Today we decided to visit Worksop. Earlier in the week we asked Matthew where he'd like to go at the weekend and he chose Worksop. Research consisted of checking what buses ran in the town and what tickets were available. We also researched where to eat and where to park. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After getting ready we set off around 11:20 on the A5035 and we ran through Dresden up to Longton. We got on the Eastbound A50 and we headed through Meir where we saw Skills YN17 OHW we ran through the tunnel and we continued Eastwards towards Blythe Bridge. We followed the A50 to the right and we ran closer to Uttoxeter. As we continued Eastwards we passed Brave New Tours BN17 JEU. We joined the Northbound A38 and we ran to the East of Derby town centre. As we ran Northwards we passed an unidentified Rowell of Prudhoe coach and National Holidays NH14 RBH. We joined the Northbound M1 and we ran up to junction 30 and we joined the Eastbound A619. As we travelled eastwards we saw Orion F14 BUS & Clarkes YE18 FMD as well as Stagecoach East Midlands 15509 on a #77 to Worksop. We ran forwards onto the A60 and we arrived in town. We turned left onto Hardy Street and left onto Central Avenue. We parked up in the little car park off Central Avenue and we walked along the road past the bus garage and we stopped at Jenny's Cafe. Matthew went to the toilet and mum and uncle Dave found a table. After Matthew had used the toilet we sat down and we ordered some food. Matthew had a full English Breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished eating we said goodbye to mum and we set off along Central Avenue. We turned right onto Bridge Place and left onto Newcastle Street. We walked to the corner of the Street and we crossed over the road to the bus station. We walked into the bus station and we looked for a bus to catch. We saw Stagecoach East Midlands 15510 on a #21 to Doncaster.

When we had finished in the shop Matthew decided he needed the toilet. We spotted an normal-ish looking pub across the road and we went in. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards he decided he wanted a Coke and a slice of lemon drizzle cake. When we had finished we went outside to find uncle Dave. Matthew decided he wanted to go back towards Doncaster, and as it was late and mum was in Worksop we needed to go in the other direction.
