Trip to Longton / Meir Park 24-12-2020

Today Matthew was at Blurton and we to have with his Christmas dinner tomorrow. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had crumpets for breakfast. In the morning matthew chilled out on his computer and we waited for mum to return from work. After mum returned from work and she had a rest Matthew got dressed and we went out in the car. We set off into the estate and we ran down to the A5035. We ran through Dresden into Longton and we joined the West bound high level A50. At the roundabout we turned right onto Baths Road and we went into Tesco car park. We parked by the Transport Interchange and we saw D&G 119 on a #1 to Park Site.

We walked past the Inytervhange and we saw D&G 112 on a #1 to Meir. We continued through onto The Strand and we went into Wrights Pies. We brought a couple of Egg Custards and some sausage rolls. When we had finished in the shop we saw First Potteries 67661 on a #6 to Hanley.

We cut through to the transport Interchange and we waited for a bus back to Blurton. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 126 on a #40 Fenton circular service.

We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton. The rear of the bus was empty so Matthew took a picture inside D&G Bus 126 before sitting down towards the back of the bus.

We set off out of the Interchange onto Baths Road past Tesco and the site of the new Costa Coffee shop being built. We crossed over the A50 onto Foley Road and at the end we turned right onto Longton Hall Road where we saw white minibus LJ09 EAF. We ran to the bottom of the hill and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 126 as it continued towards Fenton.

We waited for the Newcastle bus that would take us to the other end of Blurton. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Newstead. Also seen was silver minibus NK68 BFX.

A short time later we saw the bus approaching, as expected it was First Potteries 63179 on a #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Longton Hall Road and we turned left onto Blurton Road. We ran up the hill and at the roundabout we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive where we passed First Potteries 47519 on a #22 to Longton. We continued along Beaconsfield Drive and ran to the far end where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 63179 as it continued towards Newcastle.

Once off the bus we walked all the way back to the house. We chilled out and Matthew had sasage rolls and egg custard. Mum wrapped up a few present and around 17:00 we went out to drop off a few presents. We stopped on Beaconsfield Drive and after dropping off a few gifts we went down Finstock Avenue and we saw Z Carz YN11 AHJ. We ran forwards onto Magdalen Road and we joined the A5035. We ran down to Dresden and we turned right onto Belgrave Road. We crossed the roundabout and past the old Longton Cottage Hospital and we ran into Normacot. We continued onto Waterhead Drive. We turned left onto the A520 and we ran into the centre of Meir. We turned right at the roundabout and onto the Eastbound A50. We turned right onto Lysander Road and saw First Potteries 32647 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge. We turned left at the end and right into the car park. Once we had parked up we visited thje One Stop shop and we brought a few cans of pop and a couple of chicken skewers. The chip shop a few doors down was still open, and we were tempted by the smell of the chips. We ordered our food and once we paid for it we returned to the car. We set off ontop Lysander Road and we ran up to the A50. We headed Westwards at the roundabout and we came off the A50 at Longton. We crossed the roundabout onto Rosalyn Road and we turned left onto the A5035. We ran through Dresden to Blurton and we returned home. Once home Matthew had his sausage chips and gravy washed down with a bottle of Cherry Coke. We chilled out and Matthew uploaded his pictures onto his new computer before we wrote the Blog. Later on we wrote an e-mail to the new bus group and we chilled out until bedtime around 00:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. e was also going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting for time to got to the day centre Matthew spent time in his room watching buses. Whilst waiting to go out we saw silver minibus BN66.

