A500. We ran up to Longport and we came off the A500. At the roundabout we turned right on the Eastbound A5271 and we turned right after the petrol station and parked up. We waited a few minutes for the Park & Ride service to appear. After a few minutes we saw a D&G Solo approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was D&G Bus 143 on the Middleport Pottery park and ride service.

We got on the bus and we booked to the pottery before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the the old McGuinness's site and turned right onto the A5271. At Trubshaw Cross we turned right onto Newcastle Street. We turned right onto Newport lane and right onto Burgess Street. We turned right onto Port Street and the bus stopped and unloaded and we got off. Once off the bus we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 746. We went into the pottery and Matthew went to the toilet. Matthew went to the tearoom and had a glass of Coke and a slice of chocolate fudge cake. Matthew then saw the weeping window poppies on the bottle kiln. Matthew went to the toilet again. We went out to wait for the park and ride bus and we saw Bennetts coach Y58 THS parked up outside.

A few minutes later the park and ride bus re-appeared and as expected it was D&G Bus 143.

We got on the bus and we booked to Longport. We set off along Port Street and we followed the road to the right onto Maddock Street. We turned left onto Newport Road and left onto Newcastle Street. At Trubshaw Cross we turned left onto the A5271 and we turned left onto the car park behind the Texaco garage. We got off the bus and we climbed aboard Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX for the journey back to Fenton. We set off onto the A5271 and we turned right onto the Southbound A500. We ran through Etruria to Stoke and we came off the A500 and we saw Z Carz DC12 KNG. We turned left onto City Road. We went under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room and use his computer. Outside we saw First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley.

Later on Matthew went to Grandma's. Matthew went downstairs and out of the residential unit. We went to Grandma's in a car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down to the A52. We went under the railway line and over the A500 into Stoke. We went around the one-way system and up Hartshill Road and into Harshill. We turned left onto the Avenue and we ran to the end where we turned right onto the A34. We turned off the A34 and we stopped at Grandma's house. Matthew went on the computer and had a can of Irn Bru. For tea Matthew had shepherds pie followed by treacle tart and custard. Staff came to pick Matthew up in the car and Matthew said goodbye to Grandma and we set off onto Occupation Street. We turned onto the A34 and we ran past Newcastle. Near to the KFC we turned left onto Robertson Avenue. We crossed forwards onto Douglas Road and forwards to the disco. We spent some time at the disco. Matthew went to the toilet and a glass of coke. God knows what your teeth are like! You are forever eating chocolate, cake and drinking Coke. Eat some proper food for a change. After doing some dancing we returned to Fenton. We ran back to the A34 and we went South into Newcastle. We turned left onto the A527 and we ran up to the Jubilee Roundabout. We ran around the one-way system onto George Street and we ran into Hartshill. We ran down Hartshill Road into Stoke and we went around the one-way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and onto City Road before going under the railway line. We climbed the hill and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark
