Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. he was going to see Grandma later on and going to the pub and returning to Blurton for a long weekend. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Around 09:00 we went downstairs and we set off on foot to the bus stop. We walked through onto City Road and we waited for a bus to stoke at the bus stop by the flats. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We got off the bus and we walked around the corner onto Campbell Place. We stopped at the Card Factory and we brought a card. After we continued to Bargain Buys and we brought some more things. Once we had finished shopping we walked along Campbell Place onto London Road. We walked past Sainsbury's and we saw City Cabs minibus GN07 KXK. went into Iceland to do some shopping. Matthew did his weekly shop and we returned to Fenton in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off along London Road and forwards onto Campbell place. We followed the one-way system to the left onto Church Street and we veered left onto Liverpool Road. We veered right onto Elanora street and we followed the road to the right onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way-system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and we ran forwards onto City Road. We went under the railway line and we ran up City Road into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and we dropped the shopping off. After dropping off the shopping we went downstairs and we continued to the day centre. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. For dinner Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. In the afternoon Matthew went to the pub. We set off onto Christchurch Street and to the pub. Matthew used the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. When we had finished in the pub we walked back along Christchurch Street and to the day centre. When it was time to go back to the residential unit we set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Temple Street. We went upstairs and Mathew waited in his room for me to come and pick him up. Whilst waiting we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 279 going towards Stoke.

I arrived tom pick Matthew up and we got ready to go to Blurton for the weekend. After getting ready we went downstairs and we got in the car. We set off in the car onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. At the end we turned right onto Station Bridge Road and we crossed over the railway line. We ran forwards Heron Street and we went through Heron Cross and over the A50 we saw Lucky Seven SG65 WFB. We ran into Blurton along Blurton Road and we veered right onto Church Street. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and we got back to Blurton around 15:15. When we got home Matthew had toast and a drink of Coke. We had planned to go to Grandma's on the 15:56. We set off on foot just before the bus was due and we waited at the bus stop where we saw Caudwell Construction DV12 JVY stop briefly.

A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67660 on a #22 to Longton. The bus we were waiting for seemed to disappear and we ended up waiting for over half an hour for the next bus, which the returning First Potteries 67660 on a #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle and we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035 and we ran over the railway line into Trentham. We passed First Potteries 63175 on a #22 to Longton. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we ran up the hill. We entered Hanford and we turned right into Wilson Road were we saw First Potteries 63098 on the final #22 turn to Longton. We turned left into Church Lane and we joined the A34. As we crossed under the A500 we saw Lucky Seven LK16 WFD. We headed into Trent Vale we caught up with First Potteries 67664 on a #101 to Hanley. We turned right into Harpfields Road we continued onto Hilton Road. We turned left into the hospital and we saw ABC Supreme minibus HV17 KVM, First Potteries 37160 on a #25 to Hanley and D&G Bus 160 on a #9 to Biddulph. We turned right onto the A34 passing First Potteries 65038 on a #101 to Stafford, and a couple of stops down the road we got up and got off the bus. We set off along the A34 towards the crossing and we saw E-zec patient transpot YJ16 GGZ heading into Newcastle.

We walked up the hill to Grandma's house. At Grandma's Matthew had a can of Irn Bru and some toast and used her computer. When it was time to go we went to the pub in the car. We set off just after 18:00 and we ran down Victoria Street. We turned left onto the A34. We continued southwards into Trent Vale and we stopped at the pub. We walked into the pub and we sat down at our one our normal tables. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with custard. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 65027 on a #101 to Hanley. Once we had finished eating we set off to uncle Dave's to pick him up. We ran down the A34 and we joined the Northbound A500. At Sideway we turned right onto the A50 and we came off the A50 at Heron Cross. We dropped down into Fenton to pick uncle Dave up. Once we had picked him up we ran up to Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and we ran into Blurton along Blurton Road, catching up with First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Newstead. We veered right onto Church Street and we turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and we got back to Blurton around 19:45. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. We wrote the Blog and we sent a couple of e-mails. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
