Trip to Stoke / Hanley 07-11-2019

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw blue minibus DY65 ??? going towards Heron Cross.

After a while we saw D&G Bus 114 on a #1 to Park Site.

Later on we went downstairs and we got in a car. We set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street Church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill towards Stoke. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran alongside the railway line. We ran forwards onto Station Road and past the railway station. At the end of the rod we turned right onto Stoke Road. We ran up into Shelton and we turned left onto Cemetery Road. We turned right onto Shelton New Road and we stopped at the college. Matthew went upstairs to get something and afterwards returned to the car. We set off onto Shelton New Road and we turned left onto Cemetery Road. We turned right onto Stoke Road and left onto Station Road. We ran past the railway station and we turned right onto Glebe Street. We ran forwards onto the one-way system and we continued onto Lonsdale Street. We turned right onto Flemming Road and we continued onto Campbell Place. We turned left onto Hide Street and we parked up in the car park. We walked back down to The London Grill and Matthew went to the toilet. For dinner Matthew had omelette, chips and beans washed down with a can of Coke. After Matthew had finished his dinner we returned to the car. We set off onto Hide Street and we turned left onto Poulson Street. We turned left onto Hill Street and at the end we turned right onto Honeywall. We ran forwards onto the A52 and we turned right onto Stoke Old Road. We crossed over the A500 and under the railway line. We ran up the hill and we turned left onto St Marks Street and we turned left onto Rectory Street. We turned left onto Clive Street and left onto Sun Street. We turned left onto Etruria Vale Road and we stopped at the annex. Afterwards we continued along Etruria Vale Road and we ran up to Snow Hill. We turned right onto Stoke Road and we ran down the hill. We turned left onto Station Road and we continued onto the A52. We ran up City Road and we turned left onto the private road on which the baths are situated where we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 302. We continued to the end and we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had an cup of orange Fanta. We got back in the car and we set off onto Victoria Road. We turned right onto the private road onto which the baths are situated and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turn right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out before going out. We saw First Potteries 67159 on a #23 to Hanley.

For tea Matthew had lasagne with garlic bread followed by a Manchester Tart. Later on we went to Hanley. We went downstairs and onto City Road. We waited for a bus to Hanley. After a short while we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67153 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. down under the railway line and into Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we entered the bus station where we saw Park's of Hamilton BV67 JYT on a #548 to Birmingham. We got up and got off the bus and we set off onto Lichfield Street. We continued onto Stafford Street and we went to The Little Dessert Shop. Matthew had a slice of rainbow cake with custard. When he had finished he walked back along Stafford Street and forwards onto Lichfield Street. Back at the bus station we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short while later we saw it was First Potteries 63178 on a #6 to Meir. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we we walked around the corner and onto City Road. We walked back down and crossed over the road at the pelican Cross before cutting through to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