Matthew went out for while. We went downstairs and we got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and under the railway line into Stoke. We crossed over the A500 and we saw First Potteries 37158 on a #25 to Hanley. We joined the Northbound A500. We continued Northwards and we turned left onto Adsa. After parking up we went in the supermarket. Matthew used the toilets and afterwards we went around and did the shopping. When we had finished we decided to go have dinner. We left the retail park and we joined the Southbound A500. We came off at Etruria and we went onto the Eastbound A53. We veered left onto Garner street where we saw grey minibus OU68 CHJ. We stopped at the food van by the builders yard and Matthew had a Cumberland sausage bap washed down with a can of Coke. once we had finished we got a taxi back to the residential unit. We set off along Garner Street and we turned right onto the A500. We headed South through Stoke and we turned left onto City Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. to chill out in his room we saw First Potteries 67657 on a #11 to Newcastle.

Later on Matthew went out for a walk. We went downstairs. We set off onto Temple Street and we went onto Christchurch Street. When we had finished we walked through the passageway and across the car park onto City Road. We walked up to Victoria place and we turned left onto Victoria Road where we saw Z Carz SFZ 7846.

We walked down the hill to the park. We left the park onto Beville Street and we turned left onto Victoria Road and walked up to the square and crossed over the road. We turned right onto Beville street and then left onto Victoria Road. We crossed over City Road and we saw Afford Rent-a-Car MT70 AEO. We continued down to the bus stop and we waited for a bus to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 67661 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along Church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road we saw First Potteries 32630 on a #25 to Hanley. and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. we walked onto Hassell Street. We got a Lucky Seven taxi back to Fenton. We set off onto Stubbs Street and we turned left onto Barracks Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A53. We ran around the one-way system and we turned left onto the A52. At the end of George Street we veered left onto Shelton New Road and we ran towards Shelton. We crossed over the A500 and we turned right onto the Southbound carriageway. We came off the A500 near to Hyde Park corner and we turned left onto City Road. We ran under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road, left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to Matthew's room and Matthew chilled out in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was going to Grandma later. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 63113 on a #11 to Newcastle. we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We stopped at the Co-op and Matthew had a sandwich for breakfast and bottle of Coke. We crossed over the road and we headed to the bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew went to the toilet. we saw required D&G Bus 39 on a #8B to Brown Edge.

We headed down the bus station and Matthew decided to go to Biddulph. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 65004 on a #7A to Biddulph.

We got on the bus and we booked to Biddulph before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus waited for time before setting off out of the bus station. We went down John Street and onto Bethesda Street before we went across onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Trinity Street. We turned left into Stafford Street and we continued forwards to Quadrant Road and we left Hanley along Town Road. We travelled through Sneyd Green and over Smallthorne roundabouts to Chell. At the roundabout we turned right and we ran down the A527 through Brindley Ford and past the coach depot. We turned left to run through Brown Lees. We crossed over the A527 at Knypersley and we ran around through the housing estates of Biddulph before running into town via St John's Road, Colliers Way and up Wharf Road to the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we turned right onto the High Street and we sat on a bench Matthew had a sandwich for breakfast washed down bottle of Coke. Once we had finished we walked down the hight Street and we turned left onto Wharf Road. We waited for a bus back to Hanley at the stop later we saw D&G Bus 60 on a #93 Biddulph Moor circular. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 65004 on a #7A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto the High Street and we turned left at the roundabout onto St John's Road. We ran around the estate and we crossed over the A527 at Knypersley. We ran through Brown Lees and we rejoined the A527 by the industrial estate. We ran down through Brindley Ford and to Fegg Hayes. We ran up the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran back through Smallthorne & Sneyd Green into Hanley. When we got back to the bus station. Matthew went to the toilet. We set off onto Lichfield Street and we walked along tontine Street and turned right into Percy Street past the former Weberley's that is going to be a new 24 / 7 gaming centre. We walked back along Old Hall Street and we turned left onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus to Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67158 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We then walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we cut through onto City Road and we waited for a bus towards Newcastle. Whilst we waited we saw white minibus DU70 JMO going towards Stoke. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63178 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill and we saw First Potteries 67661 on a #11 to Hanley. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We got in the bus station and there was already a bus we could catch in the bus station. First Potteries 37158 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to the Hospital. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. We got off the bus. Once off the bus we headed up the hill towards Grandma's. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. For tea Matthew had a sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. When it was time to go we said goodbye to Grandma and we got in the car. we set off onto Occupation Street and we saw white minibus YK08 PVA. We turned left onto the A34. We ran down into Trent Vale. We turned left onto the Northbound A500. At Sideway we turned right onto the Eastbound A50. We came of the A50 at Heron Cross and we dropped down into Fenton along Station Bridge Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and left onto Masterson Street. We turned right onto Watkin Street and right again onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church RX18 GZW. We walked onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and onto Albert Square where we saw grey minibus BJ15 XSG parked up. We continued walking to the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group BL69 RFF parked up at the day centre. We went to the day centre and after spending some time baking. We made a cake and afterwards Matthew used the facilities. We returned to the residential uinit. We walked along Baker Street past the of the new housing development. We turned right onto Christchurch Street. We returned onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. When Matthew got back we went upstairs and went up to his room. Matthew watched some television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

