Today Matthew was on the second full day of a trip to East Anglia. There had been 2 new arrivals to First Eastern Counties. Matthew got up around 09:00 and had toast and juice for breakfast. We chilled out watching TV and watching the squirrels and ducks outside the caravan. Around 11:00 we got in the car and we set off out of the caravan park. We set off out of the caravan Park and we ran down to the main road. We joined the Northbound A143 and we ran up tpwards the town. We joined the Northbound A47 for a short distance past a new bridge over the are which is under contruction. We came off onto Pasteur Road and we crossed the Haven Bridge. We ran up North Quay and we turned right onto Fullers Hill. We parked up by the market and we walked along Market Place onto Regent Road. We stopped at the bus station on the way past and we saw First Eastern Counties 36283 on a #8 to the James Paget Hospital.

We looked for somewhere to have dinner all the way along Regent Road and in the end we walked back and decided to eat at the Troll Cart. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we sat down and had dinner. Matthew had sausage and chips and a glass of Coke. Whenwe had finished we said goodbye to mum and we headed across the road to the bus station. We decided not to hang around to long so we headed over to a bus already in the bus station. As we got closer we saw it was First Eastern Counties 47502 on a #6 to Bradwell.

We got on the bus and we brough a First Costal High5 Day ticket before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off Southwards onto Alexander Road and we followed the one-way system onto Dene Side. We turned left onto Regent Road and right onto King Street. We turned left onto Regent Street and we ran fowards onto South Quay. We turned left onto haven Bridge and at the junction we turned left onto Southdown Road. We ran for about 2/3 of a mile and we joined Beccles Road. After a few hundred yards we turned left onto High Road. We ran forwards onto High Street and we ran into Gorleston. When the bus turned right onto Church Lane where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Eastern Counties 47502 as it continued towards Bradwell.

Once off the bus we went for a little walk about. We crossed over the High Street and we stopped at the toilet block. After Matthew had been to the toilet we walked along Baker Street to Riverside Road. We had a look at the docks and the river Yare before walking back along Baker Street and onto High Street. Matthew went to the toilet again and we lookedat what we could catch next. I saw on the real time display that there was a bus to Lowestoft due in a few minutes. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Eastern Counties 37571 on a #1A to Lowestoft.

We got on the bus and we flashed the First Costal High5 Day ticket to the driver before we sat down. We set off Southwards down High Street and we ran forwards onto Lowestoft Road. We continued onto Victoria Road and we cut back onto the A47 before turning right into the James Paget hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw First Eastern Counties 36215 on a #8 to Caister. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A47 for about a mile and we turned left onto the access road. We turned left onto Lowestoft Road and right onto Station Road. We turned right onto Coast Road and we headed Southwards into Corton. We turned left onto Church Lane and we ran forwards onto The Street. We turned right onto Station Road and right onto Corton Long Lane. At the roundabout we turned sharp left onto Pleasurewood Hill. We turned left onto Leisure Way and we stopped outside Tesco. After doing a u-turned at the next roundabout we turned left onto Foxburrow Hill. We continued Southwards into the centre of Lowestoft and we ran into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw First Eastern Counties 33821 on a X21 to Norwich.

Across the road we saw First Eastern Counties 44533 on a #109 to Carlton Colville.

We decided to have a walk around town to see what was about. We set off along Gordon Road past the former Wilko and we saw First Eastern Counties 37575 on a #99 to Lowestoft.

We cut through an alleyway onto the A47 and we walked around the outside of the town. When we got to the railway station we turned right onto London Road North and we walked through the town centre. When we got back to the bus station we saw that First Eastern Counties 33821 was being readied for service. Matthew wanted to do this bus, but we could only do it for a short distance due to the ticket validity. We got on the bus and we placed the First Costal High5 Day ticket the scanner before went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station and we turned right onto Gordon Road. We went around the rouandabout and we turned sharp right onto the Southbound A47. We crossed over the inner harbour befoer turning left onto the B1532. There were two parrallel road with terrace housing in between them. We ran Southwards down the Eastern of the 2 roads for about 1/2 a mile before the 2 roads merged. We spotted a bus coming up the other way on the map so we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Eastern Counties 33821 as it continued towards Norwich.

We crossed the road to catch a bus back to Lowestoft. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was First Eastern Counties 33814 on a #99 to Lowestoft.

We got on the bus and we placed the First Costal High5 Day ticket under the scanner before we went upstairs and sat down. We headed Northwards up the B1532. When the road split in two we stayed on the Western Northbound carriageway.

