Trip to Longton / Hanley 06-12-2018

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. Later on Matthew was going to his Christmas party. It was also the opening date for Lidl's HUGE new Stoke-on-Trent store and shoppers will be able to pick up these bargains. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw First Potteries 63174 on a #11 to Newcastle. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX parked outside.

In the morning Matthew went to Longton. We went outside and we got in a car. We set off onto Glebedale Road and right onto City Road. We went past KFC and we turned right onto the A50 link road. We turned left at the roundabout and we joined the Eastbound A50. We came of the A50 at Longton and we ran along the high level A50 and we turned right onto the A5035 and into the supermarket. Matthew went into the supermarket and brought his weekly shopping. Once we had finished we set off onto te A5035 and we joined the high level A50. We went onto the A50 proper ans we came off at Heron Cross. We turned right onto the A50 link road and left onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and back to the day centre. For dinner Matthew had ham sandwich followed by a Bakewell tart. In the morning Matthew went to JTF on foot. We set off onto Glebedale Road and right onto City Road. At the roundabout we turned left and walked past KFC and into JTF. Matthew went upstairs to the cafe and had toast and a drink of Coke. When we had finished we walked back to the day centre. We set off past KFC and onto City Road before turning left into Christchurch Street and onto Temple Street. Back at the house Mathew had some toast and then chilled out in his room on his computer. We saw D&G Bus 119 on a #1A to Park Site.

A few minutes later we saw D&G Bus 133 on a #1 to Meir.

A while later we saw Lucky Seven P400 CSH heading towards Longton.

For tea Matthew had ham and sandwiches followed by toffee yoghurt. Later on got ready for his Chrsitmas party. He put on his new jeans and his new Christmas shirt. Later on when it was time to go Matthew went downstairs to get on a bus. Transport for the journey to Hanley was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed City Road onto Manor Street and we ran to the end where we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and across the roundabout onto Lichfield Street. At the top of the hill we turned left onto the clockwise ring road and we ran around to Broad Street. We turned right onto Broad Street and we followed the one-way system onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity Street and left onto Foundry Street and to our destination. we got off the bus and we went into the party venue. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a drink of Coke. Matthew had some party food including some egg sandwiches and some cake. After Matthew had eaten he spent to night socialising with friends and dancing. When it was time to go Matthew went outside to wait for the bus to be brought around. Whilst we waited we saw Shelton Care Group PE67 XEV which stopped to pick up some of his friends.

A few minutes later another minibus appeared and it was Shelton Care Group PE67 XFB.

We walked down Foundry Street and around the corner into Trinity Street. We walked onto Marsh Street and we got into the transport for the journey home Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We ran down Etruria Road and we joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We ran around to by the bus station and we turned right onto Lichfield Street. We ran down to Joiners Square and we went straight across the roundabout onto Victoria Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right into Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street and we turned right into City Road. We turned left into Smithpool Road and left into Temple Street. When we got back to the residential unit we went upstairs. Matthew went to his room to chill out and use his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