We went downstairs and we walked through onto City Road. We crossed over at the crossing and we headed to the stop outside the shops. We waited for a bus towards Longton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67661 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off up City Road and forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and under the railway line into Longton town centre. The bus stopped on Market Street and we got up and got off the bus. Afterwards we waited for the next bus to Normacot. where we saw Autocabs SY67 WLC. After a short while we saw First Potteries 63174 on a #6 to Coalville. We got on the bus and we booked to Normacot before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off up Market Street. We continued onto and we followed the one-way system onto Commerce Street. We crossed over the A50 and we ran forwards onto Lightwood Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto Upper Belgrave Road and we got up and got off. We walked down Upper Belgrave Road and we walked along Alexandria Road and at the top corner we saw Premier Travel YT60 MRO. We turned right onto Meir Road. Once we had finished we got a taxi back to the residential unit. We set off along Meir Road and we ran towards Lightwood. At the roundabout we ran forwards onto Belgrave Road, We joined the Westbound A5035 and we turned right onto Drubery Lane. At the end we saw First Potteries 69167 on a #22 to Longton. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton. We ran past the new petrol station and up the hill to Heron Cross where we saw Travel Express BG61 KTK. We ran through onto the Eastbound A50 and onto the A50 Link Road. We turned left onto King Street and at Victoria Place we turned right onto Victoria Road and we saw First Potteries 32647 on a #6 to Parkhall. We continued down Victoria Road and we stopped at McDonalds to pick up some food. Once we had the food we set off onto Victoria Road. we ran to the top of the hill and we turned sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went into the garden and had chicken nuggets, fries and a cup of coke. He also hate some cupcakes an other party foods. Later on Matthew went upstairs and back to his room to chill out. He also watched buses out of the window. We saw Z Carz YN11 AHJ going towards Stoke.

For tea Matthew had ham sandwich followed by a jam filled sponge. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church RX18 GZW. We walked onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and onto Albert Square where we saw grey minibus BJ15 XSG parked up. We continued walking to the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group SF59 JCY. We went to the day centre and after spending some time baking. We made a cake and afterwards Matthew used the facilities. Once Matthew had finished his breakfast he chilled out in his room until it was time to go to the day centre. We saw D&G Bus 135 on a #23 to Hanley.