We got on the bus and we flashed the First Costal High5 Day ticket under the scanner before we went upstairs and we sat down towards the back off the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we turned right onto Gordon Road. We ran forwards onto Old Nelson Street and we ran Northwards out of town. We ran forwards onto Yarmouth Road and forwards again onto Foxburrow Hill. We turned right onto Leisure Way and we stopped outside Tesco. We did a u turned at the next roundabout and we headed back to the main road. We ran Northwards for a few hundred yards and we turned right onto Corton Long Lane. We turned left onto Station Road and left onto The Street. We ran Northwards onto Church Lane and we turned right onto Coast Road. We turned left onto Station Road and we re-joined the Northbound A47. We ran for about a mile and we turned right onto Victoria Road and we ran Northwards onto High Street. We ran Northwards into Gorleston and we stopped briefly before continuing Northwards. We ran onto High Road and forwards onto Beccles Road. We turned right onto Bollard Quay and we turned right onto the A1243. We crossed over the River Yare amd we ran into the centre of Great Yarmouth. We turned right onto Stonecutters Way and we turned left onto Howard Street North. We ran into Market Place and we turned right onto Fuller's Hill. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus.

We got on the bus and we placed the First Costal High5 Day ticket under the scanner before we went upstairs and we sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto Regent Road. We turned right onto King Street and we followed the road to the left onto Regent Street. We turned right onto Howard Street South and we headed Northwards. We turned right into The Conge and we enterted the market place. We crossed over Fuller's Hill and we continued Northwards up Northgate Street and we turned right onto Beaconsfield Road. We turned left onto North Denes Road and we ran forwards onto Sandringham Road. We turned left onto Barnard Avenue and we turned right onto Beatty Road. We turned left onto Lellicoe Road and we ran past Gret Yarmouth racecourse. We turned right onto the Northbound A149 and we ran past the greyhound track. We ran forwards onto Yarmouth Road and we ran into Caister. We ran onto the High Street and we veered right onto Ormesby Road. We passed the Haven holiday Park and we turned right onto Second Avebue. We turned right onto Carter Close. We turned left onto Halt Road and left onto Marram Drive where the bus terminated. We got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Eastern Counties 36288 as is prepared to headed back towards Great Yarmouth on the #2 service.

Once off the bus we walked to the sea front. Matthew visited the toilet and aferwards we walked onto the beach. We returned ed to the main path and Matthew sat down and had a Coke and a couple od squashed Milky Way bars from the trip bag. We walked back to Second Avenue and we turned left onto Marram Drive. We saw the bus was already at the stop. As expected it was First Eastern Counties 36283 on a #8 to James Paget Hospital.

We got on the bus and we placed the First Costal High5 Day ticket under the scanner. The lower salonn was empty so Matthew took a picture inside of First Eastern Counties 36283 before we went upstairs.

The bus waited for time and afterwards set off along Marram Drive. We turned left onto Second Avenue and we ran to the end before heading Southwards down Ormesby Road. We ran forwards onto High Street and forwards onto Yarmouth Road. We joined the Southbound A149 and we ran past the greyhound stadium. We turned left onto Jellicoe Road and right onto Beatty Road. We turned left onto Barnard Avebue and right onto Sandringham Avenue. We continued Southwards before turning right onto Beaconsfield Road. We turned left onto Northgate Street and we headed Southwards into the town. We veered left onto Fullers Hill and we continued onto Priory Plain. We continued onto Temle Road and we entered the bus station from the North end where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the Matthew took another picture of First Eastern Counties 36283 before it departed towards James Paget Hospital.

Once off the bus we set off on foot back to the car. We walked along Regent Road and we turned right onto Theartre Plain. We continued towards the car and Matthew spotted a pub on Market Gates. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we walked out onto Market Gates and turned right onto market PLace and we got in the car. As we had been unable to get an ice cream earlier mum had found a 'drive through donut' shop that had a a god donut deal which also sold ice cream. We set off along market PLace and we turned left o to Fuller's Hill. We turned right onto the A149 and e headed Northwards. We past the First Eastern Couties depot and there was a large two-tone green double decker parked at the front. We continued North past the racecource and we ran forwards onto Yarmout Road. We ran through the centre of Caister and we turned right onto Ormesby Road. We headed North almost as far as the #8 bus does and we turned left just after Dogger's Plaice chip shop. The drive through donut place was a donut van, but they did ice cream amd a great deal on a bag of mini donuts. Parked up near to the donut van was Henwood YN51 KJZ.

Matthew ate his ace cream and we waited for the donut to be ready. As they were fresh they tasted really nice! We got back onto Ormesby Road and we ran Southwards into Caister. We got back on the Southbound A149 and we ran down to Great Yarmouth. We turned right onto Acle New Road and we turned left onto the A47. We joined the A143 and we ran South Westwards. We turned left onto New Road and we turned right onto Bracon Road. We turned left onto Station Road North and we ran forwsrds into the caravan park. After we had parked up we went into the caravan and had ham sandwiches for tea. We watch TV and wrote the Blog as well as writing e-mails. We tidyied up the caravan ready for departure the next day and we went to bed around 00:00... Mark