Later on we went downstairs and we set off on foot onto City Road. we crossed over onto Manor Street. At the end of the street we turned left onto Victoria Road. We walked down the hill to the bus stop. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63176 on a #6A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked the Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Victoria Road and towards Joiners Square. At the roundabout we went forwards onto Lichfield Street instead of going to the bus stops outside the bus station, we turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station we saw D&G 165. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew used the toilet. We waited for a bus to Tunstall. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63115 on a #3 to Crewe. We got on the bus and we booked to Tunstall before we sat down. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we went straight across onto Marsh Street. We turned right up onto Trinity Street and we went past the former RBS now a new shop. We turned left onto Stafford Street. After picking up more passenger outside of Debenhams we followed the road around to the left and then back onto Marsh Street. At the roundabout we went straight on onto Waterloo Road and we ran up the hill into Cobridge. We continued into Burslem and through the traffic lights onto Scotia Road. We went past the old Burslem PMT garage and we followed the road around to the left onto Williamson Street. We turned right onto Tunstall High Street and we continued North onto the A50. We ran through Goldenhill past the working mens club which is set to be demolished to make way for a new clubhouse and new houses. We continued along the A50 and down the bank into Kidsgrove. We ran under the railway line into Cheshire and we crossed over the A34. We continued into Church Lawton and then into Alsager. We continued Westwards along the B5077 under the M6 and into Radway Green. We followed the road to the right up Slaughter hill and we continued straight up into Haslington. We turned left onto Crewe Road and we re-joined the B5077 towards Crewe Green. We crossed over the roundabout onto the Westbound A534 and we ran towards Crewe railway station. We past the railway station and we continued for around 1/2 mile before turning right into Edlestone Road. We ran into town crossing over the railway line and forwards onto Chester Bridge. We followed the road around onto Delamere Street and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked to the chip shop restaurant on the corner of Victoria Street. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards he had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a cup of Coke. The bus station will soon be re-developed should be complete by next year. After we had finished we walked back through the bus station we saw Arriva NW&W 704 on layover. We waited for the bus back to Hanley. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63113. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down. off out of the bus station onto Delamere Street and we followed the road around onto Chester Bridge. We ran forwards onto Edleston Road and we turned left onto the A534. We ran past the railway station and we continued up towards Haslington. We turned right onto Slaughter Hill and we ran back through Radway Green and into Alsager. We continued over the A34 and into Staffordshire and we ran under the railway line into Kidsgrove. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and we continued into Sandyford. We joined Tunstall High Street and then we ran around the town centre and joined Scotia Road near to Asda. We ran up into Burslem and we continued along the A50 into Cobridge. We ran down the hill to the edge of Hanley and we went around the ring road to Town Road and we ran into Hanley. We ran down Quadrant Road and forwards onto Stafford Street. We ran across the shared space past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street. We ran forwards into the bus station. We got off the bus and we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was First Potteries 63114 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton. we sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. One off the bus we set off on foot onto City Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. We saw First Potteries 67159 on a #11 to Newcastle. For tea Matthew had Pizza followed by a Bakewell tart. this was all washed down with a can of Tango Orange. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw First Potteries 44514 on a #23 to Hanley.

Later on we went downstairs and we set off along Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. . In the morning Matthew went out to catch a bus. Near to the day centre we saw ABC Supreme VU63 LGL.

We set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Temple Street. We cut through onto City Road and we waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 112 on a #1 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off up Lichfield Street and forwards onto Tontine Street. We walked through Tontine Square and onto Town Road. We walked through the side of the Intu Potteries shopping centre and back through the shopping centre. We walked across the square and down to Stafford Street. We cut through an alleyway onto Foundry Street and we turned right onto Trinity Street. We turned left onto Gitana Street and right onto Brunswick Street. We turned left onto Marsh Street and we saw First Potteries 65705 on a #3 to Crewe.

We turned left onto Piccadilly and we crossed Stafford Street and walked up to Tontine Square. We turned sharp right onto Tontine Street and we went forwards onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. In the bus station we saw First Potteries 37146 on a #25 to Keele.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle. As the lower saloon of the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 37146.

We set off out of the bus station and we ran down John Street left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We went passed the former chemists which is becoming a new dessert shop. and we ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We went forwards onto A52 and we followed the road around to the right and under the railway line. We crossed over the A500. We continued into Stoke centre along Church Street. We went out of the other side of Stoke and up Hartshill Road into Hartshill. We turned left into The Avenue and we ran down to Hilton Road and we turned right into the hospital. We ran through the hospital and we turned right onto the A34. We ran up to Newcastle and we turned right onto Barracks Road. The bus veered left into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus station we set off onto Hassell Street and we went down the High Street. We stopped at the chip shop and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. We returned to the bus station and we walked down Stubbs Street where we saw First Potteries 63115 on a #11 to Hanley.

We waited for another bus. A short time later we saw First Potteries 32630 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we went upstairs. When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We turned left at the roundabout onto the A34. we ran South as far as the hospital where we turned left. As we travelled through the hospital. We came out of the hospital and turned left onto Hilton Road. We ran into Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran down the hill into Stoke town centre and along Church Street. After a brief stop we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We passed the railway station and we turned right onto Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. We ran up the hill through Shelton and we followed the road to the right onto Cleveland Road and Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road, continuing onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We went outside the bus station and we saw First Potteries 65001 on a #11 to Newcastle.

Back inside the bus station, we waited for a bus towards Fenton. We saw First Potteries 67158 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. Before We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We went passed the former chemists which is becoming a new dessert shop. and we ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we cut through to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. Later on Mathew went out. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop by the flats to wait for the next bus to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. Coming the other way we saw Trans Executive YJ07 DWV. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 65001 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards the hospital. A short time later we saw First Potteries 65032 on a #101 to Hanley. We saw a bus heading towards the hospital. When it came into the bus station we saw it was First Potteries 65035 on a #101 to Stafford. We got on the bus and we booked to the Black Lion before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we continued into Trent Vale where we got up and got off the bus. We walked into the pub and we sat down at our one our normal tables. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 67637 on a #22 to Longton, ABC Supreme KX13 DZL going North and First Potteries 65034 on a #101 to Stafford. Once we had finished eating we set off back to Newcastle by an Intercity taxi. We set off onto the Northbound A34 and we ran through Trent Vale into Newcastle. We turned right onto Barracks Road and left onto Ironmarket. Once ouf of the taxi we visited the pub. Matthew had a glass of Coke. Matthew had a night out in Yates and afterwards got an Intercity taxi back to Fenton. We set out along Ironmarket and we ran forwards onto the A53. We followed the one way system around onto George Street and we ran up the hill to Hartshill. We ran down Hartshill Road into Stoke and we went around the one-way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and onto City Road before going under the railway line. We climbed the hill and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. When Matthew got back he went up to his room. He used his computer and watched music videos on the Television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 783. we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw silver minibus BG04 HKC.

We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and and turned right. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off up Lichfield Street and forwards onto Tontine Street. We crossed over Tontine Square and we visited Bodycare. Matthew did his personal needs shop and afterwards we walked across the square onto Parliament Row. Matthew visited Poundland and brought a few things. Afterwards we walked along Parliament Road and we turned right onto Old hall Street. We stopped at B&M and did a bit more shopping. Once we had finished shopping we set off onto Old Hall Street and we turned the corner onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus towards Longton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63098 on a #6 to Coalville.

We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. Whilst we waited for departure time we saw First Potteries 65731 on a #3 to Crewe. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. City Road and we continued forwards onto King Street. We passed through Foley. We ran forwards into Longton and under the railway line into Longton town centre. The bus stopped on Market Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed Market Street and walked up Transport Lane. We stopped at the chip shop and Matthew had a can of Coke and a Manchester tart. Once we had finished we walked back onto Transport Lane and crossed over The Strand and to the bus stop. We waited for a bus back towards Hanley. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67661 on a #6A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down The Strand and we ran under the railway line onto King Street. over the roundabouts and we turned right onto Victoria Road. We continued down the hill and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street past the site of the new housing development. Instead of going to the bus stops outside the bus station, we turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus and Matthew used the toilet. We waited for a bus to Biddulph. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67660 on a #7A to Biddulph. We got on the bus and we booked to Biddulph before we sat down towards the back of the bus. and we set off out of the bus station and we ran down John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we crossed Broad street onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity Street and we stopped on Stafford Street to to pick up more passengers before we left town along Quadrant Road. We crossed over the ring road and we headed out of town towards Sneyd Green along Town Road. We continued to Smallthorne roundabouts and we continued forwards onto High Lane. At the end of High Lane we turned right onto the A527 and we ran down the hill through Fegg Hayes and up into Brindley Ford. We continued up towards Knyperlsey and we turned left onto Brown Lees Road. We ran through the estate and we crossed over the A527 and into the Biddulph estate. We went passed the barley Mow and we turned left onto St John's Road. At the end we re-joined the A527 and we entered the town at Wharf Road and we stopped at the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked across the High Street and onto West Street. We turned left onto Kingsfield Road and left onto Lawton Street. We turned right onto Congleton Road and right onto Thames Drive and we stopped at the Leisure Centre. Matthew went to the cafe and had a bottle of Coke. Afterwards Matthew went to the toilet. After the visited to the leisure centre Matthew returned to the bus station. We set off along Thames Drive and we turned left onto Congleton Road. We walked up the A527 and we veered left onto the High Street. We turned right onto Wharf Road and we waited for the next bus back to Hanley. A short while later we saw First Potteries 63101 on a #7A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto the High Street and we turned left onto St Johns Road. We ran around the estate and onto Woodland Street. We crossed over the A527 at Knypersley. We ran through Brown Lees and we rejoined the A527 by the industrial estate. We ran down through Brindley Ford and to Fegg Hayes. We ran up the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran back through Smallthorne & Sneyd Green into Hanley. When we got back to the bus station we waited for a bus back to Fenton. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 44511 on a #23 to Newstead. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. until it was time to go and see uncle Dave. We saw First Potteries 67658 on a #11 to Hanley.

When it was time to go to uncle Dave's we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We went across the spare ground onto Willowdale Avenue and onto Whieldon Road where we saw Lucky Seven PO11 CGG. and into uncle Dave's. Matthew had some cheesecake and a can of Fanta orange. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots. Later on he had another slice of cheesecake and a few digestive biscuits and custard creams. Uncle Dave now has a biscuit tin. Matthew chilled out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street past the new building under construction, which is now getting near to completion. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in Blurton and he was going to his day service. Later on he was returning to the residential unit. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. we set off onto Finstock Avenue and we turned left onto Beaconsfield Drive where we saw First Potteries 63177 on a #22 to Newcastle. We turned left onto Church Road and left again onto Blurton Road. We ran through to Heron Cross and we turned left onto Grove Road. We picked up uncle Dave and we continued down into Stoke. We ran down to Stoke and we turned right onto City Road. We turned left onto the A52 and we ran alongside the railway line. We ran past the railway station. We continued on to Joiners Square and at the roundabout we turned left onto the A50. We joined the anti-clockwise ring road and we ran around to Tesco. We parked up in the top corner of Tesco car park and we walked up to Hanley. As we crossed Marsh Street we saw First Potteries 32630 on a #8 to Ball Green.

We went into Della's Cafe and Matthew wanted a sausage sandwich washed down with a can of Coke. Highlights of the sightings included First Potteries 67663 on a #3 to Crewe. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran along Foley Road. We turnde right onto Longton Hall Road and we ran down the hill into Blurton. At the mini roundabout we turned left onto Blurton Road. We turned right onto Church Road and right onto Beaconsfield Drive. We got back around 13:00 We chilled out in Blurton for the afternoon and Matthew got read to go back to the residential unit. Around 16:00 we set off onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton. We crossed over the A50 and into Heron Cross. We ran forwards onto Heron Street and we continued onto Station Bridge Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and left onto Masterson Street. We turned right on to Watkin Street and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to Matthew's room and chilled out. Matthew used his computer and watched buses out of the window. Later on we went to Newcastle on the bus. We went downstairs and we set off on foot to the bus stop. We walked onto City Road. A few minutes later we saw the bus come around the corner. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 67661 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We then crossed over City Road. We cut through onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. later on he had a bath. For supper Matthew had some toast. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark
